What about the time Magneto a Jew who lost his parents to but survived the holocaust thought it would be a great idea to team up with the Red Skull who is an actual Nazi?
Magneto is not a villain. *HOW* many times has Magneto tried to play it Xavier's way, only to be proven right, time and again. The fact is, he watched his people get slaughtered as a child, but he was powerless to do anything about it. He refuses to let it happen again and yeah, I totally get it. Read the excellent graphic novel, "God Loves, Man Kills."
Magneto doesn't get that doing things his own way would only make things worse for all mutants. His attacks on the humans has caused them to active the sentinels resulting in mutants either being killed or forced into concentration camps. Magneto is placing all mutants in the same position that he was in as a child.
Magneto is my favorite Marvel villain. He's ideological rivalry with Proffesor X is great and the best part about him is that he believes he's doing the right thing...and that's what makes him terrifying.
Also said "bene-lo-vent." Yeah, not the first time I've noticed Simon mispronouncing words. Not saying what he does is necessarily easy, but it seems weird that these get missed in editing.
Daniel Souza Amador Sampaio The Ultimatum event killed off and screwed up so many established characters and stories, that I'm pretty sure most writers couldn't find anything really good to do with it. The entire Ultimate Universe lineup of books got pretty fucked up, with things like mutant internment camps in the U.S. and other pointlessly edgey crap like that. In the end I think that the Ultimate comics sales suffered enough that the whole thing was wiped from existence in a semi-recent event that spanned the entire Marvel Multiverse. Only a few of the more popular characters survived said event, like Ultimate Spider-Man aka Miles Morales.
Ultimatum wasn't intended to be the opening chapter in the end of the Ultimate Universe at all. Marvel wanted to re-establish the UU and change the status quo of things but it was such a clusterfuck of a story that it killed any fan interest and basically killed Jeph Loeb's writing career as well.
Ah, if only Wolverine had stayed without the adamantium. It could have gone from one of the worst things he's done, to one of the best. No more adamantium poisoning (how does Bullseye deal with that?), and by extension better healing, and no more of the "nearly unbreakable" BS. It would have been nice for him to be the mutant he was born to be rather than the one the writers kept designing him as.
i always found the bone claws stupid,i tought his original and only power was super-regeneration,the beasty-manlyness was just... him, being hairy and shit.
Your mental gymnastics are admirable, Zodiac. His backstory wasn't released for decades after his initial appearance. The mutant he was "born to be" is exactly what the writers "keep designing him as."
I think that was in Age of Apocalypse. They also had a kid with an even suckier power than Rogue. Everything that he touched turned into metal. It was the quirk from hell.
There is a right way to pronounce things, and how is pointing out the correct pronunciation disrespectful? Most people would also add insults when pointing out mispronunciations, which wasn't done here it was done as politely as possible.
I think all the "Xorn" non-sense should be referenced as well. Yeah, later it was retconned to not be the real Magneto, but the writer did intend for it to be Magneto's doing.
Magneto was a villain in the X-Men for about 20 years before he did anything really evil, or even took a life -or had his now-famous back story. In the story mentioned in the video, he sank a Soviet submarine killing everyone on board in Uncanny X-Men #150 (1981). This was the first go at making this villain properly evil rather than doing silly crimes and schemes, and was the first time he was said to be a Jewish survivor of the Nazi death camps.
Though for a time they made it seem like Onslaught was either Xavier's dark side finally surfacing, or perhaps even his true colors emerging. Sadly, it is so hard for both Marvel and DC to allow a fall from grace for their heroes... which is bad because they won't let them mature either.
Someone give me the run down on Nightcrawler's death, because I don't see why he couldnt teleport himself away, or chill in that other dimension for five minutes.
Wait, what? Why is Ultimatum on here? Number 10-2 is Canon Magneto; Ultimatum is Ultimate Magneto, who is a different character entirely from an alternate universe. The worst thing Magneto did was something he didn't even do at all?
