    Great channel, almost feels like a family sit com, after school special u want to hurry home and watch. Other channels are to official when describing trails or fixes, they feel too profesional like ur watching an instructional manual. Thx for the very personable channel makes it fun to watch.
    Awsome work kepn it real!

    since you replaced entire driveshaft, did you need to mark any areas with whiteout or paint for aligning purposes? i'm assuming not?

    Replace u joints with greaseable ones, when trail fixing or buying non oem ones

    • @66Duffman
      @66Duffman  3 года назад

      I believe stock u joints are also greasable👏🏻

    What about if your drive shaft came apart at the middle?

  • @toddhoffmaster6057
    @toddhoffmaster6057 7 месяцев назад

    Funny that you dissed on the aluminum driveshafts, cause that is what comes on the Tundra. Ask me how I know and when the u-joint goes it usually messes up the bearing caps c-clip holders.

    How much did yours cost? On my 2nd Gen I had a 2nd gear shutter. Toyota charged me $1385 to replace driveshaft. Got recall notice in mail a month later. Got my $1385 back!

    • @66Duffman
      @66Duffman  3 года назад +1

      850 after tax

      I got charged a lot for labor then. Glad I got it all back. The only paid out of pocket repair other than maintenance was $300 for them to replace a hub. Not bad for a 14 1/2 year old truck. It had 249K when I traded in for the 2020. After a tune it drives like it is supposed to.

    • @66Duffman

      Not bad at all for that old of a truck…definitely gets much more expensive when you start adding in labor cost
