This might sound funny, but I found this to be such a respectful, encouraging video. You are so respectful of those of us who don’t have a lot of money but still want to live with pretty things. This is a perfect, beginner friendly tutorial for those of us who’d like to try salvaging something even though we don’t have fancy tools or multiple products. This is why you’re my favorite Angie!
@irishlady, I like your description of this project. The idea of caring for less expensive peices and showing ways to refinish without a lot of equipment is so helpful.

What a cute little piece, and this video is a great reminder that something doesn't have to be solid wood or expensive to be useful and pretty. This little cabinet still has a little life left in her and I'm sure that whomever ends up with her will be thrilled. Thanks for showing us that just about anything can be saved.
This is what I do a lot of. I choose pieces that won’t be high end but when I am finished they are clean, serviceable and hopefully, fun. I usually gift to those who need a piece of furniture and can’t afford something new or upscale. Thanks for reminding us that anything can be reimagined and reused.
Years ago I had a cat, Frisbee. I opened a beer bottle one day and the cap skittered down the hall. She took off, grabbed it, came back and dropped at my feet. We played that game for the next 14 years.
I love that you reused the staples, because a heavy-duty staple gun can be pricey, and if we're keeping to the budget idea, that's a great tip. Also the love you gave to the legs. My brother is a custom cabinetmaker, and whenever there's a piece in the trash with really nice, wooden or metal legs, he's trained the whole family to run out and grab them, because they often are the only things worth salvaging and can make lots of other pieces look terrific.
I try to reuse and repurpose everywhere I can. Anything I can save is a win! Your brother is a smart man enlisting family help, I love it! Thank you so much for watching! 🙂
Half the reason I watch your channel is your kindness. Whether you are showing others at all skill levels and pocket books how they too can have something beautiful - or rescuing bunnies - or saving the planet by saving old furniture from the landfill, your kindness is a beautiful thing. Of course the other reason I watch is the jaw dropping furniture makeovers!!! Your creativity and skill are amazing!
Great tips throughout! The nails to reinforce the bondo was a new one I'll definitely try. Cannot wait for the warmer weather to come so I can work on my projects as the garage is a refuge for the car during the cold and snow. Nacho is one very talented cat!
Isn't he great? He's so smart! He was so excited to show everyone what he could do. 😊😺 I'll cross my fingers for warmer weather for you too so you get your work space back. Thanks for watching!
Me, too. I had to rebuild a missing corner section like that years ago on a Lane table I thrifted for $6. It's held up on my over sized bedside table for 25 years without nails to reinforce the patch but I will definitely keep that in mind for future projects.
@@TranscendFurnitureGallery Hey I just wanted to chime in that my daughter has a cat that looks a lot like your Nacho, with the same beautiful reddish marbling in his coat! Would you believe his name is also Nacho? I got his sister, Punkin and she inherited the fetching trick from their mom, while Nacho didn’t. How funny is that? If I could send you a picture of them I would just so you could see how similar they look. 😁 With any luck I’ll be prepared to tackle a couple of my wooden furniture projects when it warms up here. I have only one dresser from my grandmother’s set that I inherited, which needs some TLC, but I was afraid to do anything with it until now. I’m really loving your videos and learning so much. Thank you.! I also love the bunny intermissions those are wonderful! ❤️🥰
I've been wondering how to replace a downstairs bathroom vanity with the very type of damage that you fixed with bondo here. Our vanity is original to, and a great style for, our house. Tomorrow morning I will go look at it again with new eyes. The tips and ideas in this video seem accessible to us who don't have a lot of experience or special tools and who want or need to be frugal. Watching your art and skills being put to use brings hope and joy to us, too.
Such a freakin talent! You actually turned a turd into something that someone would love to have in their home especially on a budget. And you added interest to the peace by painting the backboard the way you did. Added interest to the bookshelf. Excellent teaching video for those on a budget. What a wonderful reminder that just because something is older or a little on the cheaper side and worse for wear, it can still be transformed into something perfectly attractive and functional. I think it turned into a cute little piece that anyone would be happy to display in their home. Thank you Angie, for saving another one from being thrown away, when it just needed a little TLC.
