All the Volbeat members are awesome , but the biggest part of it and what make them unique is the singer , Micheal Poulsen and is incredible vocal melodies...
Its no secret that Volbeat is heavy influeced by Metallica, they also did several warm ups for Metallica. but still got their own sound, going with it..

Volbeat's cover of _Don't Tread on Me_ just might be the best contribution on that Blacklist album. I like Ghost's cover, too. But Volbeat's might be better. 🤘
My favorite Volbeat song is a newer one called _Shotgun Blues._ I don't know what it is, but it just captured my attention immediately. I got to see them live this year and they were AMAZING!!

you have to know that guitar solo was introduce with Rob Caggiano (Anthrax) in the recent albums... Old volbeat was more build on riffs, NO solo at all.
