If I may make a suggestion for legendary Fakemon for your new region; The Pacific Northwest have many stories about cryptic creatures that are still spoke of to this day. Here’s a list of some that I’ve heard about for years: 1: Wallowa Lake Monster 2: Ball-Tailed Cat 3: Devil’s Lake Monster 4: The Thunderbird 5: Sasquatch 6: Wendigo
Lore idea: a trainer gets a griffire that is afraid of heights. But with the love and encouragement of their trainer take the leap and evolve into Embergale. Fear of heights still there the trainer take them in a (hot air balloon?) to help them get close to the sun. But it's not high enough. A wind storm upends the basket and the trainer starts to fall. In order to save their partner Embergale conquers their fear and sores high, evolving into Solarion saving their partner
While I would definetly choose the fire starter, this is one of the new "starter" sets where I not only like every final stage, I like all of the 1st and 2nd stages too. Nicely done ^^
And I now have a new favorite starter, not just among official pokemon, but among all the many many fakemon I have seen. You absolutely knocked it out of the park with the Solarion line, fantastic job. I am almost sad that they are not official so I could play with them in a game, but being able to admire the artestry is pretty nice, too.

I think each of them should also have their own unique moves. Let me know what you think of these. Castorgeo: Barreling Crash: A Physical Water-type move that has the user charge towards its target, crashing into them with their stone fists, and grows more powerful the less HP the user has. Also can act as a Ground-Type move on Land. Solarion: SkyScorch: A Dual Fire/Flying Type Special move, that has the user blast the target with hot scorching flames from their mouth, often leaving a burn. Can be used while flying, and if used whilst flying the attack’s power doubles. Faebruin: RootClaw: A Physical Grass-Type move, that has the user deliver a heavy swipe with its claws, to the target. If the attack crits it’ll buff the user’s Defence and Special Defence by 1-stage.

Clicking on this video I thought I would choose the griffin, then you show me the bear and I thought "omg I love bears so yes" but then... You show me the Aquadent line and I was hooked. The norse man in me was beaming with pride and soon as I saw Castorgeo there was no going back. I would not only call this mon my partner, I would call this mon my brother in arms and with axe in hand I would battle by it´s side. 😁
I personally like them all and the bear definitely has the best grass/fairy starter design of all the fakemons I’ve seen and the phoenix has the best shiny of them but the beaver is still the best overall

One thing I like about Brambear & Faebruin is how the regular eyes are pink, which looks nice. But mostly how the shinies have yellow eyes. Something I like about the Griffire line is how it’s eyes remind me of a black hole with the pupil being the center and the Iris is it’s event horizon. But a rune? That’s just genius!
I always choose the Grass starter. I don't normally choose Fairy types for my team, but hey, guess I got no choice for this. Also I'm surprised how all the evos have a different Hidden Ability from each other. Makes me wonder how these 1st & 2nd stages would do in Little Cup and/or given an Eviolite.
Its really cool that you decided to include the timelaps of the drawings, atleast partially. Usually when people comisdion Fakemon for Videos they only show the artwork. But i think showing the timelaps is showing an extra level of appreciation. (No shade intended. Its perfectly fine to only show the artworks. Congratulations on making a Water-type starter that looks just as appealing to me as all of the official Water-type starters. Seriously. I love love love to pick the Water-type starter in every game where I get a say in what starter I get (which is actually 3 of the 4 Pokemon games I've ever played) because I think Water-type starters look absolutely adorable.
Not sure how often this happens in pokemon but i noticed the fire and water starters get their secondary typing at the second stage where the grass only gets it at the 3rd stage Very awesome though they look great
Auqadent have a symbol of anxiety on their tails? I tend to worry all the time, too, so I can relate! ...Wait, it's supposed to be Warrior and not Worrier? Too bad. These starters feel like an interesting revisit to the type combos and general stat spreads of previous notable starters, but on way different body types that could have unique movesets.
I’ll definitely pick Griffire, this is just how I feel when I pick my partners, I just feel like my soul is being reflected saying that Pokemon is just like me, oh it’s such a shame there isn’t a game of these masterpiece’s, and I can’t help but wonder what battles would be like and the stories, I love this type of creativity🔥
Love all three 1st forms. Fire line is best all over and i think might be the first time i picked a fire starter. And i love the finished grass evo. One thing... Both the final grass and final water have bark bracers on their front arms. I dont love it on either one of them but its weird for it to be a common element in two but not all three. I think, and obvi it's just my opinion, removing it from both lines would make these great ideas have an even more polished design.
Love the concepts for all three starters, its easy to tell you and your team put a lot of love into the mons. I've no comment on the art style itself since its clearly inspired by pokemon but uses more details and colors than a standard pokemon would to help separate your style from pokemon. A few things I did find disconcerting: the water and grass starter designs seem too similar, both baby forms use the same eyes, have a 3 pronged chest fluff, and have essentially the same proportions with the main differences in shape coming from the different tails and ear styles - switching up proportions and shapes would help destinguish the lines outside of relying on color. the water and grass also share simlar design elements in their evolutions like the bracer motiff, the final evolutions are actually a good example of changing up poses to convey different intent even with two mon who have the same foundational structure. I'd love to see aquadent trying to balance on its hind legs using its tail rather than the static pose its currently using as a nod to the evolutions to come, and maybe eyes more like tepig or sobble. These would be ways I could imagine addressing my personal perspecitve noted above :) in no way is this a criticism, just my two cents. again loved the work you guys put into the lore behind each evolution line and its clear you have a love for each mon you've created today. My favorite line was the Fire starter, griffire has such a playful pose and turns into such a regal solarion.