I really love that you've shown how to refurnish cheaper pieces in realistic ways! It's awesome to save usable stuff like this from the trash. Hopefully you're able to fit in more content like this sometime :)
It's great that you also addressed the ways to save a little money on the supplies. Also, I can't tell you how often I'll see a piece that's either been discarded or thrifted and think "Ooo, I wonder what Angie would do to bring this back to life!" I love the way you take these sad things and turn them into furniture again. It’s amazing how much your very simple tape geometric elevates this bookcase. The color is gorgeous! The care you take with the furniture you work on is one of my favorite things to watch.🌸

@@TranscendFurnitureGallery thank you! I always look forward to your videos, Angie. I’m really glad you’re sharing your gifts and talents with all of us. I appreciate you, too.🌸
I NEVER thought of using automotive body filler for filling chunks! What a clever trick! Beautiful job on this piece, by the way! And thanks for sharing thrifty ways to upscale a beat up piece of lower-quality furniture!
That geometric design really helps pull in the darker wood tone of the legs, really elevates the piece . Such a good reminder that we can fix and repair a piece no matter how “cheap” and make it fresh for years to come
Angie, you are such a gem. You've given us a gift by showing how to take a super inexpensive piece, save as much of it (including staples!) as possible, make a cute design with simple masking tape, and stain wood with coffee, for a great result. As you said, there is no shame in needing to budget, and you have made it into an art here.
This was a delightful process! Your design for the back piece (I call it 'backerboard'), definitely kicked it up a few levels. Subtle yet so very effective. Initially I was thinking it could be handy shoe storage but the finished piece made me decide it would also be a lovely addition to a foyer, dining room, Great Room, etc. Beautiful work, as always.
Considering what this piece looked like before, it is still a jaw dropping transformation. And thanks for doing it with many items that are either inexpensive or easy to source for everyone that doesn't think they can have "nice stuff"! A total 10!
Another AMAZING job!! Watched this twice. It was so kind of you to donate it, shows you go beyond saving the "unsalvageable". As always, I love the outcome. Super great that you gave instructions for those of us without power tools and a professional workshop like yourself. Angie, you are the best!!
Although this piece may be small, the transformation is still incredible. It’s amazing what a little imagination and some paint can do to something that may be looked over because of its flaws. You did an awesome job and I have no doubt someone will love this piece!💕
I came for the furniture but I stay for the kitties 🐈 and bunnies 🐰. Nacho playing fetch made my day. My cat did that when she was young, she loved to fetch hair ties.
I felt it was important to show people what can be done with the extra beat up ones. Pieces don't have to be wood to be beautiful. I'm so glad you enjoyed how it turned out. Nacho says thanks for the love, as he goes flying by chasing something. 😺😊
I will definitely put a collection of vintage teacups and saucers on this wonderful mini bookshelve. This find isn't our actual piece that we're used to seeing but we thank you for another restoration and who ever receives it, they're lucky to have it.
You are right, even if it was standing on a side of the road, I would not have picked this up. But what an amazing job you have done. It actually looks like a solid wood and it will have many more years of good use. Thank you. Love the clip of Nacho. He is so adorable.
I somehow missed this one’s original release. The way you can do significant repairs and they’re undetectable in the finished piece is a true gift. My niece is moving into a dorm for college & I bought 2 accent tables of different styles and am doing touch ups. I lack your awesome skills, so fingers crossed that I can channel the Angie vibe well enough to do Justice to the pieces. 🤞😂
Shows what almost anyone can do with a cheap, beat up shelving unit. I'm always impressed with your work. Kudos to you for painting the back. Too many refinishers (even ones here on RUclips) completely ignore the inside, bottom and back of furniture, they make the exterior look good, but the rest is still dirty and grungy.
I can't redo a piece and leave parts of it dirty and untouched. That's just not the way I do things. I do my pieces the way I'd want them done for inside my own home (and some of them are). Thank you so much for watching and the great comment!
I love how tidy and organised your space is. The cleaning moments, the care, the gentle attention. The money saving advice on using natural household items for cleaning and staining. You are a font of knowledge and inspiration.
This transformation is AMAZING! Angie, this video was so helpful! Everything you do is amazing, whether you paint or restore, but all the tips, the repairs needed for this piece are so valuable! The color you chose is so beautiful against the brown tones. The design on the back makes the piece look of high quality! This was a candidate for the ugly duckling challenge! Nacho is so cute and has an aborable naughty expression ! Thanks so much for sharing. I always enjoy your videos and learn new things.
Angie, that piece turned out really pretty. I love the color. It looked very bad in the beginning so great job on giving it a new life. Nacho, is adorable and quite the ball player. God bless.
