How is racism going to stop if we believe that a specific race can't be racist
@@Saiyanshanze13 Wow, you are exactly the person that they were talking about. Maybe don't categorize and entire people based on their skin color? You are literally promoting more racism and you honestly believe its ok.

@@oblivionspartan ever heard of the blue eyes brown eyes experiment conducted back in the 50s? Conducted by Jane Elliott?if you were to ask her today? You and I can be poor as shit and if we hate each other the purpose of racism continues to succeed.. dumbass.
If you think racism was created to benefit 'whites' you sir are the dumbass.
If I was my best friend...I'd be dead. My parents would have both been Irish. My surname was Sills. We grew up in the same hood. His little brother and I were in the same grade. Our little sisters are in school pics together from jk to 8. My sister went to a different high school for gifted kids. Brian is dead. Brian was in the same Socioeconomic bracket as me. We exemplify how literally nothing has changed. Me... black. The slave. Him Irish. The hireling.
Google up the second stanza of the American anthem. Its author was who racism was created to benefit. It wasn't me...a black. Or Brian... A white. Specifically. A poor Irish Mick.
Your TSN turning point would be a little incident called Bacon's Rebellion.
Add that to the list of shit they forgot to teach.

Black suffrage post slavery. MLK should have never existed. Blacks were voting post slavery during Johnson's reign, the first time Congress ever overrode a president.
Another?
Mansa Musa. You think Jefferson would have said what he did when he wrote the Notes to Virginia about blacks? One black poet had him make a feeble assed recant of some of the racist shit he spewed. Clearly he had no idea who Musa was. Prior to the internet... Did you?
Want more?
Christopher Columbus. Look how many white people are defending statues of this rapist and murderer, not realizing that the man never discovered America because he never set foot on American soil. That would be Americos Vessputti or however you spell his damn name I go by memory not Google sorry.
So... Don't bother attacking me personally... just address what I say.
EDIT:
And by the way I notice how you edited out all your insults to me including calling me a dumbass. You're quite the little punk
I’m black and I grew up thinking this because I heard people say it. When I got older I challenged that thought. We can’t just make up a different definition of racism and make it suit our beliefs. By definition anyone can be racist.

@David Guez White Americans can figure out their European lineage very easily by looking a few generations back. Our ancestors were all stolen and forced to be here, so we've lost track of a lot of our ancestral roots. "Black," exists because "Black," people share experiences with each other in America. White Americans share nothing but their skin color and a history of racially charged oppressiveness. We acknowledge each other as "brother," and "sister," because we're all in this together and being a family is the best way to be sure we get through it.
@David Guez How did you misquote me three times? Also, we're talking about AMERICAN slavery, AMERICAN oppression, and AMERICAN racism. Poor white Americans were not oppressed because they were WHITE, they were oppressed because they were POOR.
African American slaves were slaves because they were BLACK, and yes they were sold by "other Africans," but it wasn't out of betrayal. They were sold as prisoners of war because the tribes weren't exactly friendly with one another.
When we discuss Black Americans, we are discussing 400 years of systemic oppression that has almost exclusively, and disproportionately affected Black and Brown people and communities.
@David Guez No one thinks ALL white people were slave owners, but ALL white people are immune to the repercussions of slavery, and have benefitted from a system that gave us super-power status. They have benefitted in that white men are never considered savages, or beasts, or animals, or anything less than human.
They are considered full fledged humans without a second thought, while Black people don't get that same luxury, even the wealthiest and most affluent among us being subject to racist violence and discrimination that white people don't at all experience as a result of their race.

Redefining words is a good way to win an argument without being right.
Bigots always use deliberately unquantified, undefined, unfalsifiable weasel words.
The only definition of racism that holds across the board is the last one he gave. Racism is hatred based off of race/ethnicity. Black ppl can by definition be racist
The way that they refer to racism as a system stems from the actual true definition. By the structural/govt definition the girl from the movie used or the politician guy give its true that black people can't be racist. BUT thats definition doesnt define the word fully
Ziggy Ziggy not entirely wrong, it just doesnt hold across all circumstances. Its an incomplete definition that is still honestly true under her circumstances

Blacks don't wanna be reminded of it by someone who looks like the once oppressors, so don't say it. Blacks say it so if a white person says it to try and make them feel bad, it won't sting as much. All in all, why the hell would you wanna say a racial slur period, ESPECIALLY if you know your ancestors used it in derogation.

Yes
Hell no. Where do you see any racial indications or signifiers that saying exactly that is racially antagonistic?
How is saying "black people can't be racist" the same as calling somebody a n*gger or some other racist word? IT'S NOT. What the hell?!
Bill Baldwin by saying “black people cannot be racist” implies that a black person is incapable of being/doing something because of their race, which is racist. Racist towards non blacks as it suggests that they can have that bad trait while black cannot, and racist against blacks as it would suggest that black people are incapable of having a personality trait among their own due to their race.
Bill Baldwin it’s technically not the same due to that ones a phrase and the other a word, and someone may argue that words deemed racially offensive aren’t offensive if it’s not meant to be offensive, an example being that saying “that ***** Joe is a really cool guy” is far better than saying “blacks don’t deserve human rights and they should serve their superiors”, now I’m not saying I 100% support that argument but I will say I understand it

By definition, ANYONE can be racist. Black, white, Hispanic, Asian, whatever you are. You have the capability to be racist. There are racist blacks and whites. Let's not push the blame in just one group. Every group has bad people in it
By one definition of racism- A belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits, can definitely be applied to any race but my point is this includes blacks. Some black people have wrong preconceived ideas of who white people are. For example, it is suprising the number of times black people want to twist the words or actions of a white person just to fit their preconceived notions, ie. The movie 'white men don't jump', or they use phrases white people are too uppity, stiff, or not cool .... you get my drift? The point is racism can and does apply to all races and this does apply to black people too.

The only moral and logical solution to any of these issues is to stop creating and labeling and grouping people by race. Skin colour is nothing more than a superficial genetic trait, like hair or eye colour. I am not white, I have light skin. You are not a redhead, you were born with red hair. Black is not who you are, it's a discription of physical attributes. What your grandparents looked like, or where your generations came from, those things don't make you who you are. Nope Mang it is true. It is people that use racism as an excuse to not hear criticism across racial lines make the very word of racism lose all of its original meaning.
Would you trust a complete stranger?
we are one race thats different ethnic groups black - white - Asian but we all one race
It's like saying "only pepperoni pizza is pizza"
You can't define something as only a subset of itself.
"Systemic racism" and "Individual racism" are subsets of racism.
"I can't be racist! I'm just racially biased!"
"I can't be a terrorist! I'm just using lethal tactics to scare the population!"
"I'm not a sexual predator! I just prefer to do stuff with kids!"
"I'm not a serial killer! I just stopped a bunch of people from living!"
And okay that last one kinda sounds like Death Note, but you get the point.
Now the whole comment is funny but that Death Note call out!
@Sydney Gadzovski I'm not a mass murderer, I'm just the God of the new world.
I'M NOT A TERRORIST. I JUST USE THE IDEA OF HELL TO INFLICT FEAR INTO PEOPLE IN HOPES THAT THEY LEAVE THEIR LIFE BEHIND AND TURN TO SKY DADDY!!!
@blueBeanieboos TV the christian god
The sexual predator argument was actually used........
Humanity has officially lost their collective minds.
FunkeeMawnkee - HEY, that's 'humanism' and that's just WRONG! 😁
“I didn’t commit war crimes against Yugoslavia, I just committed mass perma-sleep”
Hmmmmmmm... Seems legit...
Carry on, carry on.
