The wisdom, this Canon 50. mm f/1.2 has ,is painite ( A gem) bespoke tailor-made suit , one off . Homemade shoes to Last… For me, Glass, well kept ,is ageless . I don’t understand very much about photography Forgive me. But I do love what some things look like? And if it can be captured ? YEAH .This, is real elation, for me .Thank you for sharing your thoughts of this real true standout masterpiece… It’s not what it’s used for, its how it’s used 🙏🏾

Respect to Sg, love you guys keep doing what you do and great work. That 50mm f1.2 will always be a classic along side the 50mm f1.0, love mine and love shooting in SG with it. don't care for the rf version, allot of swearing over sharpness, the rf is more contrasty thats for sure, both lenes of the 1.0 to 1.2 are meant to be artistic lenses, the keepers are only for those that know how to use this glass. like the 85mm 1.2 shooting at 1.0 or 1.2 is when things get really interesting. This is the only lens I use 99.9 of the time. I saw some examples against the new rf, and for me I prefer the EF why, because of the elements used when making this lens, and this is a big deal when renderings images to look more organic, organic for me means more film like a bit of grain, yes grain also from lenses not just the film speed. LOL I knew the canon on the Right bro, Zeiss, thats why I love this 50mm its not contrasty at all just right.

Amazing video and great work! I like the "fast facts" instead of talking forever about little characteristics nobody cares about. How does the 50mm f/1.2 perform on the FUJIFILM medium format sensor? Does it cover the whole sensor or did you crop the image to "full frame"? I've heard that some Canon EF lenses work great on the bigger sensors.
As the image show , it’s full sensor , there is some vignettes and fall off of image , but nothing to major .

Great review and thank you, I love this lens and it's been on my 5dmk3 for years, ... one big question, how's the lens AF performance on the sony a7C, how did it perform for you ? Was it Accurate? Slow? How about eye-af ? Would you say it will work in pro setting like in a wedding? I am thinking of switching to sony especially the a7c (or the Canon r6), I have a bunch of L glasses but I am not sure about the adaptors... I like the fact that a7c is smaller.
It’s work great with sigma mc-11 adapter for photo, not on video ya . Most of the EF lens with mc-11 work well on photo, if u planning to use it on video, it not good