As always, it IS a wow factor! Thanks for showing us that the cheap stuff can still be salvaged and made to look nice. I remember being the post college student on a budget many years ago. This is a perfect example of how to make things aesthetically pleasing on a small budget! ❤❤❤
This is such a great opportunity for my great-niece and I to start getting ready for her first apartment at University, while using the stuff that she was given!!! We agree that Nacho is as cute as ever and enjoyed him playing "fetch"!!! 😻❤😻
Love your thoughtful, practical and beautiful re-imagining of this little piece. She's so happy now, to have evolved dramatically with your vision and skill. Totally 'transcend'-ental.
While not a mind blowing experience, this little piece has interest, and is beautiful. I guess you could even say it has been "transcended!" Angie, you always do a lovely job!
Your videos are amazing not only showing items that still are salvageable to serve the purpose they were intented for but teaching folks a valuable hobby that they can enjoy doing ... I believe everyone needs a hobby 👍❤
So glad to see a video like this. Many people who would have thrown pieces like that out, might now also consider giving it a longer life this way. Thank you!
I like this for 3 reasons. This is something I can do, this is the type of furniture that is easy to find and affordable, and you turned it into something useful! Thank you for easing the burden on our landfills!
I was totally inspired by your tutorial today! You are a born teacher, Angie. Watching the transformation of this little piece in a straightforward, step by step way made the process of refinishing furniture look much less intimidating. We’re downsizing and will be moving soon to a mid-century modern house and I had planned to either donate or sell pieces of furniture that I’ve had for years because I want a more updated style. However, your demonstration today encourages me to take another look at the pieces I have and reimagine them to fit my new style. Thank you SO much! 👍
This is now a pretty piece that would be perfect in many a living room! Angie, you are making the world a better place, one item of furniture at a time.
It doesn’t matter the quality of the furniture you start with, whenever they are completed, they are world class! Your videos are amazing. I’m so inspired by your work. Blessings to you!
It turned out great for what it started as! I love that eucalyptus color, it’s so serene. You’re a good soul to donate the piece to raise money and we got a great lesson on saving money as well!
It's official and has been for a while now: I am addicted to your channel. You are at your best when you take what looks like a hopeless, cheap piece that most people would pass on and make it into something useful and beautiful. Cheap though it might have been for its time, this little cabinet might be better constructed than a number of things made today--it survived intact for this long! You also helped a good cause in the process. Beautiful work as always, and thank you for the Nacho moment: watching him fetch brought my beloved kitty back to life. He loved to fetch too!
It's ok - I won't tell anyone about your addiction. 😉 Thank you for the great comment and I'm so glad I could bring back some fond memories for you. ❤️
This piece turned out way better than I thought it would. Surprisingly, the geometric design actually distract your eye from the sagging shelf LOL. Nicely done!
Very, very nice! I hate seeing people throw these things away because yes, they can be transformed for someone else. They CAN be beautiful as well. Thanks for your work. Nacho is so sweet and he looked tuckered out chasing the little ball, lol.
I really love your calm, no nonsense demeanor as you explain all of the details to your process. As someone who worked as a furniture refinisher I appreciate you showing how to save pieces from ending up in landfills. It breaks my heart to see so many things go into the trash compactor on garbage day. We used bond to fill on occasion, but the embedded nails is something we never considered to prevent the filler from breaking away. I imagine small dowels or splints would do the same thing. The geometric pattern on the inside of the back really added to the finished piece. Job well done!
It is always a pleasure to watch your videos even if the piece is a modest bookcase. Thanks for the very detailed and pedagogical explanations. Congratulations on the makeover and your chanel.
Thank you for (1)being so very clear and thorough in your explanations and (2) recognizing that not all furniture restoration/repair is for the purpose of flipping for money. Sometimes the need is much closer to home.
I absolutely love it! Love that you took something that was this close 🤏 to garbage and gave it new life and a high-end look!! Love the stripe design you made too! Talk about an up cycle!!So beautiful 🤩 You are so talented and creative - I’m so impressed!❤ 💯 😻
There’s another RUclips channel where the artist would redo pieces that others would just throw away because they looked so bad. She would fix them up then donate them to kids who had aged out of foster care and were needing to set up their own homes. Another RUclips artist fixes her pieces up and donates them to charity to be resold for a higher amount than they would otherwise get. I think all of you are an inspiration because you show how a little paint and lots of elbow grease bring about great results. Thank you for sharing your talents! And I love Nacho. Orange kitties are my favorites!
