- Precice2 is a method recently used in limb lengthening surgery, which includes a self-extending magnetic nail. Interacting the remote control with the magnets in the nail, the distraction process is done to 0.33mm 3 times a day (0,99 mm a day). Up to 15 cm in length can be gained by undergoing 2 separate surgeries.

My second question is, is it accurate that the extended portion of the leg becomes thinner post-recovery, compared to its original state? Is precise nailing of tibia weightbearing from 1st day post op?
Hello, it is advised that patients should weigh up to 50 - 60 kg so that Precice nails will not be damaged so easily with the given loads. In the first 4 months, our doctor does not recommend patients to give too much weight to the legs.
