I like the fact that across this review that Sun and Moon are classified as employees, equipment, as well as hazardous flying objects. They're so versatile.
Remember; even long before the Pizzaplex, back when they still used the Springlock animatronics, the company policy called for any member of staff suffering the effects of Springlock failure to go and find a place to bleed out away from the guests. You just know a company is screwed when their advice to their injured workers is essentially _"Lay down and _*_die."_*
@@elvingearmasterirma7241 Honestly that's just a realistic showing of any fast food joint. As someone who's worked at one, any "critical" violation found on inspections is never fixed, yet alone the basic ones.
To be perfectly fair to Vanny not having proper protective equipment, I'm fairly certain the rabbit suit is not her work uniform. She is wearing it independently of her position as an employee of the Pizzaplex, and therefore any dangers she may or may not face from her own personal choice of attire is not necessarily the responsibility of the Pizzaplex.
I counter argue that her work deemed uniform shows no more signs of certain safety equipment that she would need to keep track of the pizzaplex other than slightly better crafted foot coverage but with how many areas have clear risk of sparks and/or falling objects or tripping I believe more protection would be necessary for her seeing as she seems to scout every area. Some specific areas I think would need them are certain parts of Monty golf and most of the service tunnels which we have direct knowledge she goes to during work. Additionally, while I don't know if it's any sort of legal problem, there's definitely not enough security. With how big the pizzaplex it I would expect at least 3 security guards, especially so that if something goes wrong or a guard gets hurt another person will be present and able to get help. As it stands, if Vanessa was to end up injured and/or unconscious no one would be there or check in for at most another 4-5 hours, in that amount of time she could easily.
@ shoot thought thought I added that part, yes I did mean to say that ty. Also sorry for not responding RUclips never really gives me reply notifications
@@J4CKS0N_D34R3ST "With how big the pizzaplex it I would expect at least 3 security guards, especially so that if something goes wrong or a guard gets hurt another person will be present and able to get help." I actually have a bit of a theory about this! I think Sun wasn't violent because he doesn't have any security programming to corrupt in the first place; he's the entertainer while Moon, the "evil" one, does have the security programming. I think the Glamrocks' AI is likely a bit of both since they're the ones in the main show areas with the most kids and don't have "alters" within themselves. (The Moon security thing may be backed up with how many similarities are between the Marionette and the DCA, and in Pizzeria Simulator, one minigame is literally called 'Security Puppet.') In a cut voice line, Vanessa is heard telling Chica, Monty, and Roxy to report back to her but doesn't mention Moon. Maybe he does it instinctively? It would make sense for him to be designed to work with the security guard(s) of the Pizzaplex. He's allowed to roam the Pizzaplex every hour for five minutes while the power is out; that darkness would be a prime time for any intruders to act - and possibly hurt the human security guard.
New Theory: they decommissioned Bonnie because he made sure his area was OSHA compliant on his own and it was messing with the whole "capture children" thing
Vanessa and Vanny really are bad managers. Even though one is actually a night guard and the other is said guard's delusional, allegedly possessed criminal alter ego. Like, RIP Bonnie for real. Rabbit probably did his taxes on time too, so it's no wonder Freddy is depressed. Bear is the mascot of a less than stellar corporation that doesn't represent him at all, but.... Maybe it does actually. Does Freddy know how to do taxes?
@@brinettevalorie4554 hot take: all of the animatronics want to be compliant, bonnie was the only one who knew how headcanon branching off of hot take: every animatronic had their own upgrade, bonnies' was an elevated capacity to study and learn, and this is why he was taken out
Also I don't think he was known for falling over, I think the lore is that springtrap/burntrap was trying to hack freddy but failed and caused freddy to crash instead 24:18
About operating on Freddy When you apply Monty's claws, the game forces you two make the repairs like normal. Once you finish, you're told that the other side was automatically done. The machine can easily do this by itself, and the company *still* requires employees to risk their lives.
@@Suko120 also if they can make an automatic machine that gives you the instructions to carry on the operation, why couldn't they make the process itself automatic? At that point the only reason I can think of is sadism cause the cost difference can't be *that* much to give as an excuse for the lack of care for employees safety
"She's wearing a fursuit. She is not safe to be in the sewers. She's going to fall in the pit of robots." I can only imagine how that sounds out of context
i don’t know a whole lot abt osha violations, but i think the fact that freddy’s index finger is canonically a lighter has got to be some kind of violation bcs even if it isn’t that seems wildly unsafe, like what if you accidentally activated it and set something on fire
Yea I believe that is for lighting candles correct me if I'm wrong on birthday cakes but also what happens if a kid gets too close while Freddy is lighting a birthday cake they're probably be young kids who don't understand the danger of fire a party hat could get caught on fire clothes hair and obviously the sprinkler system doesn't work and you can't leave the building without the VIP so I really hope those parents made sure to get VIP passes for everyone or else haha you're not getting out
All the special features of the animatronics would be a criminal safety hazard. Roxy being able to see through walls means that her eyes are shooting off ionizing light radiation for one.
I also imagine the employees at the Pizzaplex using Freddy's lighter for their advantage, lighting up cigarettes because this job has truly broken them and don't care if a kid gets lung cancer or whatever How will the managers know, the sprinklers won't work
@@kaijuultimax9407 Not to mention the potential breaches of privacy that could cause. What's stopping her from x-raying the bathrooms/employee changing rooms, or x-raying customer's purses? not only are there roaches everywhere, there are some areas where the ambience has rat noises. you can hear them squeaking and skittering if you listen closely
To be completely fair, almost every single fast food restaurant you go to has rats. And the pizzaplex is enormous. There's even places underground. It would be really hard to keep rodents from getting in.
This is a tiny detail that I've never seen anyone talk about but in terms of fire hazards all of the fire extinguishers have a tag on them with an expiration date and they're all in 2015 so either the timeline isn't what people think it is or none of those fire extinguishers are up to code
@@frankieepurr the stand the fire extinguisher is on has Helpy on it so I highly doubt it's a stock asset but even if it is, it's still an OSHA violation

