Having some fun trying out the Bataleon Party Wave, aka the Certified Chode. The run I think is called Downhill at Canyon out in Mammoth. This thing is so fun. Its deceivingly quick edge to edge and can RAIL.

Hell yeah! I could watch this all day. Nice run.
Sweet!
Awesome. Wish I could ride like that.
Who says you can't?!
3BT FTW!!!
How would u compare the reg to the +. I have the regular. Having buyers remorse on not getting the plus. the regular is so sic tho. It’s my first Bataleon. Sic lap!
I have the + as well. I like the regular more! I think the board is meant to be loose and playful and the regular does that better imo. Definitely more fun edge to edge for me. It does feel slower though. I guess Id do + for powder if I had to choose.
@@nosnhoj stoked ! thanks for hitting me back. Glad to hear it.
Plus or regular?
Using the regular in this video.
did you 3D print that snowboard?
nah, it was actually 4D printed.
Curious about your height and weight considering the same 145 size
5'8 and guessing 150lbs. I'd recommend something ~5-10cm shorter than your usual length. I usually ride 155+. I think my body wanted slightly longer from the board like 148. But Id still stay with the 145 for the party wave personally. If it'll be your only board you use, go maybe longer.
@@nosnhoj I'm the exact same height and weight so this is some great advice much appreciated!
@@nosnhojI'm a newcomer to snowboarding. In my understanding, carving requires longer boards for stability. However, you demonstrated graceful carving with a 145cm board, which confuses me a bit. Is it because this board is more unique?
@@gemini201099 Welcome to addiction haha. This is what I think: Generally, more mass=more stable. So more length/width. Altho size is a factor, the board material and board shape affects it too. For this board, its made more wide. I find that 145L boards usually hover 24.5cm waist width. This one is a thick 27cm. Conditions wise, the board is on the lighter side and appreciates slush or softer snow. The harder the snow gets, the iffier the stability imo. In this video, snow was on the very soft side.
@@nosnhoj Thank you for your response. I've learned a lot. Wishing you a perfect snow season!
