Please don’t use scent boosters like Downy Unstoppables. People with scent sensitivities will react to your clothes in public. If you must use them don’t wear those clothes to scent free places like schools or hospitals. 😢
My favorite thing to buy at Costco is toilet paper and paper towel. Saves me from buying extra stuff when I have to go to Walmart/grocery store to purchase those.

If you have a septic tank I was not to use Costco toilet paper, whu, very thick and takes longer to break down.
Their flushable wet wipes are really good and way cheap. Once you go wet wipes toilet paper is just gross

I find bottled water is cheaper at Costco for the larger packs and sometimes the Clorox wipes. But the Sam's in my area has cheaper garbage bags. I use both stores to find whatever I can and compare the best price!

Bags in my area have similar prices on both stores . Water is way cheaper at Costco . The thing I notice the first time I went to one was almost everybody had at least one package of bottled water .
If the Sams Club garbage bags are cheaper.... then they are cheaper, not better. The difference is Kirkland Signature products are not designed to be “as good as” the name brand. They are designed to be better. And they are.

I started couponing this year and it’s so easy! You do have to put some time into it but I think it’s worth it! There are many products you can get for free, such as deodorant, toothpaste, mouthwash, makeup, etc. If not free, very cheap! I recommend people considering couponing, if you have the time, effort and patience of course!
Would you recommend Costco’s winter boots? My grandma has a membership and said they have affordable snow boots for kids but she couldn’t remember how much they were, so I’m curious if you’ve ever purchased them and if they were worth it?
Kirkland vodka is thier biggest value for those lushs out there. But the cheddar cheese blocks. ..olive oil is a huge discount and coffee aswell
The ice cream bars (Haagen Daz) are always cheaper. Towels (for the same good quality) are ALWAYS cheaper. Windshield wipers - especially when they go on sale. Pies - their cheesecake is Delicious, and their pumpkin pie is the best ever! Kirkland water is cheap and tastes good as well. Plus so many other things that you can't get the same quality for the price you get at Costco. AND they have the best return policy of any store.

Have you tried the Kirkland brand ice cream bars? They are amazing and probably use less ingredients than Haag. The are also far cheaper!

I've always wondered if you ever feel embarrassed when you do your videos in public. For me I'd totally be, but I'm glad you do them! It helps so much!
Would love you to look at the deals in the pharmacy section! I always get my allergy medicine, ibuprofen, vitamins and razors at Costco. Generic versions of Zyrtec and Claritin runs about $12-15 for 365 tablets. 300 tablets at Walgreens runs $45. Even if you do a buy 1 get 1 50%, it is still WAY cheaper cheaper at Costco. Buying this one item for myself and my mom pays for my membership!

Love the Costco baby wipes! I recently discovered that Up & Up wipes from Target are actually cheaper at 1 cent per wipe regular price. Even cheaper if you have a target red card :)

Something I love to buy at costco are their chocolate covered almonds. I also always buy their raw almonds. It's the best price on raw almonds I have been able to find. Yes I would love another video on best prices at costco.

Yes! My husband commutes pretty far and Costco gas, plus 4% from the credit card makes it a lot more doable.

These are great tips! We didn’t have a Costco where I lived but we just moved back to Utah...so Costco here I come.
Back when I worked on Ranches that were way, way in the middle of No where we used to drive a flat-bed 1 ton to Costco. We didn't shop with a basket either. Costco had Hand Trucks for pallets. We'd get everything by the case and just keep loading the pallet tell it was 3 1/2 foot tall or taller. Costco also teaches you to face all Bar Codes so the checker can scan them. Then after you've paid for everything they put plastic wrap around the pallet of food so it stays together. Then they get the fork Lift out and load the whole Pallet of food onto the Flat-bed. The Ranches Pantry was the size of a bed-room.

@@TheMeleaShow Well the pay on a Ranch is Room & Board. That means what your eating is your pay so you expect good food. The Ranch I'm talking about was owned by a Conglomeration of Insurance Companies. It was 58,000 acres big and they had to feed a lot of men. The Ranch had 5000 head of Cows too. The reason Insurance Companies own Ranches is for the Tax deduction. The Pay sucks. I was in the process of a divorce and they wouldn't pay me as Married but single instead. They would only pay me $17 a day. That was back in 88 or there about.
It's like that at some of the Hawaiian stores, too.

New sub. I so agree with you on those trash bags! I’ve bought them for the past 20 years. They’re better than any other and last forever! The Rotisserie is the best! Every time I go shopping there, I pick up a rotisserie for dinner. Shred the leftover chicken and use for tacos, enchiladas, chicken sandwiches, chicken salad, etc... I always get two family size meals out of one 😊👍

My Costco buys are: aluminum foil, toilet paper, the whole salmon (even though the seasoned frozen single salmons are cheaper than whole salmon?!...), seasonings, olive oil, tuna, seaweed snack packs. The sugar is hit/miss depending on sales.

I have never thought about getting rotisserie chicken from Costco! I'll have to start doing that! I love Costco trash bags, baby wipes and diapers. We also always getting Costco cheese, hot dogs, butter and cheerios. I love the Costco girl dresses!

The prices at Costco are cheaper for their products. Even though Sam's has more options of products. One example of cheaper prices is the Starbucks keuring coffee pods. There usually on sale at Costco. In addition, the Sam's membership is cheaper. Furthermore, Costco offers a better line of organic products. All in all its up to you and what products you prefer.

