I thought that this was a good episode to express Dot's character-backstory & development!!!!! I know some people have recently said that Horizons is going too slow upon doing things, but it needs to go at this pace to develop their own story & not rush it; it has to go against 25 years of its predecessor after all. And think of it this way: if we're taking our time in expanding Horizons story slowly, that means there might be a real chance we'll get Legends Z-A into the Horizons anime!!!
Firstly I love the dot backstory portion of the episode, upon rewatch I’ve come to like it way more, but most of my other small complaints do hold up. As far horizons getting slow, I can see that as a complaint mainly because the first arc was nonstop action and now that we are at a major part in the story the terapagos arc we’ve kinda segmented off into classic Pokémon writing, plus for all we know horizons ends next year so I can see why people would worry about that.