That is terrific and very inspirational, because these are exactly the kind of pieces you're likely to find in charity shops or Freegle when you don't live in a wealthy area. No-one around me is throwing out solid wooden sideboards or mid-century coffee tables 😄 But knowing how to redecorate something made of chipboard and veneer could help furnish a home, or repurpose something from one room to another. You mentioned before that you sometimes get grief for doing a project on veneered furniture, and I'm so glad you ignore people who do that. You're the best!
Those people simply don't know what they're talking about, that's all! They've clearly not spent much time around furniture of any kind. Thanks so much for watching and I'm glad you're inspired by it! Best of luck on any future projects you may decide to undertake!
There are times in our lives - just starting to live on your own, job loss, divorce, retirement - where you have to pinch pennies. Trying to keep your space clean and cheerful really helps you weather those challenges. Love the reminder you don't have to spend a ton of cash to have a nice living space.
Exactly Maureen! Plus everything is so expensive these days, some of us can't afford to pay high end prices for furniture. Thanks so much for watching!
@@TranscendFurnitureGallery it's time the people who caused this mess solve it. Everything is incredibly inflated. I was incredibly lucky to be able to afford a condo. It's grubby and needs a ton of painting, but the owner left a bunch of tools and some awesome mid century pieces. I'm working on three projects now to have them finished before moving.
My heart exploded when I saw Nacho playing fetch. He is tooooooo cute. I love how resourceful you got for this one! I think the coffee stain on the legs turned out great. This little guy has a whole new life and someone will be so happy to have a cute little bookshelf that's more interesting than something right out of the store. Love it!
This turned out so pretty! I remember having stuff like this (pressboard) in the house growing up. Mom upgraded to solid wood items over time, but most of our stuff was like this until I was about high school age. I love that you were able to give it some more life!
Gotta love a cat who can fetch ! Way to go Nacho 🎉! This is a great tutorial for anyone who wants to rescue / rehab any piece of furniture ! I’ll save this one for sure , to recommend to people who say “ where do I start ?” Thanks Angie !
I love ALL your work. You are my inspiration . There is no one on you tube better than you. Your work is classic and just beautiful. I showed it to a furniture restorer that has been in business for over 50 years and she said you do excellent work. She told me not to use poly and try not to paint. I am so happy when you come out with new videos. I watch them over and over. I have a garage full of free furniture and will be starting once the weather gets warmer. I am a bit scared , don’t want to ruin things but will go slow and careful.
I love transformations like this, where a humble piece that is quite literally trashed can become a usable, attractive piece anyone would be happy to own and use. 👍
Absolutely adorable. I would definitely put that in my guest room. Thank you for showing beginner's an inexpensive way to start flipping or creating something for their own home.
I learn something new from each of your videos. You’re a great teacher and it’s actually relaxing to watch you work. So glad I found your channel because I’m helping my sister rehab her house on a very tight budget. We’ve found some bargain pieces that I’m redoing for her. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts and knowledge.❤
I love your appreciation for the situations people find themselves in. For someone who needs to really cut corners, and who is also handy, this can fill a need and also be a point of pride. I think it's absolutely lovely and the design on the back really elevates it.
I really appreciate that you share budget friendly solutions, too, Angie. You're really so skilled, everything you work on looks high end! This little shelf unit is making someone very happy, I'm sure. It's a really good lesson that you can still thrift pieces and make them look beautiful when you're on a tight budget. Just love watching your channel!
I appreciate your approach - thinking about what your audience might be able to do, as well as giving us videos where we can enjoy watching your skill on quality furniture
Though "BIG REVEALS" are great videos to watch, these videos are certainly very useful and more practical for many people who don't flip/salvage as a job or constant hobby. This is great for people just starting out on their own, just starting or trying out flipping, low-income people, or people just trying to conserve the money that would otherwise be spent on a new mdf future-dump piece. This is a great weekend project that looks very fun and do-able, not daunting or 'am I getting too deep into this?' inducing. Thanks Angie!
Hi Angie you have turned a very tired piece of middle of the road furniture into a little gem . as always you care in producing any item shines through , you do the best you can. The result is there for all to see.
It's very nice. What you did to the inside back is great. I know that many people would really love to have it. So many of you fix and donate pieces similar to this to charitable cases. It is so generous and much needed. Thank you! 💖
Super cute and useful little shelf unit. So helpful to get your quick fix tips -- things someone without a full workshop could do relatively easily. Very encouraging.
