    I'm with you on this watch. Lots of sterling "reviews" on RUclips, but at the end of the day, you know there was no design or thought put into the watch. It's a clomage. A decently well built one. But there are watches that excite us more for similar prices from Seiko and others which are at least original pieces

    • @adventureswithtime
      @adventureswithtime  8 месяцев назад

      Yes, but some people think Seiko watches have gotten too expensive. What do you think?

      @@adventureswithtime Depends on the what Seiko you are talking about. Entry level automatics no not at all. The LX line with the spring drive movement, again no not at all. Price is all relative to what you can afford. Typically people who say a watch is to expensive one cant afford regardless, two say that cause they cant afford or three dont truly understand the watch and what makes the price it is.

    Yes I agree. The watch design aesthetic is very Generic Tudor. But what a fine looking watch. Dial, titanium case and bracelet. And for this price point will exceed expectations for the quality that Seestern produces. So its a 👍 from me.

    I've this watch . I like titanium as you can color it with a torch . With most you can get from a straw to gold to silver blue to vibrant blue to deep purple and slight red tones . I carefully and intentionally got mine to a nice silvery blue with some bits straw and the clasp area kinda tie die mix of it all and I'm especially pleased with this watch . Nice and slim also . Great fit . I also would note that I wouldn't be soo comfortable doing this to a much more pricey Swiss titanium watch .

      Lot's of people have been commenting that it is a copy of a boring watch (aka Pelagos). Do you agree?

      @@adventureswithtime I don't mind an "homage" at all but am rather glad for them . I'm very happy with it . I'm wearing it right now . Yeah , I wouldn't call it a copy .

    I don't own this watch or any other China watches, but it's always seems funny for me hear about this "cheap lifeless copy of Tudor, Rolex etc", while Tudor for all it's history was knockoff of Rolex & Submariner is just a homage of Blancpain for example lol. What more interesting I think is what this China clomage watches gives you for it's money. Just wondering where's it will be going in the future.
    Also it's a little bit funny how around 10-15 years ago no one cares about Tudor, but then Rolex just turn on marketing machine & now Tudor everywhere on youtube lol.

      Do I take it that you not a fan of Rolex either; which is OK? Do you own a Blancpain?

    Guess that's what you end up with when you "homage" a watch that isn't all that interesting to begin with? I've never been a fan of the Tudor hand-sets, and the look of the Pelagos is "meh" to me right out of the gate, with no real visual appeal. So a "meh" copy of a "meh" watch equals no interest at all from me.

  • @daleyfamily2179

    By definition, Homage is a term that is defined as" respect or honor" or" something that is done to honor someone or something." In watch terms, a 'homage' watch is a watch whose design takes inspiration from an existing timepiece, with some visual similarities to pay homage. This is in no way homage. Its copy/fake. Changing a name to avoid be labeled and fake is disingenuous at best.

    • @adventureswithtime
      @adventureswithtime  8 месяцев назад

      I'm not sure I would call it a fake as they are not selling it as a real Tudor. But I see your point about this perhaps being a pure copy.

    Another perspective to consider is that not everyone who can appreciate the Tudor Pelagos has $5K to plunk down. So, if you find yourself in that sad circumstance what do you do? Buy a Timex?

    • @adventureswithtime
      @adventureswithtime  7 месяцев назад
