@@XOMaCenna, so happy you've moved to Texas! Just saw your post about things you're interested in for your new home. The prices you are finding are normal in the antique shops, however, you're only a couple weeks away from the semi-annual Round Top Antique Show in Round Top/Warrenton TX. You are probably already aware of this, but I'll continue for those who don't.
There will be thousands of dealers in stand-alone businesses and tents, with goods from all over the world at prices you'll like a lot better. There are more antique door dealers than you'll have time to visit, plus all the other sites. I think visiting the tents is more fun because you never know what you'll find. I'm a retired dealer myself but would be happy to share any information you might want. Shopping here is an unforgettable experience! You and your mom would love it! Hope you can come.

I love the thrift flips and the commercail for that machine integrated into the video really seamlessly.

The cabinet turned out really nice. That inside wood was so nice I think I would have taken the paint off instead of repainting. The color of paint you used is really beautiful.
I would have done the same. You can always paint it later if the wood texture isn't as good as you thought.
Same I would have loved to make it the same color as the inside and have some black metal details
It was so nice to see someone recover a chair with fabric that actually looked amazing when finished. Pretty much every time I see someone do this on RUclips I am cringing when they proudly show off their final result. Yours turned out perfectly. Beautiful.

That knob redo was genius! Never would've thought to do that.
I painted some delicate patterns on my boring ikea knobs with a gold paint marker. Super quick and easy if you don’t have a cricut...

So wonderful to see you still doing three flips and some DIYs while you're at your parents! I am a mother and I have a 31-year-old daughter who I can't spoil because she's been in the Navy's and she was 18 and now is an officer in the Navy stationed in Japan, so I don't get to see her :-( but if you were my daughter and you did that amazing job on those chairs, which you did an amazing job on those chairs 😲😍❣️👏👏👏❣️ as your mother I would 110% give you those chairs for your new house, I would not be able to watch you do that job until it's so fabulously and keep them myself just not possible for me 😉❣️❣️ either way they turned out absolutely amazing and you did a wonderful job, you should be so proud of yourself 🤗💘❣️👍❣️ I cannot wait to watch you do the cottage and then your own house It's going to be absolutely fabulous I just know it is, because that's mother's we know these things 🤭❣️❣️❣️

I was a screen printer for many years, and have printed thousands of mugs. Turn the mug (and image) upside down. The image just becomes shapes and it’s much easier to apply it straight. It helped me when I was setting up the machine, so I think it would work in this application. Hope that makes sense. Loved these projects! They all turned out beautifully! Those chairs!💜😍

Old hardware (particularly hinges) that’s been painted can be stripped by simmering in water in a pot reserved for craft (non-food) usage.