The grass starter final evolution is a lightweight. Just pick him up and throw him at your enemies, nobody gonna expect that giant beast to be thrown at mach speed. But gotta give it to the fire starter.

I really like the shinies, their colour schemes are good-looking, but distinct from their originals. Anyway i am a sucker for beavers and i love how his shiny has some of that kyogre coloration. Its a nice thematic link for a water type to have.
The only thing I think would make the shiniest for the bears look a bit cooler would be more orange for the leaves to make it a bit fall themed😅 The tan color palette works great for the bear shinies and I wish all of these were in game😅

Brambear is an amazing Pokémon it’s just I think it’s too much of a jump from its first Evo and could be redesigned to be more simple and closer to its prevo
Building on your idea of Griffire evolving by leaping off a cliff, I also think it would be super cool if your game could - in some form - implement the starter's evolution as part of the story The way I picture it is like this: Since most starters evolve around level 16 (and again around 33-36) you figure out at what point in the game it would reach that level, and then implement a story element around that point that allows your starter to evolve (and is re-triggerable, in case evolution is cancelled). This obviously works out the easiest for Griffire (for obvious reasons), but I imagine different events depending on your starter choice (e.g. for Folifur an event where it has to protect another Pokemon in a forest, and for Aquadent it might have to help build a dam or something else). I think the rival (if your game has one) could be used to make these events feel smooth - and it would also add a level of interest to the rival themselves, which I feel is often missing in the games. Hope you take this into consideration, and if yes, I really hope you find a way to implement it! Looking forward to the game and staying tuned.
I've seen many-a-fakemon starters But god damn these knock it out of the park. I honestly think these are the best fakemon starters I've personally ever seen, the Solarion line being my favorite, especially the shiny.
Love all of them but I think if I was a Pokémon trainer in novula I’d be spending day and night climbing mountains and plateaus searching for griffire, embergale, and solarian. Especially the shiny. Can’t wait to see more!
Solid set of starters and not falling into the trap lately of fighting/dark/fairy/ghost secondary typings (One fairy but two different ones, so I'll take it) Favorite is definitely the fire starter but the water starter is fun too and I will always enjoy bear pokemon.

I would choose griffire. I play feather family and i have been wanting the gamepass griffin. If this was a real region i'd defenitely play it.

Since most starters evolve around level 16 (and again around 33-36) you figure out at what point in the game it would reach that level, and then implement a story element around that point that allows your starter to evolve (and is re-triggerable, in case evolution is cancelled).
This obviously works out the easiest for Griffire (for obvious reasons), but I imagine different events depending on your starter choice (e.g. for Folifur an event where it has to protect another Pokemon in a forest, and for Aquadent it might have to help build a dam or something else).
I think the rival (if your game has one) could be used to make these events feel smooth - and it would also add a level of interest to the rival themselves, which I feel is often missing in the games.

But god damn these knock it out of the park. I honestly think these are the best fakemon starters I've personally ever seen, the Solarion line being my favorite, especially the shiny.

Somehow, these are better than most starters. Plus, before they evolve, they are the cutest creatures ever created.
Solid set of starters and not falling into the trap lately of fighting/dark/fairy/ghost secondary typings (One fairy but two different ones, so I'll take it) Favorite is definitely the fire starter but the water starter is fun too and I will always enjoy bear pokemon.
Same here, I hope we get a break from those secondary types in Gen 10 and/or Legends ZA.
Gryffire and its evolutions are perfect. But in general they are all of them very cool and way better than most of the official starters.
