I like to do fried egg strips for babies! You can also do a steamed egg or scrambled eggs. I would suggest breaking the yolk and spreading it throughout the white so that your baby gets to try both the yolk (has the iron and fats that are important for brain development) and the white (has the protein).
@@babyledweaningI have started fried egg n my my baby loved it thanks....coz full egg has its own benefit.....we sud give food which is gud for brain rather than giving carbohydrates
I gave my baby a Gerber teether melt (a big cracker) and he choked on it cuz the big piece broke off. How’s he gonna eat the chuck roast or piece cauliflower at 7 months? So confused
My baby is 6 months adjusted to due date in 4 days, but she cant sit unsupported, doesnt seem to be interested in adult food, does not have the tendency to pick up things and put in her mouth except her fingers, appetite is still the same, not more. So I am wondering if waiting for the signs that she is ready can be late. Should I just go ahead and feed her puree? She can sit in her highchair with the table helping to keep her upright.
Early on they really don’t eat much and that’s typical. Babies need lots of time to learn HOW to eat and playing with food is actually part of the whole sensory experience that is learning how to eat. Hang in there, he will get the hang of it soon!
My baby is 20 weeks but able to sit up for a few minutes without support and can sit with support for a long time, he can bring his hands to his mouth and is showing interest in food… is that too early to start? You always mention 6mo.
You can start anywhere from 4 to 6 months. It’s just that at 6 months nearly all babies are at least somewhat ready for solid foods, but there are some that are ready before that mark. Just check with your paediatrician, but I’m sure he won’t object.
You do not want to give a baby solid food before 12 months even teo years as they did in past times ,they usually don't have enough teeth till at least one year to chew food . Their digestive organs are not developed till at least 12 months . The AAP guidelines are terrible . They also have the TTR tongue trust reflex they will kick the food back out before one year . Remember the old saying"Food before one just for fun "
Babies do not get enough iron or zinc or vitamin D from breast milk. By 6 months of age their iron and zinc stores from birth are run out so they need to get it from food. Your advice could make a baby anemic, among other issues.
Nonsense , not enough teeth, organs not developed enough for food, they will kick food back out tongue thrust reflex again , "food before one just for fun" @@zarashental
Again, they don't even have enough teeth to chew at 6mo , organs aren't ready for food they will kick food out because they are not ready it's called the tongue thrust reflex , not true at all. Can't chew without teeth ridiculous @@catherinethompson6531

Their gag reflex is high when they’re small so sometimes it looks like choking but it’s just them learning how to eat
Did he choke or gag?

My baby rarely eats much of the food I serve him. He plays with it but doesn’t put it in his mouth