I'd say costco over sams club,only thing i like better at sams is holiday ribbon and the snack bar..oh the samples are bigger(lol) but sams just seems like a glorified walmart meaning not much difference;)

Milk and bread is cheaper at my Costco than at the local grocery store.
Yup. My wife loves Grandma's Sycamore Bread. But the 2for1 pricing at Costco saves anywhere from $1 to $1.50 per loaf vs. buying 'em at the local grocery stores.
Check out if your local area has bread outlet. I find really great prices for bread like Dave’s killer bread costs 2/$5 at my local outlet. I know breads there start at $1
Our stores charge over $9.00 for coffee mate creamer. I can get double the amount of coffee mate creamer for a bit over $6.00 at Costco. The laundry beads and laundry soap are a awesome deal. Organic sagar is another great deal for me. I'm over 100 miles away from a costco so the 2 day shipping ideal savings in my situation.
I would like to go more often . The closest one to me is about 1 1/2 hour trip . I go more to SAM's because the nearest one is about 20 minutes from home . There is a second one 5 minutes from work .

Gluten free pasta and ramen, Orgain protein shakes, peanut butter powder, deals on shoes (my last pair were $100 off), porcine free omega 1000mg, MSM, Collagen for joints, That list alone saved me $$2,500 a year for one person.
I am a member of both Costco and Sam's Club. Even though I like Costco better for some unique items I find that Sam's Club prices are cheaper on about 60% of the items that I buy. Seafood, frozen vegetables and energy drinks are among the items that cost less at Sam's.

Trash bags are cheaper at Sam's Club $14.98 for 200 same thickness. Unstoppables and rotisserie chicken are the same at Sam's. I'm comparing because we get a free trip to Costco to check it coming up. That same Tide is $20.98 at Sam's. The butter was actually cheaper at Costco $10.29 Sam's $10.99. The items I buy at Sam's are ibuprofen which Costco has for cheaper (I don't have a Costco membership though), diphenhydramine (Benadryl), dog food and incontinence pads for my dogs' belly bands.

We find adult jeans for great prices at Costco! I just bought two pair of Gloria Vanderbilt jeans for $14.99 each + tax and free shipping. I had bought GV jeans at department store a year ago for about $30. My husband has found jeans and dress shirts you normally find ind department stores for way less.

I’m down in Texas and I always get milk at Costco (usually $1 cheaper than the grocery store), 2lb cheese (usually $2-$4 dollars cheaper 😳), and cheesehead string cheese (usually the same price as the big pack at the store but the Costco pack has more). Also beef, turkey, and pork jerky is cheaper
Meijers brand of baby wipes are 16.99 for 1000. And go on sale for buy one get one 40% off or buy 3 get 1 free often.
I have noticed I can get gas a whole lot cheaper, anywhere from 10 cents all the as much as 30 cents. I also came across the V8drinks, in the dollar tree store for as much one dollar, at Costco on average about 60 to 65 cents each.

I'd love to see a Costco/Sam's comparison. We don't have a Costco membership but have a Sam's membership because we share with my in-laws so it's free for us. We always buy tp and paper towels at Sam's. I do love the unstoppables too!

It's hard to pick a favorite of things we buy at Costco. My husband loves the Urban Star jeans (and I love the way they look on him), so I buy several pair of them every year during the holiday sale when they are only around $11 each...and he is good to go for the year! He's a software engineer with a casual dress code, so that makes it cheap and easy to dress him! I only use the Costco Baby Wipes too!

Clearly this video was marketed towards a certain demographic. But personally I think you forgot tires, car batteries, wiper blades, extension cords and for god sakes the hot dogs.
Their organic maple syrup is always cheaper and so is the ground beef.

I love getting ground beef at Costco! It's about $3.20 a pound compared to at least $3.50 or more per pound at Wal-Mart. Plus the quality can't be beat! I love Costco SO much :)
TOO lean......usually 15% and will NOT cook correctly to do most anything with....
Kirkland brand vodka, spiced rum, Irish whiskey, scotch and Kirkland wines are all great values also
Some of that stuff is cheap but I definitely would not say the laundry detergent is, to each their own but purex does the job just as good it may not give your clothes a good fragrance but most people will just use cologne, perfume or body sprays anyway or get the sent off of the air fresheners in their car. My local grocery store sells a giant thing of purex 250 loads for $15

All towels and clothes are best brands like CK jeans, Tommy and 32 deg even after 60% off in Macy’s they sell it for $15 but when it’s on coupon it’s $10 in Costco
The small bottle of Downy unstoppable scent beads are $9.99 here in California where I live. That same bottle at our costco is $17.00. Everything is higher here.
Ziploc sandwich/freezer bags I find are a good deal
Tortillas are always cheaper there and the English muffins. Children's Tylenol and ibuprofen are really good deals there too

Yeah, it might not be. You'd have to be saving way more than your membership cost each year. And grocery deals usually are pretty regular!

Our Costco has always allowed us to "share" our memberships. About 12 years ago, I started sharing with my younger girlfriend and her family. Now, I'm retired and don't need quite as much, but she is still working hard to support a "blended" family of 7 children. It works out for us, and it works out for Costco.
