This is the most honest review about these echo earbuds. I am returning them because too many flaws… uncomfortable, nails to open case, doesn’t block any background noise, can easily fall (too loose on the ears), cheap case, very bad design on the case and earbuds… etc. i am returning them
I love mine! The bass is amazing! They sound way better than the AirPod 3s I’ve been using for the past year or so. The device switching is pretty smooth as well between Apple and Google devices. I was tempted to go for one of the ANC models on Prime Day, but I really can’t stand IEMs due to massive microphonics, so I got these instead. Im glad I did! I’m so happy that Amazon is going back to the semi-open style like regular AirPods. It’s great being able to hear your surroundings, especially when walking on the street. The underwater feeling from wearing IEMs is extremely unnerving.
These sound like a good option if you're looking for something that integrates seamlessly with Alexa, but IMO they cut too many corners here to make them a good value otherwise. For the price they're charging, they should have either ANC or wireless charging. It's okay that they don't have both, but not having either is a letdown -- especially when they don't even include a USB cable. And the open ear design means you're going to lose some of that dynamic range in the bass. You mentioned the TOZO earbuds, so I'll make a comparison to those. For the same $50, you can get the TOZO NC7 earbuds, which have ANC, wireless charging, and pretty good sound. They lack the multipoint connection and the ability to wake up Alexa hands-free, though. If you really want to use Alexa hands-free and use multipoint connectivity, these sound good, but I'm not sure how wide a demographic that is.
Hi! You can control volume by changing the tap controls inside the Alexa app. It is very easy to switch between devices. Compared to airpods pro, the pros are substantially better because of anc, superior audio, more mics, and the h1 chip for iPhone users BUT it's way more expensive.
I'm pretty sure that you can regulate the bass response by commanding Alexa to do it for you without dealing with your phone or tablet to manually adjust volume, EQ, or whatever through the buds themselves! Try it Peace...👏♐
They are good, but bad. Like he said you need Nails to open the case, the case wobbles and can easily break if it falls. Feels cheap. No wireless charging. The earbuds are Very Uncomfortable, it doesn’t block the background at all. They are very loose in the ears, you can’t wear them in the gym or even outside. Also, it doesn’t include the charging cable. Now amazon charges $10 if you want that included. There are better earbuds, more comfortable, with charging cable, wireless charging, better design, more comfortable, and with Active Noise Canceling. And Less Expensive too. ( *** look at the Tozo earbuds for example… tozo nc2 and tozo nc9) The only good thing with the echo earbuds (3rd gen) is that it has Alexa and for calls is really good. Plus, it connects to two devices. It the case was better, if they were comfortable, if they fit better on my ears (so it could stay on my ears and block some background noise)… I would be a very happy person. Therefore, I am returning them.
its not silicon its silicone, the CONE part is very prominent, two different things there. one is a rubbery material the other is what circuit boards are made of.
Do you have to use the phone app to activate them? I just want to synch them to a Chromebook via Bluetooth so I can watch movies without disturbing family.

@@BurritoMage Not crap, Honesty. And this review is the most honest one I found. The good thing about these echo buds is that it has Alexa, case fits nicely in your pocket, really good for calls…. And you already know the negatives I mentioned. I love Amazon (I’ve been a member since 2002), but some things are just failure on arrival like the Halo View, Phone Fire and this Echo Buds 3rd gen.
@BurritoMage They are fine. You don't need your fingernails to open. They are not made to go all the way in your ears. The case is solid too. For 35.00 They are great!!!
Honestly one of the most helpful detailed review on these buds. Bought these for my work phone! Hopefully they live up to this review. Thank you!

Thank you!
These are amazing - scooped up a pair for $35 and I’m impressed.
Yes! The more I have been using other earbuds, the more I appreciate the call quality
I love mine! The bass is amazing!

letsgowalk: You found the bass "amazing"? Did you use an equalizer outside of the one in the app? Hmmm..

no volume control? would you rate these over airpod pros? how easy is it to switch from one device to another? is it only up to 2 devices?

Finally, good wireless earbuds with Alexa

Hi! No activition needed. Just pair with your device via Bluetooth
Great review but I wish you used the microphone in the buds for a segment.
Thanks! And will include your feedback in some upcoming videos.
Damn I guess I have to film in 2160p60 now...

I am no sure if my attention span lapsed but does it support wireless charging?
Hi! No wireless charging. It has fast charging though.
Thank you for your reply!
Try google
It’s garbage. Only sparingly used and it bricked two weeks after the warranty expired.
