It's actually "BC Place" (and I've been to that, too.) 2) Commonwealth Stadium (hey, I've been to that one too!) in Edmonton wasn't expanded, it actually shrank in capacity during 2013 renovations. The new seats are wider than the old seats. It used to hold 60,080. 3) Commonwealth isn't the biggest in Canada. It's still Olympic Stadium in Montreal, which has 56,040 seats (221 more than Commonwealth).
Actually the OAKA Stadium (Greece's largest) during the renovations for the olympics was reduced to 62000, but in its maximum has a record attendance of 81000 in domestic football league game. Yeah, a stadium build in 460bc is the largest in Greece and it hosts the Classic Marathon Run every year