Thanks, Angie. There is value in a lot of things, whether it’s high in monetary value or not. I love that you show the reality - and I still enjoyed the makeover as much as any others!
You are one excellent and thoughtful teacher. I love the care and attention you gave this ugly duckling. You're so right not everyone can afford or have access to full wood furniture. This a new lease on life to these pieces.
Everything I watch, I get ideas. I have some flat pack shelves that I was going to toss. I have ideas that will save them and make people jealous. Thank you for sharing this project.
I love how this little guy turned out! Just bought some Eucalyptus FMP for a dresser I'm getting ready to do - such a pretty color! Nacho has gotten soooo big. Thanks for sharing him fetching the toy. Wish my kitties would do that, lol. Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful work with us! :)
It’s great for corners where the concern would be it getting knocked. Just be careful if you’re doing it into solid wood- nails can split the wood. I’d recommend using smaller nails or even pre-drilling for small screws… if it’s wood.
This piece turned out really pretty, and you did a great job explaining the process and the low cost supplies. That said, Nacho is the star of this video! How on earth did you teach him to fetch? My cats are the boss of me 😂. They tell me what to do…pet me, scratch me, I’m bored, etc. enough said.
With cats it seems to happen organically, the ones who want to fetch that is. You throw a toy for them and they think its fun so they bring it back to you and you throw it again. But then they have a lightbulb moment where they realize "Hey if I bring this back to Mom, she'll keep throwing it!" Thanks so much for watching!
This piece is SO cute! I think you're selling yourself a bit short. This is both a very nice piece, as well as a good save! I think a lot of people look at pressed wood furniture and turn up their nose at it. And, yes, it's cheap - but you can easily fix and customize them. You'd never know this was an El cheapo just by looking at it anymore.
Thank you for your practical advice. You made a piece of junk useful again. We have a cat who will catch tiny balls, but he won’t bring them back. I’ve never seen a cat bring back what was thrown. He’s adorable!
This might sound funny, but I found this to be such a respectful, encouraging video. You are so respectful of those of us who don’t have a lot of money but still want to live with pretty things. Another AMAZING job!! Watched this twice. It was so kind of you to donate it, shows you go beyond saving the "unsalvageable". As always, I love the outcome. Super great that you gave instructions for those of us without power tools and a professional workshop like yourself. Angie, you are the best!!
Thank you so much Christine!! 😊
This would be a perfect project for anyone on a budget, students, renters, or new DIYers. You gave this piece a new lease on life! Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!
Although this piece may be small, the transformation is still incredible. It’s amazing what a little imagination and some paint can do to something that may be looked over because of its flaws. You did an awesome job and I have no doubt someone will love this piece!💕
Thanks so much for watching!
You are so very kind and generous to donate so much to charity using your amazing talent. You are an inspiration.
Thank you so much!
I really like the backboard design…it took it up another level…made it more unique 😊
Thank you very much!
As a senior with several press board items in my eclectic space, it is nice to see that you can revive them with paint. Thank you so much!
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching!
I will definitely put a collection of vintage teacups and saucers on this wonderful mini bookshelve. This find isn't our actual piece that we're used to seeing but we thank you for another restoration and who ever receives it, they're lucky to have it.
Thanks for watching Mary!
You are right, even if it was standing on a side of the road, I would not have picked this up. But what an amazing job you have done. It actually looks like a solid wood and it will have many more years of good use. Thank you. Love the clip of Nacho. He is so adorable.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
OMGoodness and the cat breaks are divine!
Wow! Thank you so much! I'm so glad you're enjoying my content. 😀
I'm so glad you find my content helpful Sophia! Thanks so much for watching! 😺
Angie, that piece turned out really pretty. I love the color. It looked very bad in the beginning so great job on giving it a new life. Nacho, is adorable and quite the ball player. God bless.
Thanks so much!
As always, it IS a wow factor! Thanks for showing us that the cheap stuff can still be salvaged and made to look nice.
I remember being the post college student on a budget many years ago. This is a perfect example of how to make things aesthetically pleasing on a small budget!
❤❤❤
Thank you so much for watching!
This is such a great opportunity for my great-niece and I to start getting ready for her first apartment at University, while using the stuff that she was given!!! We agree that Nacho is as cute as ever and enjoyed him playing "fetch"!!! 😻❤😻
I'm so glad! Thank you so much for watching! 😺
Love your thoughtful, practical and beautiful re-imagining of this little piece. She's so happy now, to have evolved dramatically with your vision and skill. Totally 'transcend'-ental.