^^^ Yah, OSHA is specifically for worker safety, its what they specialize in. There are other guidelines for other hazards towards customers and clients, just not OSHA because *its not OSHA's job!*
I think the fire room is the funniest thing. Just a room of fire. You’re looking for some extra supplies and oops accidentally opened the door to the fire room, wrong one haha!
9:09 *Even Glamrock Freddy doesn’t appreciate the fact that the fire escape is only for VIPs to the point where he lodged a formal complaint. You know it will not go well when that happens.*
Makes me wonder why the place hasn't already gone under, given the animatronics a. talk to each other and b. are not happy with their conditions. They're literally the stars of the show; if they get sick of working, the entire thing folds (to say nothing of the fact that they can all easily kill humans...)
Vanny's therapy tapes are only accessible to Roxy due to them being invisible without the use of Roxy's eyes meaning that Roxy could be the one designated to hold the therapy tapes
Yall, I just realized (not sure if this is OSHA but it's still a health code violation) the animatronics don't/can't wash their hands. They handle kids, likely food, and other various tasks and that's nasty
It... might be that they get cleaned like other metal equipment... but god that's gotta be a lengthy nightly process. Plus idk if this was covered but the hugely dangerous process to maintain them is a huge oversight
That bunny suit is even more of an osha violation when you know that in Mike’s journal fazbear ent actively encourages employees to have a costume on hand in case the robots get a bit quirky
girl imagine theres a fire, and everyones running out of the fire exit and suddenly the employee stops you and says "sorry youre not a vip :/" and doesnt let you leave
update: absolutely outstanding, thank you for your service, I will go to work tomorrow grateful that no one's going to swan dive directly into my cranium
And if I’m not mistaken, the fee that Fazbear owes OSHA is for *each day* until the violations are fixed. So that 6 million total is just for day one, at which point they would owe it again and again each day until it’s resolved.
I don't think it's exactly the same amount? I'm sure the first payment is bigger but there's definitely some sort of daily or reoccurring cost that goes with it.

