I have missed *so* many opportunities to speak to people about God and their eternal salvation. Opportunities so perfect that I look back now and kick myself. One time my boss even brought up the subject of religion and told me that he missed going to church. His girlfriend had been religious so they went every Sunday and he said even though he didn't believe in God he felt so safe and peaceful there. I just nodded and smiled, never even told him I went to church. That I was a Christian. Never told him the reasons he may have felt that peace or safety. Never told him he could have that same peace wherever he went if he'd only believe on the Lord. When lives are at stake and these people are hurtling towards an eternity of hell, why would we hold back? What right have we to keep these things to ourselves? The worst they can do is reject us, which is exactly what the world did to our Lord Jesus Christ. Thanks for this video, may we use every available moment to spread the message of hope. Even in the smallest or simplest way.
But when they deliver you up, don’t be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say. For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. [Matthew 10.19-20 Thanks again for your beautiful and honest support :) I hope we can all get better in this... To talk our mind, our opinions and about our faith with love and concerned about how it will impact others and not just about what they'll think of us... and may the Holy Spirit help us with that :)]
dude i really don't like to offend people. you're right. being gentle always does the trick and its very important that you don't give the impression that you're right and they're wrong, that really hardens a person's heart to the message you're trying to bring to them.
I really struggle with opening up to people in general. So, as a relatively new Christian, I am even more hesitant to open up to new people with the Gospel. I love learning about the Gospel, and I think it's really important to study the Bible, but I gave my friend some advice(who is Christian) about her provocative pictures that she uploads on social media with Bible scripture stating that women should dress modestly and we should not glorify ourselves, but she got upset with me and stopped replying to my messages, so if a friend is like that, how will STRANGERS be? Oh, the Bible is always right. A friend of the world is an enemy of God. They claim to follow Jesus, but they don't want to repent. It really hurt when my friend got so upset. I am only trying to help.. :( But I know this is to be expected because the Bible says at Matthew 10:22 "ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake; but he who endureth to the end shall be saved." and John 15:18 "if the world hate you, know that it hated me before it hated you". Praise God! Thanks for this video! And yes! Being meek and gentle! There is a major difference between being ON FIRE for God and just disparaging people on the street. Now that is repulsive...
Any time I feel discouraged or sooo tempted to sin, I watch a FarAwayDistance video and somehow the subject matter is always comforting. Just checked my subscription box and the topic is always relevant to what I am struggling with lol.
I love when I find other Christian vloggers out there! As a Christian vlogger with a new RUclips channel, it's so encouraging to watch others on RUclips being bold about their faith. Thanks for the great video, and keep making disciples!

Becca this is seriously God-send! I just started my new semester, and I'm in a Women & Gender class with my roomie. Well it turns out a lot of sensitive subjects from abortion to homosexuality will be heavily touched on, and it's clear that there's a twisted idea of what God's people are like. My roommate, Bets and I have been praying for wisdom and grace to be gentle and brave. Like you said, we need to gentle when telling people about Jesus and what we believe, while being respectful, even when the entire group of people may disagree. We are called to be a light, and to speak His truth. I was honestly getting nervous about what kinds of reactions I would get, which is why I'm so grateful you did this video!! God truly is using you, hun. Thank you for following what he placed in your heart to talk about. You are such a beautiful blessing.
