The issue with keeping stock parts, is you have to find a place to store them. But it's definitely best to keep and sell the car with OEM parts then sell the aftermarket parts, just a pain to have to store all the stock stuff.
Totally agree! It was a pain to find space to store parts and especially a stock exhaust. I got lucky where when u repurchased the stock parts it wasn't an arm and leg.

What’s does Versailles have to do with your M3?
Being completely honest. After spending a lot of time researching exhaust setups, the ONLY secondary exhaust to stock that sounds remotely good is the M Performance exhausts. The aftermarket ones that i have heard, including the one put onto this particular car, are what sound boy racer and shitty to me. Stock Comp exhaust sounds way better..and I have an agency power on my e46 M3... I can't stand the backfiring going to a stop light, it's excessive and over the top. A little bit of popping is great, and the M Perf pushes that to the absolute tolerable limit, while creating a nice growl. All of the other aftermarket ones sound shit.
Yeah and that's fine, exhaust tones are very subjective to the person and how they perceive things. Thankfully there's so many different brands out there creating different products. It allows us to mix and match and see which town works. I personally definitely like my awe switch path set up with the Active Autowerke equal length mid pipe.
