My wife bought me one for my b-day and I absolutely love it. Photos and videos do not do this design justice. In the sun light it's truly stunning. When I had the bracelet fitted to my wrist the watch tech explained how the bezel works while diving (everyone should know this is a diver first) and it was then that I appreciated the large triangle at the end of the minute hand. Initially, I too thought it was a bit much. However, underwater the diver will easily see how much time has elapsed from the start of their dive based being able to quickly locate the minute hand and the location of the bezel triangle. This is all about functionality.
I own the non-chronograph model, the Glashütte Original SeaQ Panorama Date. One of the primary issues I've noticed with the SeaQ Chronograph model is its increased thickness. However, the design elements like the large hands and distinct hour markers in my watch greatly enhance its legibility, making time reading easy.