Another thing to do with the food safety in the pizzaplex Freddy canonically carres large birthday cakes in his chest cavity (and it's very likely that Monty does too because he has a chest hatch too). This video is so funny. I laughed so hard at you pointing out that Vanny's fursuit is not OSHA approved work clothing. Laughed even harder imagining someone from OSHA showing up, making it all the way down to the bottom of the pizzeria sinkhole, and placing a hazard sign next to Afton's rotting corpse. One thing that has always bothered me is those generators. I did my best to research it and I cannot find any generators that can be safely operated in enclosed spaces. As far as I know, they all give off dangerous fumes that can accumulate in indoor areas and suffocate people. SB does take place in the vague retrofuture and all, maybe by then they have some sort of clean burning magic energy source that can be used indoors. But if not, it's good Sun banned Gregory from the daycare before the fumes from those generators could suffocate him!
Hydrogen is considered a zero emissions source. It may not necessarily be one, but for the most part, it's more or less safe with limited ventilation, which is apparently what they have in the cave system.
at 11:41 - that area keeps being called "The Sewers" and people keep assuming that's an accumulation of kitchen garbage, but if you look more closely and don't let any preconceived notions interfere with seeing what's really there, it's not. That's building debris from an underground cave in! The Pizzaplex is supposed to have an underground parking lot, but we never see it nor any path to it - or don't we? If you look at the debris, it's a mix of broken concrete chunks, rebar, broken pipes, and other broken building materials, and -- car parts, like wheels, hoods, chassis, etc. The part everyone keeps calling "The Sewers" is really the missing Underground Parking! I think having a caved in section of the building is a much bigger OSHA and building safety code violation then merely gross garbage being piled up somewhere!
im a big fan of the concept of this video. like sitting there and being like "yeah so the pizzaplex is a parody of unsafe working environments and also the stage for a horror game and is therefore obviously unsafe to the life and limb of any person who walks inside it... also the devs forgot to put clearance signs on top of the garages"
Do you think the replacement of human staff for staff bots has to do with them trying to make it so the smaller amount of employees gives them a bigger deduction in the overall amount of money they'll have to pay for osha
To add onto a non working alarm system, the place does not have any sort of visual notification (strobes) for the hearing impaired nor does it have enough audible units to even remotely reach code. This place needs an MNS considering it's size and people amount, not just 2 bells. The manual stations seem to not reach the required 42 or 48 inch code requirement for NFPA. This place also does not have appropriate smoke, CO or heat detection for portions of the facility. considering the ceiling height, beam detectors need to be in place for adequate smoke detection, smoke detectors and CO detectors are also not in places that should have them. I feel like there's probably a violation over the fact that the bucket of plastic balls in Monty Golf literally swings down onto the elevated walkway, which is used frequently by employees. Edit: 6 months later and I feel like I should also say something about the intending pathing for the bucket being to swing down at whatever speed and then slam to a stop at a certain point before it completely finishes its arch. I feel like that would be harmful on the joints no matter how you look at it. Don't the ones in theme parks normally swing all the way down for a reason??? Also the balls are meant to fall over the active area, falling onto the golf course, the water and possibly people's heads... Sooo, lawsuit much?
The best part of the Resident On Fire Room is that you physically cannot see the fire start. I saw someone enter the room long before the Roxy segment and it's just...on fire. All the time. (I assumed there were gas lines running through the RoF like...just it was supposed to be on fire for like...cooking purposes but that doesn't make sense if you think about it too long.)
30:42 they actually ARE building on top of a sink hole fun fact. FNaF 6’s building falls through it presumably during construction, but when construction began, the building was originally going to serve as a museum space and had not fallen into the Earth. This is kinda foreshadowed either accidentally or intentionally (if Cawthon is just fucking insane) in FNaF 6, in which one of the lawsuits implies that FNaF 6’s building is on top of a sinkhole.
I didn't even know there was a lawsuit about there being a sinkhole. That's super interesting. Makes sense since that was where Henry decided to end it all.
@@idontevenknow2729 Well, I mean there was no real reason to cover it up properly. The restaurant in 6 was never meant to be an actual proper restaurant. It was a trap to round up all the animatronics and finally put an end to everything.

