I'm not that invested in watching LCS anymore since the players I like have all left and moved on. But the one thing I still look forward to is seeing Doublelift throw a party every time there's an update on TSM violently burning to the ground, truly glorious. Well, that and listening to Sneaky, Meteos, and Doublelift talk about all manner of random funny shit during the broadcast xD.
Doublelift wouldn't be able to throw a party if Leena wasn't there to help him every step of the way lol

Had they found he had violated those laws, they likely would have handed the investigation over to the authorities and let them handle it. Bullying is bad yes, and can constitute a crime, but criminal conduct will always be handed off

Following the league scene, I have to agree that what's been done is solid. Dinh isn't the org, he's just a moron. Taking away TSM's slot, doesn't do anything but punish the team and its constituents. Might've been nice to see a perma-ban instead of just two years, but that's still a really long time. TSM would be better off "encouraging" the dude to retire. He brings a lot of bad press to the org, that I'm sure they'd normally want to avoid.
Problem is that they can't forcibly remove him. And if he can't get his shit together all he will do is bring down his org. And, by connection, tarnish the league scene in general. At least LCS. Obvious this doesn't translate to other regions
@@mrmoosetachio ya, it would be nice if he’d just step down. Take the paychecks, but move out so nobody associates him with the org. And I agree, it feels like the LCS quality has just gone down a ton. You can’t really go to watch great gameplay, and the broadcast basically just plain sucks in my opinion. Co-streams were fun, because the personalities were enjoyable to listen to. It actually made it entertaining. I think I was most surprised that they didn’t leverage the mr beast and ninja event more.

Shame TSM has such a shit head. I've liked a lot of their players. Even now I wish nothing but the best for Spica. I just dont think Andy's ego will allow him to step down to save his org. He's gonna ride the sinking ship that he put the holes in all the way to the grave

I honestly think that the best TSM eployees can do is organize so they can make sure things improve and not go back to what they were before, using the tools Riot let them. Just imagine how awful TSM is towards their own players at this moment they literally made roster changes every week, ruin the carrier of a 19 yearl old Shenyi and in the path of doing the same with rest of the other players, imagine what they will do to other employees if they decide to speak up alone against missmanagment and bad work conditions.

I don't think Rageie is capable of keeping his temper in check for 2 years. I think he'll fuck up and when he does I predict one of two things. A: the TSM board removes him as CEO. Or B: TSM loses its LCS spot with an option to buy back in should the number of teams expand or a spot open up.

But if his brother and or others who own shares in the company own a greater percentage than he does combined, and they all agree to get rid of him, then he doesn't get a say in the matter. But it is highly speculative for sure. And he absolutely would not do it willingly. I'd wager he'd let it crash and burn before even trying to sell it lol

I wonder how Doublelift feels that he is the one who started the whole thing. His first accusation led to TSM having to change their culture and maybe being more careful in bullying their employees(of course the culture won't go through a massive change or anything and Reginald would continue to bully people that he can get away with, but it's something). It must feel extremely satisfying to Doublelift and to anyone who helped put the breaks on this mad organization called TSM. But their financial misconducts don´t seem to be investigated so far.

Not true, the probation is really important. If Reginald gets punished again in a similar situation of this scale, he will be in a similar situation with the racist echo fox shareholder: TSM forces him to self his stock (league stock obviously) or TSM gets kicked out of the League. The money is a little amount but all NBA fines are pretty light as well compared to the millions they make. You obviously don't want an extreme amount where the company is losing financially to the point where they have to let go of staff, that would be horrible

Why do we have protected classes in the USA?
Because of how Black people were treated after slavery ended in the US, where they still were denied most of their legal rights most of the time for about 100 years, so they didn’t have fair access to things like voting and courts and the police that would normally help them sort out problems.
Not that they have fully fair access to them now but they REALLY didn’t have access to them when the Civil Rights Act was passed in 1964.
Protected classes were created for the Civil Rights framework that ended Jim Crow segregation and there’s every reason to believe that if we didn’t have them Black people would be excluded again from a lot of white owned and operated places and would lose access to public remedies and services in certain places as well.
Other protected classes like religion were added for fairness and because this became the way the Civil Rights functioned - especially women, who were at the time involved in a lot of labor disputes where they were being paid less than men for the same job and it was causing a lot of problems (to a far greater degree than today) - but the main reason the framework exists this way is the rampant abuse of Black people.
In particular it also reflects the hostility of state governments toward Black people and their rights and the Feds stepping in to try to counteract it.