Eh, I think I trust him more than Xavier. Magneto is upfront about his stance. Xavier forms a covert, paramilitary organization using a school as a front. This group consists of members of his own "kind", and he doesn't trust the government to handle the affairs of his own "kind", so he's going to do it himself (through his proxies). I've been told the X-Men are once again incorporating non-mutant members (I think they flirted with this for a bit in the 80's, but I wasn't a regular reader back then). S'like "Let's demonstrate our tolerance and unity by making sure we only allow membership based on genetics!" >.>
I know this happened outside of the MMU,but I love the issue when Magneto is working with The Red Skull and with other side villains, while he is in Manhattan and he starts to use his powers to simply start ripping apart whole buildings like a fucking BOSS!! I was like "whoooollyyy SHIT!!This is the Magneto we need in the MMU for sure!!
10 weirdest things magneto's done with his powers. Like Teleportation, or depowering Rogue, or compressing the victims of a genocide into electronic ghosts.
In Ultimatum, he broke Xavier's neck. Also in the UMU, he was the one who initially paralyzed Xavier. In the cartoon, "X-Men Evolution ", he was tricked into destroying the guardian that prevented Apocalypse from rising.
He also unleashed a zombie Sentry which infected all the supers on earth and turned them into super zombies which would go on to eat nearly all of mankind and the rest of the life in the universe in Marvel Zombies, whom would go on to try to infect both the Ultimate and 616 universes
The reducing the X-Men to infantile status was pretty damn twisted...especially since it wasn't their fault. Half of the team hadn't even met Magneto before he was returned to adulthood.
He stuffed Beak into a car, lifted him up into the sky, and forced his girlfriend Angel and their kids to watch as Beak damn near fell to his death, all as a punishment for failing to toughen up and put some steel on his bones.
The number 1 wasn't by 616 Mags or OG Magneto, but by Magneto from the Ultimate universe, an alternate universe that was recently erased (although some characters and elements survived, like Miles Morales).
In one of the animated series he left his daughter Wanda (Scarlet Witch) in a mental institution from the time she was a toddler because he couldn’t deal with her powers & had them medicate her until she couldn’t use them. Worst of all he was part of Quicksilver’s life & the twins didn’t know about each other. He was a hypocrite because he responded to her being “different” in the same way he said humans treat Mutants
You forgot about the Marvel zombies storyline, where magneto was the one who spreaded the virus who turned everyone into a zombie, cause he thought It wouldn't affect the mutants
oh and byw (n i know im gonna sound like a fanboy nerd here) but when fatal attractions happened it was called avalon not asteroid m but minor little things aside u have an excellent youtube channel for every 1 little error u have tons of amazing content thank u 4 all the great vids keep em coming
Magneto once rented a vhs and returned it without rewinding it!!!! The monster.
Magneto once rented a VHS. He returned it blank.
He hacked my Twitter account and changed my Netflix's password.
And he stole 30 cakes! Almost as much as Lex Luther!
Poor Daredevil. He really didn't see that one coming.
Nackers69 that's so wrong, but epically hilarious...haha
ZING!!
haha very funny But I Still DONT SEE What You Did There :)
Oh ha ha!
No matter how evil Magneto is, he will never be as evil as Lex Luthor, who stole 40 cakes. 40 cakes!
ziggy78eog That's as much as 4 10s!
That is Disney level evil.
Meme Of Spider-Man And that’s terrible
As a chubby guy that love cake f÷=k Luthor not the Gene Hackman Luthor hes awsome
Oh my god! Seriously?!
You forgot that time he assaulted proper grammar.
"X-MEN! WELCOME TO DIE!"
Just Some Guy with a Mustache He probably decided against it since he's in no place to throw stones considering HIS assault on proper pronunciation.
Have i seen you somewhere mustache fella?
Just Some Guy with a Mustache "I AM MAGNETO! MASTER OF MAGNET!"