I love that she absolutely obliterated everything about the entierty of the Pizzaplex with all its hazards and was so on point with slamming everyone resonsible for all the violations, then Sun and Moon come along and shes just like, "please just give these babies safety gear, they just want to play."
About the no fire alarm going off in the "that one room on fire": not only does it violate OSHA regulations, but it also ruins the urgency and scare factor of that room. Imagine an alarm blaring as you tread through that room, with a horrifically distorded Roxy following you (and yes I know that it wouldnt make sense for Roxy to hear the player move, but maybe it could instead showcase just how good her hearing/sound identification is? Or just nerf her for this one room, to show the player the mechanics of Roxy following the sound.)
consider a cutscene where Roxy tackles the wall that the alarm is coming from and suddenly the blaring noise is now deadly silent and she turns directly toward gregory
So fun facts about the daycare, Moon was a glitch that came about after the animatronic got repurposed from a theatre to a daycare animatronic. Moon was originally mean to play the "evil" role during the theatre performances and wasn't supposed to be a distinct personality. Corporate decided it was to hard to fix his "mean" attitude and just decided to not let the lights go out in the daycare. Homie started glitched which probably falls under some of those unsafe violations. Though you'd be happy to know they got good footwear (it has rubber traction on the bottom to stop slipping). Though the back of his head just has wires that aren't hidden or taped or anything which would be so easy for children to grab at sooooooo. But yeah, the generators were added to the daycare later since the place had problems with power fluctuations (wonder whhhhyyyy) and they added them to help contain Moon (which is also why there are flood lights in the daycare, Sun/Moon's room, and the vents around the daycare). HOWEVER, the daycare itself has been closed for a while prior to the game. There actually a layer of dust added to the area, and all the daycare chairs got moved to Sun/Moon's room. So it makes sense that the area may not be the most up to code if they aren't even using it and looking to fix/update. It seems more that it's just a containment area for Moon who they're afraid of. Sun/Moon themselves probably haven't been fixed in a long time too, their paint is all chipped, they got hand prints and drawings all over themselves. Which is probably why they don't have a cover plate on the back of their head. And if you want to talk about generally unsafe just look at their room, there is literally ripped apart staff bots and bloody clothes on the floor. Sun/Moon themselves are an OSHA violation.
As much as I hate to think about it, why haven’t they just deactivated Sun/Moon? They’re clearly very unsafe to be around, and they’re not even used anymore. I don’t know if it’s 100% true or not, but it seems like Sun is truly suffering from his paranoia whilst being all alone in the daycare.. it might just be for the best to put him out of his misery..
The reason the pizzaplex hasn’t been shut down is since the instructors just get caught. Gregory is a health inspector. He was the only one to make it out (kinda). This is the true lore of SB
"moon needs something better" yes! He needs a five point harness, as body belts were made illegal save for when they're used for positioning, i.e non suspended work. Rope is also not a qualified lanyard, and lanyards CANNOT be tied they have to have proper fasteners! Sliding beam clamps exist.
the fact that freddy (the company basically programmed him) is able to lodge a formal complaint means that on paper he has to be am employee right? on top of what you said (they're sentient) you don't typically let equipment complain
I noticed quite a few possible dangers around the pizzaplex, but not THAT MANY. Think it's best to look for other jobs for when the place gets inevitably shut down-
The company who commonly solves all its problems by legally and literally sweeping them under the rug and pretending they never happened isn't OSHA compliant? _Imagine that~!_
Ok, so about the alarms one. There is in fact ONE (1) working alarm in the whole building, I've watched people play this too many times, that does in fact meet OSHA requirements of being operable, audible, and visible for hearing impaired employees that we see in the game, implying there may be more. When getting one of the security cards, Gregory accidentally triggers a lockdown in the security room. While Freddy works on fixing it, Gregory is forced to survive while Monty and Chica, alerted by the noise of the alarm, try to get him. The alarm is VERY loud (loud enough to possibly be heard all the way out on the main stage), and very bright. Their fire alarms might be out of commission but the security (breach) alarms are fully functional :D
The security room is what really matters, because its contents are vital to denying accusations and preventing lawsuits. NO ONE fucks with their security rooms and surveillance tapes. If you do, you'll be fired and/or face god knows what else in consequences in the aftermath. This would be a logical assumption, given the kind of history Fazbear Entertainment has.

Very well done, thank you for taking the time to compile all this information! $6,356,529 in fines and they haven't scratched the surface of the compensation for medical/physical/psychological trauma for employees
26:43 Technically, the animatronics DO have non conductive headwear. The shells that the endoskeletons wear are made of plastic, which *does* cover their head.
Turns out the scariest thing in Fnaf's not the murderous animatronics, the mind controlled bunny girl or the undead serial killer but safety protocols violations
Maybe you mentioned it in the video and I missed it, or maybe it just technically isn't an OSHA violation, but in the fire escape ending, the plushies are shown to be SO FLAMMABLE that all Freddy has to do is light up a pile of them and the whole pizzaplex is engulfed.
yeah, not an OSHA violation but definitely a violation of the Consumer Product Safety Commission's rules on what products are safe to sell. the guidelines on flammability for products for children are extra super strict.
Thinking rn about the fact the only alarms you do hear in the game are when you take a security badge, and it could be argued they’re violating human rights by refusing/dissuading employees higher clearance to get to bathrooms
As someone who is OSHA certified (construction safety and health specifically) I have never seen this style of video before, but thought about these things so much and this has violently caught my interest
Ok so let’s picture this- a game where you play as an OSHA inspector who’s been sent to check out fazbear corp’s comically evil entertainment deathtrap location 3b, and instead of fighting the robots you just go on with your job
Also in FNaF 2, with the newer models, Henry Emily installed facial recognition to keep Afton away from the pizza place to keep murders from happening again. This obviously failed, but at least he tried, therefore doing something about the safety of the kids. Also there's a list of safety rules in Fazbear's pizza to make sure kids are safe.
In one of the books (ill try not to spoil so much) Afton was trapped there before the construction of the pizzaplex. It is implied he was sealed off underground.
this entire video feels like that one scene in what we do in the shadows where the police come to check out the vampires’ house and instead of noticing the dead bodies and bones everywhere, they’re just shocked at how much the house violates building codes
Hearing about all of these violations gives me even more of a reason to give the animatronics actual rights in my AU. If they're THAT human, there's no way they should be working in those conditions.
There’s also the fact that they put a literal murderous maniac inside of the daycare attendant? Imagine that conversation. “Yeah, I love the idea of when it gets dark, a new attendant takes over, but why don’t we make him phsycopathic?” “YES!” I get that you can’t worry about the children but I have no doubt Moon’s murderous habits will extend to employees with no hesitation. Same
Yeah eye-pro would definitely help you with Sun and Moon lol

