I got my classic one week ago. It was really disappointing because the drone has a focus / sharpness problem in general. I talked with DJI and it seems to be an issue with the right lens installation. Now I will return it and try the next one. Fingers Crossed😃

As unusual as the original twin cameras looked on the Mavic 3, the Classic (even though it is what a typical drone should look like) now looks odd in comparison. I'm slowly getting used to the single camera gimbal. The new firmware's Night Mode suggests to me that the Inspire 3 can't be too far in the future. DJI seem to push features downwards across their drone classes when there is a forthcoming upgrade to a more expensive drone (e.g. the Air 2S and the Mavic 2 Pro, before the Mavic 3 arrived). It is also possible that Autel's edge with low light footage prompted Night Mode as a response.

Will this drone have the same rules in place as the DJI mini three pro I’m in the UK I’m more concerned of where I can fly it over people not over people things like that, but if anyone has information about this. I would greatly appreciate it. thank you for the video.
I would suggest contacting the people that oversee drone rules and regulations in your country. It will be a government agency.
How can I adjust my video length?
I can only record for 3 minutes and 5 seconds(classic 3), then it starts a new video?
I have the same issue with my pro 2,
5 minutes and 4 seconds.
My FPV drone is around 3 minutes?
How can I make these videos are a bit longer?
Interesting, you might want to try different SD Cards, or try contacting DJI?

Hey Dans, I am trying to format a new card in the Mavic 3 classic and have found no way to do it in the bird so far using the RC-Pro controller.
You should be able to find that option under the settings -> camera -> format.
@@DansTubeTV I gave it a quick check and under settings, camera, format, it's asking what format you want to use and not to format the card in the bird. Way to the bottom you can do a format but that's for the card in the controller only as far as I can tell.
If you watch some of my tips and settings videos, you’ll see how I access the formatting options.

I love my mini 3 pro but I need a bigger drone that can handle high winds as I want to film the surfers when there’s big swells and strong offshore winds so need the wind resistance and battery life to be able to handle coming back to shore against the wind.

Great update Dan!; totally agree regards Master shots and more control options; one update you didn't comment on was Cruise Control?; ironically, the new colour profile for the Camera is very similar to the Inspire 1 Z3 Zoom camera !!!!
I will be showcasing cruise control in my upcoming tips and settings video. When I was testing this drone and created this video, cruise control was only working on HyperLapse modes and therefore, was not a standout feature at the time (it even said HyperLapse Cruise Control in the settings). I can now see how useful this new feature is.
Do you think is a good idea to get the mavic 3 classic instead of the mavic 3 pro if you’re not really going to use the zoom of the telefoto caras at all?

Amazing video brother Dan. Thanks 🙏 for sharing buddy, but I don’t have any need for this drone. My Dji Mavic 3 runs circles around this drone. Dji always finds a way to try to get us to buy drones with less capabilities than the others. Again you did a great job on the video.

Can you set up a point of interest and as the drone hits say the 3rd waypoint can you have it aim toward another point of interest during the same flight?

@@DansTubeTV Hi Dan. I been learning that with my Classic and wow is it amazingly good. Nice to just bring up a map and setup your WP’s and your POI’s setup and other settings without even turning on your drone.
Executing a mission and watching the drone take off on its own and automatically returning when the mission is completed is a jaw dropper for so many of us. I know I love that!

Nice video. Isn't it too risky to fly a drone between trees? Does it have sensors for upward obstacles ?

It can be risky, it can sense in all directions though and when I tested the obstacle avoidance in a dense area, it performed well. I don’t know about the text, my editor handles all of these details.