You forgot "I am Magneto master of magnet!" lol it's from the same game I believe. =)
Just Some Guy with a Mustache That 5 player game waz tight asf!!!
What about the time Magneto a Jew who lost his parents to but survived the holocaust thought it would be a great idea to team up with the Red Skull who is an actual Nazi?
It was in the Acts of Vengeance crossover. Magneto went along with the team of villains so he could get close to Red Skull, who he buries alive
@@TomHPMc
Thought he beat him to death. Even starting the fight by saying "no powers man to man."
Actually they did have an actual team up Super Villain team up.This was before Claremont established him as a holocaust victim in X-Men 150.
Magneto is one of my favorite characters. He is a lot more powerful than people realize and he's one of the smartest people alive too.
he is also one of the most tragic as well
therock007dmx, Mr. sinister could beat him, that's my fav x men villian
Magneto is not a villain. *HOW* many times has Magneto tried to play it Xavier's way, only to be proven right, time and again. MrMike11233 lol just because you get his point of view doesn’t absolve him of of the atrocities he committed in the name of mutant kind.
I realise it's an old comment, but did you even hear the last point. He tore New York City down
I know Magneto has had relationships with Human wemon..in the past what would be the best way for a human woman to approach Magneto do you think 🤔
He's not a villain until the plot needs him to be.
Magneto is my favorite Marvel villain. He's ideological rivalry with Proffesor X is great and the best part about him is that he believes he's doing the right thing...and that's what makes him terrifying.
Magneto left the toilet seat up and didn't flush! The man is pure evil.
What the hecks is up with Simon's pronunciation? Making a sneking mess of Genosha and Ultimatum.
Even then, most of us Brits don't fuck up pronunciations like Simon manages to.
GreatgoatonFire I cringed when I heard it...maybe google Creator interviews to learn the pronunciation first-otherwise:GREAT VIDEO!!!!
GreatgoatonFire Leave him alone bully
This guy gets it
Also said "bene-lo-vent." Yeah, not the first time I've noticed Simon mispronouncing words. Not saying what he does is necessarily easy, but it seems weird that these get missed in editing.
I heard he has some unpaid parking tickets
Disgusting
LIES
At least magneto didn't steal 40 cakes. That's as much as 4 tens
And that's just terrible
10 Worst Ways to Pronounce Words should be the next vid.
YES! THANK YOU! It was driving me INSANE! The hell is an "UltiMahTum"?!?!
Ghen-Oh-Shah. Made my skin crawl.
you forgot to mention that Ultimatum was also the first chapter of the end of the Ultimates Universe. so Magneto kind of destroyed a whole universe.
Xophe A'dethri what?
Xophe A'dethri How?
Daniel Souza Amador Sampaio The Ultimatum event killed off and screwed up so many established characters and stories, that I'm pretty sure most writers couldn't find anything really good to do with it. Xophe A'dethri Reed Richards had a hand in that as well...destroying all of Asgard and all.

Without the adamantium his body transforms into an animal looking caveman
i always found the bone claws stupid,i tought his original and only power was super-regeneration,the beasty-manlyness was just... him, being hairy and shit.
Your mental gymnastics are admirable, Zodiac. His backstory wasn't released for decades after his initial appearance. The mutant he was "born to be" is exactly what the writers "keep designing him as."
The WORST crime that Magneto was that he broke my heart.
He farted in the car ......with the windows up.......
he did rogue. that's pretty bad....BADASS!
I think that was in Age of Apocalypse. They also had a kid with an even suckier power than Rogue. Everything that he touched turned into metal. It was the quirk from hell.
magneto is my favorite comic books villain of all time
He drank milk straight out of the carton, no glass, just bare lips. And put it back in the fridge empty!
Magneto didn't erase his browser history and it was later discovered he was googling "mutant midget porn" ...one of the less known atrocities
Magneto is one of the best, he's complex, and most powerful villains of all time..
he kneecapped Quicksilver...
Ul-ti-may-tum
Jen-oh-sha
It was close enough, dang.
