For anyone who needs to export this to Unity, its a little different. You can't use any modifiers because they don't transfer from Blender to Unity. Instead, you still make the simpler mesh around the shoe and automatic weight bind it to the armature, but then you transfer the weights from the simple mesh to the complex one.

Just note if the face normals are all pointing in the correct direction this problem is dramatically reduced.
If you still need to use this solution you can use a simple shape ( 10 or so faces) to block out and enclose the original shoe shape then go through the process as described and everything will compute a thousand times faster:)

great information i just have one question when we want to export any animation for the game engine. does the shoe mesh automatically convert or do we need any other process for exporting shoe mesh?
I am not sure if this is the best way for game engine. You can try transfer weight modifier for this case.

Is there a possibility for this rig to work outside the blender, only with the mesh weight?
thank you for your comment...Actually, I am not sure it can work outside blender because the weights are not applied directly to the original mesh. but you can try to add data transfer modifier (transfer weights from the bounding mesh to the shoes mesh) and apply it before testing it outside blender...Good luck and let me know if it works.
