@kc1800party The connectors I used are called spade terminals. You can pick them up anywhere like menards home depot auto parts stores ect. you strip the wire and just crimp them on.
With the run/stop switch. That's the big red switch on the right side controls. That turns off the motor without turning the key to off. Thanks for the comment!
If I did not want LED turn signals and only wanted LED headlights and possibly brake lights, would what you did in this video work without having to wire the turn signals too?
If you want to run an LED headlight and tail light at a minimum, you still have to convert to DC. It’s unfortunate they didn’t already do this from factory.
You have to push the retaining clip in with a tiny screwdriver. Be patient and maybe a magnifier would help. It can be difficult sometimes. The terminal locks in down at the bottom so that’s where you really need to push. If you never de-pinned a connector it can be challenging. Take your time and don’t give up.

I’m having a hell of a time getting the brown wire out of the plastic housing. Any recommendations?

@@icemanfiveoh should I be pushing from the front or the back (the side with the wires)
@@tankdempsey7975 you should push on the connector side opposite where the wire comes in. The wire then pulls out the back of the connector.
