The prices are utterly terrible in Ohio. It’s almost 3 to $400 to buy an ounce of some basic mid shelf stuff whereas in Michigan you can get top shelf stuff for 300 an ounce and you can get the stuff you get in Ohio for about 80 bucks an ounce.
Not to mention, what's being sold as rec. in Ohio is the "medical" they are having trouble pushing or about to expire. Concentrates are worse than the flower, by far though.
@ it’s really sad. The people who lose in Ohio with recreational cannabis are the medical patients because now their prices have been driven sky high. And the quality is not that great.
Ohio just recently got into the legal ganja game, so calm down, take a breath & chill for a minute. Less mature market states such as Ohio need a bit more time than only 3 months to increase the competition & innovation in order to cause wholesale prices to decrease on the same level as other states like Michigan are in right now. I agree Michigan definitely has their shlt together more than many other states around the country. But, if you're a true blooded Buckeye fan from O-H... The last place you'd really wanna give your business too would be the Michigan Blue Wolverines state, right or wrong? Just saying... 🤔 The mile high state of Colorado is were I'd get my dope from all the time if I had my pick of the liter & CO wasn't so far away from us here in Ohio. Let's keep it a buck ya dig? ++Peace Funk & Rock n' Roll 4 Your Soul My Friends++ 🤘😜🤘
My problem with Ohio is the non combustion law. I go to Michigan for pre rolled goods. There’s still a strong black market in Ohio of cheap Michigan weed as well
Could it be the fact that all of the finished product you showed is garbage, mid at best. That is a representation of the quality availabe and i can assure you michigan just does it better.
Oh, look! They're reporting the same thing the general population has been reporting since Ohio passed the legal marijuana law. I'm glad to see the media finally catching up to the public on reporting the news.
Idk about the rec but the too tier Ohio medical nuggs are the best i’ve seen between Ohio, Mich, and esp Oregon. Real deal pot heads that have had Ohio medical have told me the same, i’ve been smoking for 25 yrs. Quality isn’t the problem in Ohio
Granted Michigan has a fine selection of high quality ganja you can get for sure. Plus, being it's only a hop, skip & a jump away from Ohio helps too! But let's not act like Michigan is the end all be all powerhouse state that overseceeds anywhere else in this world my friends. Just saying... For example places like BC & Jamaica are 2 destinations where I'd buy all my dope from if legally given the opportunity to buy from without any worry. Let's keep it a buck here ya dig? ++Peace Funk & Rock n' Roll 4 Your Soul My Friends++ 🤘😜🤘
No pre rolls and insane prices will drive rec and med patients to different markets it’s pretty simple everyone handling this works slow as molasses it’s a slap in our faces of what we voted for !
Ohio is anal retentive Let people grow it for themselves. Let them become business owners Not the head of a cannery - get got money. Let someone else get some. I work for me.
@susannpatton2893, Granted you, me & most other Ohio citizens may not be able to become legal marijuana business owners, stressing the word "legal" if you dig what I'm saying. However, almost everyone of us in the state of Ohio over 21 are allowed to grow our own dope if we want too! After recently passing the Issue 2 bill into Ohio law we're now legally allowed to grow up to 6 plants a year. Which is more dope than you need or think you'll need if you have a pretty decent green thumb & know how to grow. Even if you have the skills & can get ahold of the best seeds there are to grow. We still don't have the ability to grow the quality of weed there is in other parts of the world today no matter how hard we try. At least not living in our own house or property in the state of Ohio anyways. There are too many differences in climate & cultivation areas in comparison to what we have in Ohio. Even if you have a kick-azz hydroponic system to grow your own shlt. It still won't be on the same level as some of the dope they grow in Humboldt County, Northern Cali. Just saying... Let's keep it a buck! ++Peace Funk & Rock n' Roll 4 Your Soul My Friends++ 🤘😜🤘
I'll get in my car and travel from Butler Pa across I-80 in Ohio all the way to Monroe Michigan. I'll never go to Youngstown Ohio or anywhere else in jOke-hio. Love ya Michigan.
Ohio prices are way too high and they won't pay the proper prices to employees who are paid to grow the bud so they won't stay long or be motivated to grow good Buddha so folks will just go to Michigan take the drive and the nice prices Ohio's program just sucks too greedy and nothing for the actual people
I remember when Mike dewine was dead set against Marijuana an said OHIO DOESNT NEED OR WANT TAX MONEY ! FROM MARIJUANA but now LOOK how GREEDY MIKE DEWINE AN OHIO ARE NOW . Greed rules OHIO
Chardon Ohio, ounce for 120$ of some dank shit! Why would I ever step foot into a dispensary. Plus we can grow. Utilize the land everyone, don't give any money to the laundering.
And then we have politicized dispensaries that quietly refuse lower income medical marijuana card holders service . often by misbehaving . It's Because they get a lot more money selling the same item as recreational so they'd rather get these sick often low income people out of their stores . And hes gkt it backwards. there's plenty of average busch beer grade. Bottom rung half ounces On shelves in northeast Ohio but no craft brews with excellent cannabinoids .

It's very concerning how many people are using and especially how much they are consuming.. it's not good for people especially our youth and young adults. Very limited legitimate medicinal use. Recreation? Yeah right.. wreckreation, time will tell and reveal how this is a bad decision.
Tell that to one of the longest recorded used on every place on this plant and used in so many medical ways, Get over urself and maybe before saying it’s bad for kids see what the pharm and food industry in usa is willing to push on kids/everyone. cannabis for many issues like seizures is a huge thing or cancer . it’s the person and parents choice and the big pharm choices u tell me with their proof it’s def bad majority of them vs cannabis

Im going to Michigan, i purchased here in ohio and i was literally robbed, never again
Overpriced and over controlled……the Michigan experience is where it is at!
It will take Ohio years to meet up with Michigan
I'll be surprised if it ever catches up w/ Michigan. I don't think DeWine and company want that to happen.

Just go to Michigan
Just like Illinois, lots of people go to Michigan from there, Illinois dispensary are too expensive and the tax too high. 🤷
Glad its ok now and you can make the shit up as you go 🎉❤🎉
Go to Michigan 3-4x cheaper, more to offer, and better quality.

Charging 5x as much as Michigan?
I know gummies are about 4-5x more in Ohio
