Although I can't understand anything(because I can't speak French) this tutorial is quite pleasing and relaxing. The sounds of the paper combined with the very sexy language of the french people could easily make this video an ASMR one

J'ai une question si j'utilise une epaisseur de feuille de papier normal mais en 70×70 au lieux d'un papier fin est ce que ça marchera quand même ou ça sera trop epais ?
thats gonna be pretty much impossible 50cm is the recommended size anything smaller than that will make it even more difficult u can only make the crease pattern inthat kind of size when it goes to the folding part itll be so small itll be hard to fold it because of how small it is
You can take a 50 by 50 cm sheet of paper if it is 30g/m2. If your paper is thick, you must use minimum a 70 by 70 cm paper. Sorry for the english, i'm french... Thank you for subscribe !

+studio origami oh ok, it would be quite a challenge indeed, and I was going to convert my 25 x 37 sqr in. Thai Unryu into a 17 x 17 sqr in. tissue foil but I ran out of foil so I just cut it into 25 x 25, but thanks for answering anyway! It's cool :-)

Because a 50x50 cm paper only makes a model about 1/3 of that size. With a paper that small, you'll shit brix all over.

you forgot to show the diagnol creases because when you go to part 2 there are suddenly diagnol creases which you need to make the head

Has anyone made this with a 8.5 inches x 8.5 inches of paper?
You can try, but it will be very complex to fold it with a little sheet of paper. Take a bigger square to fold it ( 50cm minimum).
