Dr. Sowell is an American treasure and one of the smartest well informed people I have ever listened to.
Actually, not any more thanks to behavioral economics. And the Left doesn't focus on race. Name one anti-discrimination law that only mentions race.
I have enjoyed watching his debates from the 70s and 80s so much. The man is just a wealth of information that he is able to convey to lay people like me with such ease. If I find a video of his pop up at any point, I watch it. His ability to explain things in a palletable way is just unmatched. My great wish would be to have him debate Dyson so you could see him tear that man apart.
I do follow Dr. Sowell. His sharpness is inspiring and educational. People way below his age are, sadly, afflicted with cognitive issues. I admire him more than words can say. >> not entirely for any political leanings but rather for his inclination to probe and analyze issues instead of kowtowing to a political party. 😊

1965- Dems passed the Social Services Act- creating all the social programs AS LONG AS THERE WAS NO MAN IN THE HOUSE. Also, the 1965 Hart Cellar Act which changed immigration from mostly European to south of the border. The two groups that vote majority Dem are blks and south of the border and they both take more out of the system then they put in. And whts vote majority Rep and pay in more then they take out. In FACT. The last time that whts as a group MAJORITY voted for a Dem to be Pres was 1960. Yep you read that right. Kennedy. Time before that was 1948. So twice since WW2 and not for the last 64 years. The majority group in this country, (whts) think so poorly of Dem policies that it has not majority voted for a Dem to be Pres since 1960.
That is the reason for the switch from European immigration to south of the border. European immigration was voting Republican. Democrats knew that blks did not have enough population so they brought in another gov needy voting block. South of the border. Now we have press 2 for Spanish. And don't forget that Mexico/Cent Am has 18 of 20 the highest murder rate countries on the planet. And dems want open doors for them. You know how the Dems also say that our gun crime should be low like Europe's? Well we had them coming in but the Dems stopped the safe Europeans coming in and brought in another gov needy voting block. All for votes and power. Nothing to help the country.

Thomas Sowell is the reason the the left can stop taking about Biden's age. Biden's age is not the reason he is unable to do his job , it's his mental capability. Even at 93 Dc Sowell is still writing books and can form a sentence, unlike our president. I have read many of his books and if more people would, this country would be a much better place.
agree, DR Sowell is almost 95 and he is still providing a lot of great books, so age is not a problem!
