I think eff is in the best position now. Most people who voted for ANC and were not happy about them partnering with DA and FF will vote for EFF. But EFF needs to tone down about the land thing and about opening boarders. Then they will be the next big party .
They should focus on building communities and showing people they do indeed have the skillsets of building something from nothing. I think the Open border policy is a real problem for the EFF and it was in the last election, although everyone seems to deny it. Whether real or imagined, the EFF is considered a free for all party. I think this issue has not really been addressed and the little time that it has been, it has been swept under the carpet. South Africans are wary about the perceived invasion by foreigners, particularly poor foreigners. You can theorise about the folly and the lack of black consciousness of that mindset, but it is what it is and the EFF needs the vote of the South Africans. Charity begins at home and the EFF needs to show itself to priorities its people first and foremost. They can follow that policy once they are in power. The CIC has dismissed that issue, but I think that is lack of taking responsibility because he pushed that ticket to the EFF's demise. Come on guys, now the likes of Gayton Mackenzie have become arrogant towards the EFF, when they are far much smaller than the fighters. I will argue, they rode on the ticket of controlling migration
@drmankind, everytime a person talks about the open border policy, i think it is important to ask yourself, did I educate myself more on it than what i get from mainstream media. Now that i have triggered that though, now think about the opportunities from a trading point of view, free trade within Africa.

The average South African is not educated to that argument, yet still, the EFF needs their vote. If the Eff pushes that argument, I fear they would lose votes.

It was EFF's birthday yesterday but I have realized that people will make content to share the good that EFF has been able build for themselves but some but some will unnecessarily include the bad that EFF enemies are using as propaganda against the EFF as if VBS is a fact when people are charged and sentenced for VBS. What's funny is that it is EFF birthday so why the negative publicity patronizing us as if he's talking good about it. VBS is a reality that its participants have been jailed then why the need to paint EFF with the same brush. It's a public knowledge that Zuma borrowed R7million(I am not against Zuma either) but MK is not dragged into VBS like EFF. Largely ANC and SACP are culprits on these but no one is talking about these facts!!