MMMMMUSSSIC MAAAAAN!!!!!
Oh that's so interesting! Where can I read more about it serving to become a museum space?
I didn't even know there was a lawsuit about there being a sinkhole. That's super interesting. Makes sense since that was where Henry decided to end it all.
Based off one of the books, they also didnt properly cover up the sinkhole due to an accident. They had to cover it up quickly.
@@idontevenknow2729 Well, I mean there was no real reason to cover it up properly. The restaurant in 6 was never meant to be an actual proper restaurant.
It was a trap to round up all the animatronics and finally put an end to everything.

“Freddy, you’re supposed to be on lockdown”
“But Vanessa, I’m an OSHA violation”
Just a small note, apparently Monty has been knocked down by the splash bucket before according to a note. It's still in service as we can see in game
About the no fire alarm going off in the "that one room on fire":
not only does it violate OSHA regulations, but it also ruins the urgency and scare factor of that room.
Imagine an alarm blaring as you tread through that room, with a horrifically distorded Roxy following you
(and yes I know that it wouldnt make sense for Roxy to hear the player move, but maybe it could instead showcase just how good her hearing/sound identification is? Or just nerf her for this one room, to show the player the mechanics of Roxy following the sound.)
Maybe use it as a temporary handicap so players can adjust to the new mechanic?
consider a cutscene where Roxy tackles the wall that the alarm is coming from and suddenly the blaring noise is now deadly silent and she turns directly toward gregory
@@TheWizardMus YES
Alarms in commercial buildings sound throughout the building, not just the room where the fire is.
Employees or not, the treatment of animantronics in the FNaF franchise is already several OSHA violations on its own.
Bonny was decommissioned for complying with OSHA regulations. Lmfao
Sun/Moon themselves are an OSHA violation.
fazbear entertainment over here keeping a fuckin SCP that they created locked away in a daycare lmao
Holy shit a VIP FIRE EXIT!?!? There’s no way that could ever go wrong!
The reason the pizzaplex hasn’t been shut down is since the instructors just get caught. Gregory is a health inspector. He was the only one to make it out (kinda). This is the true lore of SB
Hence the Ruin sequel 😉
Think it's best to look for other jobs for when the place gets inevitably shut down-
Vanessa!!
The company who commonly solves all its problems by legally and literally sweeping them under the rug and pretending they never happened isn't OSHA compliant? _Imagine that~!_
With the amount of rug-sweeping FBE has done throughout the series, the rug is probably 10 feet off the ground

only vip customers are allowed to not die in a fire

Turns out the scariest thing in Fnaf's not the murderous animatronics, the mind controlled bunny girl or the undead serial killer but safety protocols violations
Maybe you mentioned it in the video and I missed it, or maybe it just technically isn't an OSHA violation, but in the fire escape ending, the plushies are shown to be SO FLAMMABLE that all Freddy has to do is light up a pile of them and the whole pizzaplex is engulfed.
plushies are required by law to not be too flamable
yeah, not an OSHA violation but definitely a violation of the Consumer Product Safety Commission's rules on what products are safe to sell. the guidelines on flammability for products for children are extra super strict.
Now that we know this place was designed by a sentient AI obsessed with William Afton: stuff like the "Room perpetually on fire" makes way more sense.
9:10 a fire escape being locked behind VIP status is such a Fazbear Entertainment thing to exist
Theres also one I found on Portal, called "a fun video ln Portals OSHA Violations that only destroyed 9 weeks of my life"
Not even selling the Pizza Plex could probably cover those OSHA fines LMAO
I feel that keeping a pit of deadly robots should be an OSHA violation in and of itself if not that just illegal instead.

The REAL horror part of this game is realizing Fazbear Entertainment hasn’t been audited for all these violations yet.
Also there's a list of safety rules in Fazbear's pizza to make sure kids are safe.
now proceed to cope
In one of the books (ill try not to spoil so much) Afton was trapped there before the construction of the pizzaplex. It is implied he was sealed off underground.
