Don’t even watch this video if your baby can’t sit up on their own yet ✋…if that’s you, check out this video instead: Stop feeding babies who can’t sit up yet ruclips.net/video/K8H137O3UpE/видео.html
Every baby is different. Your suggestion is 1 hour but I recently learned about waiting no more than 30 minutes as it could otherwise impact the next bottle feed. I switched to 30 mins as my little guy wasn’t hungry for a bottle. It then increased his night wakes and he was hungry.
I was wondering the same thing because I'm an older mom, too, considering adding one (MAYYYBEEEEE 2) more kids, but we are running out of time, lol! I love seeing other "older" moms! It gives me hope and stamina! Lol!
@biblebill6206 that is NOT what the WHO, AAP and MANY other leading organizations recommend, at ALL! Please don't go around spreading misinformation just because you have a differing opinion or agenda! 😂
Yes, at 6 months, so long as your baby can sit up on their own and is showing interest in foods, oatmeal is OK for babies. Before 12 mo the of age, food is just for a fun learning experience and is not meant to be a baby's only source of nutrition, of course. Up until 12 months of age, babies' main source of caloric and nutirent intake is to be breastmilk or formula, but you can begin introducing foods around 6 months, like oatmeal, fruits, veggies, even fully-cooked tender meats. Some people feel more comfortable with pureeing their baby's food until they have teeth, but you definitely don't HAVE to. Definitely research on how to safely feed a baby non-puree foods (for example, this channel is a fantastic resource for safe baby-led weaning advice!), but it CAN be SAFELY done! ❤
You do not give an infant solid food for at least one year and even longer . Food before one just for fun . Most infants do not have enough teeth to chew till 12 months plus their organs are not yet developed enough for solid food till at least 12 months . It's a disgrace that the AAP's guidelines for solid food are 4 to 6 months .

You do not feed an infant till at least 12 months for various reasons just breast or whole milk
