Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

Rage is actually one of the easier emotions to act convincingly because there are less subtleties than something like a crying scene. Lalo took everyone for a ride in Season 6. His very presence showed us a side of Gus we never saw before.
Also, the fact that Gus planted the gun in the lab just shows that Gus respected Lalo enough that he didn’t discount the possibility of him bypassing Mike’s defences and discovering the lab.

The other thing that I think is clever about this is that if Lalo had called Mike and told him he had a gun pointed at Kim & Jimmy, Mike would have likely reacted very differently, and been a lot more suspicious, specifically because it was Lalo saying it, but by sending Kim, he used her to disarm Mike's sixth sense, and convince him where he was.

Imagine the folks back in the day after they finish breaking bad (just got into the series now on youtube, literally this month) and just as the series has concluded, somone thought of making "you better called saul" (i was told it was out during breaking bad) but it feel like a filler to me
And yet it one of the few "fillers" that really make it as a exclusive "behind the scene" situation.
Like its all episodes that couldn't make the final cut of breaking bad, these are episodes that couldnt be focus on at the moment.
So to add them in the "you better call saul" moment, while not breaking any kind of continuity is really the chief kiss here