Xophe A'dethri People pronounce things differently. There's no right or wrong. Be more respectful.
There _is_ a right and wrong way. Check any word in the dictionary and it'll have the pronunciation.
Except there IS a right and wrong way to pronounce things. "Close Enough" is why the English language is so fucked up now.
There is a right way to pronounce things, and how is pointing out the correct pronunciation disrespectful? Most people would also add insults when pointing out mispronunciations, which wasn't done here it was done as politely as possible.
Magneto doesn't scare me, you can beat him with a wooden gun.
a wooden gun wooden work though
even if you made it out of steel...it steel wooden work (jokes courtesy of Fozzie bear circa 1978)
Li-Li Mandragon assuming he doesn't rip the ducking iron out ur blood first
Everything has a magnetic field. And magneto can create force fields. If they can stop optic blasts, they can stop wood. Movies aside
Magneto is ferro magnetic, meaning there are some metals he can’t control
I wonder if there will be a movie where we see the X-Men and the Avengers come together or fight against each other? That would be cool.
Mispronounced both Genosha and Ultimatum.
Makes me miss Jim Lee's art from the 90s
Your videos are admirable.
sure
i think that too
Movie Tunes So Are Yours
Movie Tunes awwwwww weaker channel wants the attention
Fuckin' Magneto. How does he work?
Magik everywhere up in this bitch.
The Omnilution 2.0 math...lots of math

This video was... 'MAGNEficent'! Eh?
Galactic Mewtwo bum bum tss..
Galactic Mewtwo That is so Powerful! , I Just Cry! 😢
😂😂😂😂😂

I just caught MAGNETOn in pokemon.
LOL 1:30 The scene with the little boy are from "it's always Sunny in Philadelphia".
Scary, homicidal, and complicated, that's Magneto for you.
the worst thing he ever did was not being in logan
Him and sabretooth 😭😭😭
he also kinda brought a zombie plague to earth
I came to the comments to see how many people would correct his pronunciation... I wasn't disappointed with what I found
Im still waiting for them to implement Asteroid M into the X-men movies.
it would be nice to see 10 best things the mag man has ever done
I think you guys should start a vs series about character vs character
Check out Gubz's channel
Ok then
So death battle?
The Worst possible thing Magneto has ever done? Whatever he's been doing whenever Ultron tries to destroy all Biological Life on Earth.
I think all the "Xorn" non-sense should be referenced as well. Yeah, later it was retconned to not be the real Magneto, but the writer did intend for it to be Magneto's doing.

number 1 should've been creating onslaught
That was more of a Xavier's screw up.
Yeah Magneto didn't create Onslaught, Onslaught came about when Xavier wiped Magneto's mind clean.
Though for a time they made it seem like Onslaught was either Xavier's dark side finally surfacing, or perhaps even his true colors emerging. Sadly, it is so hard for both Marvel and DC to allow a fall from grace for their heroes... which is bad because they won't let them mature either.
he did rogue. that's pretty bad.... ASS!
didnt he take a crap on the mansions lawn?
Someone give me the run down on Nightcrawler's death, because I don't see why he couldnt teleport himself away, or chill in that other dimension for five minutes.
Yes! I was thinking the exact same thing!!!
You forgot when he realised the marvel zombie virus in ultimate f4
Now top 10 most Heroic things Magneto has ever done
got out of school early just to see this it is worth my time. 😄
Stay in school kid.
ellaisplotting it was the summer tho
Wow you break up early. Alright, no crime was committed. Have a nice day *tips hat*
ellaisplotting thanks bro
Wait, what? Why is Ultimatum on here? Number 10-2 is Canon Magneto; Ultimatum is Ultimate Magneto, who is a different character entirely from an alternate universe. The worst thing Magneto did was something he didn't even do at all?
