Megan, As a former Barista you MAYYY want to buy a temp strip to stick to the side of the milk cup, temp is VERY important in lattes also the tamp is a great idea just DONT press super hard, just a little push let the weight of the tamp help, DONT PACK. it will affect the pull of the shot.
As I was watching you make your macaroons, I was wondering if Mennonites observe Lent-ie, a period of preparation before Easter with fasting, abstinence from meat on Fridays, prayer, almsgiving. I’m a tea drinker. I recently found an herbal tea that is naturally blue and turns purple when you add lemon! I immediately hit Amazon for some clear tea cups so I could really enjoy the color! 😊
Your door basket is so pretty Megan. I love door decor other than a wreath. Also the way you did your potatoes is the way I do my boiled eggs. Bring them to a full rolling boil then turn off the heat and let them set covered for 15 minutes. They will be perfect. Have a wonderful afternoon. ❤

It's good to see a young mom homemaking. My son was so easy about naps. If I was working in kitchen and he got tired, I would find him asleep on the floor. He didn't whine or tell me, he'd just lie down and sleep. Was I a Bad mom? Not on purpose.

I just started a new hobby too. I bought a French Press coffee maker and a coffee bean grinder. It’s been fun learning how to do it. My husband and I don’t drink the fancy drinks, but I do feel fancy making my French Press every morning.

Yay, what a treat!! I am a coffee drinker, usually iced cold brew, but we do have a Breville Bambino for espresso and hot lattes. Some of my fav coffee content comes from Morgan Drinks Coffee, James Hoffman, and Seattle Coffee gear. You’re going to have so much fun!!
I remember trying to get one of my kids off that morning nap. I would put her in her room with some toys thinking maybe she would just play but I would always find her sleeping on the floor!
I have a Nespresso machine it makes single or double shots and does iced coffee quite well, but it does it all from pods. I'm the only coffee drinker in the house, and only drink 1 cup a day, and this is MUCH cheaper than the usual expresso machines! I'm enjoying it greatly.
I’m an iced coffee kind of girl, no fancy latte’s, etc. I make my own at home, using a coffee concentrate as my base. My go to is a peppermint mocha, made with coffee concentrate, chocolate almond milk, a little chocolate syrup, and some peppermint mocha coffee creamer. Very good!
I am not a coffee drinker, I love tea. But the smell of coffee is wonderful to me!! I like your lighthearted door bouquet, very nice! I'm going to make those nest cookies, my kiddos will love them!! ❤️

I have a small espresso machine and learning the technique was super fun. I decided that depending on the caffeine was a bad habit and now only really have a coffee. So I had to get over the need and the coffee cup sayings that I needed it. I'm don't need it, is just fun.

No coffee around here. My husband is so hot natured he can't stand hit drinks or even soups! I just don't like the smell so not even tempted to taste it. I prefer tea, but I go in spells drinking a cup or two a day and then none at all for weeks. We did have a coffee pot for company to use once, but I wound up using it for my tea until we got an electric kettle, and a coffee pot is the perfect temp for warming baby bottles in. So that thing got way more use than we ever anticipated.
