Loved this video! I love vintage books, especially when there are notes in them indicating they were previously gifted! One vintage book I have was gifted to someone in 1907! I feel like I shouldn't even touch the book when I do!
What a lovely idea to have a collection of 2nd hand and vintage books instead of cards for your baby shower! Books I remember as a child ‘The Wind in the Willows’ which my Dad started reading to me at bedtime, but which I have never read in full either and recently have started reading. Also ‘101 Dalmatians’ and ‘The Starlight Barking’ as well as all of the Famous Five books, my favourite of which were ‘Five go down to the sea’ and ‘Five go off in a caravan’ I also loved a book called ‘Once upon a Rainbow’. The books about Brambly Hedge - Spring Summer Autumn and Winter and and from before that ‘Brer Rabbit, and the Enchanted Wood The dresses you were gifted are gorgeous - I especially liked the white and blue one, both so pretty and the top you were wearing looked quite vintage in style too - very nice
Ahh so many nostalgic books! I remember reading the Famous Five books but I don’t remember them very well. It’s The Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton that sticks in my memory the most out of all of her books.

LOVED this content! What lovely frames you got! They would look very nice clustered any of those places. It was very touching to see Ivy's ultrasound in a frame, so sweet. Every little girl has to have a copy of Anne Of G.G. Every child has to have The House At Pooh Corner. 😊 I just re-read Anne a few wks. ago. I keep a copy of The House At Pooh Corner on my reading table when I'm needing to be comforted after a bad or painful day. Just read A little bit. I enjoyed this very much and enjoy book, anything bookish, resale shop finds. Your new dresses are gorgeous! Enjoy wearing them. With a new baby you NEVER have to explain. 🤗

Love the dresses! They really fit you! 🌼🌼🌼 I've just read Wind in a willows few weeks ago for the first time. It's a nice little story. I LOVE Enid Blayton books. I was opsessed with Famous five and Adventure series when I was a kid. Now I'm rereading them with my children and they love the stories just as much as I did. And that is the measure of a good book. ☺️