If toad was smart he would've gone and found some crazy good ninja to train him then he be a threat
He uses his powers to flush toilets while people are showering
Magneto was right
Rom The Space Knight i want that t-shirt
Eh, I think I trust him more than Xavier. Magneto is upfront about his stance. Xavier forms a covert, paramilitary organization using a school as a front. This group consists of members of his own "kind", and he doesn't trust the government to handle the affairs of his own "kind", so he's going to do it himself (through his proxies).

BLAHHAHHAHHAHHAHHAHAHA LMAO I AM SO GLAD YOU PUT THE SCENE OF FRANK REYNOLDS THINKING ABOUT FROGGY IN THE PSYCH WARD. THAT MADE MY FUCKING WEEK!
He would never leave a loyal Mutant behind
Who the heck are Onis the Untouchable and The Vanisher?
Magneto is a total badass villain
I was expecting Xorn to get a mention. I know it was immediately retconned, but it was written to be Magneto.
Did you really use a clip from it's always sunny when Frank found out about his Frog? that's awesome
Good on you using young Frank when talking about toad's appearance. Froggy was a good kid!
oh my god the 'its always sunny in Philadelphia' reference was the smoothest ever
Magneto killed Quicksilver.I don't know why that wasn't one of the bad things
He turned Colossus against the X-Men, too.
Destroying a "No Parking" sign and parking his flying car exactly where it was.
So, I've heard that apparently Stan Lee didn't intend for Magneto to be a villain specifically.
He is responsible for unleashing a zombie plaque that ultimately destroyed two entire universes.
he was striving for his peoples...
10 weirdest things magneto's done with his powers. Like Teleportation, or depowering Rogue, or compressing the victims of a genocide into electronic ghosts.
doggos r better than ps4
Lucas Alcaraz I fully agree.
The true No.1
MAGNETTO stole at least 200 million pennies from one man.
In Ultimatum, he broke Xavier's neck. Also in the UMU, he was the one who initially paralyzed Xavier. In the cartoon, "X-Men Evolution ", he was tricked into destroying the guardian that prevented Apocalypse from rising.
He took Rogue from poor Gambit, and got her pregnant with a son name Magnus. But that's none of my business.. #sippintea🍵🐸

Ohhh boy the scenes of Frank as frogkid in IASIF
And why (except the writers wanted it so) was Adamantium a ferrous metal Magneto could effect?
Laziness or expediency take your pick storywise...
i like the always sunny clips to describe Toad
if i have to hear someone say genosha like that one more time i am going to lose it XD
Not Nancy, Nanny
FW Murnau like nails on a chalkboard when he keeps saying "geh-uh-no-sha"
Magneto is a bad dude with an odd friendship with Professor X..
when did Simon from video gamer tv go to what culture
Jeevan Uppal he's been on this channel a year or so
You forgot about the Marvel zombies storyline, where magneto was the one who spreaded the virus who turned everyone into a zombie, cause he thought It wouldn't affect the mutants
he left mystique to die...
2019 anyone?? Magneto should get his own spinoff solo movie as the anti hero of the X-Men, like Venom and Dr Doom
Magneto drinked my last bottle of beer ;(
Ruukas9 ‘dribbled’ kiddo you don’t drink
oh and byw (n i know im gonna sound like a fanboy nerd here) but when fatal attractions happened it was called avalon not asteroid m but minor little things aside u have an excellent youtube channel for every 1 little error u have tons of amazing content thank u 4 all the great vids keep em coming
The best super villains ever
Joker ....Loki..... Darth Vader....Magneto too
The comment_era Kingpin too
Howewer Magneto from 1992 tv series was more heroic than any other versions og him.
I love the it's always sunny in Philadelphia footage
He put the milk in before the water when making tea, sick bastard
He killed a Lynch mob of villagers who prevented him from saving his first daughter from a fire.
You should do a video about 10 DC characters not yet used in the movies
He caused the incidents in Marvel Zombies.
Actually the worse thing magneto has ever done is gave me a coke instead of diet, oh the villainy
he killed The winter soilder.