I like what you did there! Thank you so much for watching!
@@TranscendFurnitureGallery 😂
While not a mind blowing experience, this little piece has interest, and is beautiful. I guess you could even say it has been "transcended!" Angie, you always do a lovely job!
Thanks for watching!
Love the geometric design. So wonderful that it was saved and will go on to be used for years.
Thanks so much!
Your videos are amazing not only showing items that still are salvageable to serve the purpose they were intented for but teaching folks a valuable hobby that they can enjoy doing ... I believe everyone needs a hobby 👍❤
Thank you very much!
wow what a beautiful job you did again. I love the idea of what you did with the back wall. Love your work and videos and I love Nacho 😍😘
Thank you so much Connie!
So glad to see a video like this. Many people who would have thrown pieces like that out, might now also consider giving it a longer life this way. Thank you!
I'm glad I could help people look at pieces in a different light! 😊
Thank you for sharing how to transform cheaper furniture ❤
You're most welcome, I'm glad I could help! Thanks for watching!
I like this for 3 reasons. This is something I can do, this is the type of furniture that is easy to find and affordable, and you turned it into something useful! Thank you for easing the burden on our landfills!
I'm so glad you like it, that's exactly what I was going for with this piece. Thanks so much for watching!
Hope you enjoy your mid-century house! Great idea about the furniture, I will do the same.
See, I love that! I'm so glad I could give you some ideas Cindy! Thanks for watching!
You did it again! This is literally an example of "one man's trash is another's treasure." Great job!
Wow, thank you!
This is now a pretty piece that would be perfect in many a living room! Angie, you are making the world a better place, one item of furniture at a time.
Thank you very much!
It doesn’t matter the quality of the furniture you start with, whenever they are completed, they are world class! Your videos are amazing. I’m so inspired by your work. Blessings to you!
I'm very happy to hear that! Thanks so much for watching!
Furniture justice for all!!!
Thank you, Angie, for this very timely message and video.
You're very welcome Julie!
The stripping on the back panel was an excellent touch. Beautiful as always.
Thank you very much!
It turned out great for what it started as! I love that eucalyptus color, it’s so serene. You’re a good soul to donate the piece to raise money and we got a great lesson on saving money as well!
Thank you so much!
This is a great example of why you’re one of my favorite furniture restorers on YT!!! What a beautiful teaching video.
This piece turned out way better than I thought it would. Surprisingly, the geometric design actually distract your eye from the sagging shelf LOL. Nicely done!
Thanks for watching!
Very, very nice! I hate seeing people throw these things away because yes, they can be transformed for someone else. They CAN be beautiful as well. Thanks for your work. Nacho is so sweet and he looked tuckered out chasing the little ball, lol.
He'd have you believe he was tuckered lol. He'll actually fetch for quite a while before tapping out. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it! 😺
Wow! Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words. Much appreciated!
It is always a pleasure to watch your videos even if the piece is a modest bookcase. Thanks for the very detailed and pedagogical explanations. Congratulations on the makeover and your chanel.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for watching and your kind words. 😊
Thank you for the complete how-to !
If pieces of furniture are sentient, then this little one is a happy camper now, feeling pretty and proud 🤩
What a lovely thought! Thanks for watching!
I loved this video. The knowledge you shared, your calming voice, your skill, all of it. Oh and the upcycle. Great job!
Thank you very much!
Thank you for (1)being so very clear and thorough in your explanations and (2) recognizing that not all furniture restoration/repair is for the purpose of flipping for money. Sometimes the need is much closer to home.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
I absolutely love it! Love that you took something that was this close 🤏 to garbage and gave it new life and a high-end look!! Love the stripe design you made too! Talk about an up cycle!!So beautiful 🤩
You are so talented and creative - I’m so impressed!❤ 💯 😻
Wow, thank you so much!! I really appreciate that! 😊
See, I love that - good for them! I love hearing about people like that. I'm glad you enjoyed my video, Nacho says hi! Thanks so much for watching!
I love this! I’m going to move soon and this is really good information to have because I’ll be furnishing on a budget. 💗💗💗 thanks, Angie!
I'm so glad I could help! Thanks for watching!
Love it!
Thanks so much Amber! I'll let Nacho know his plan to take over the world with cuteness is well on course. 😉😺Thanks for watching!
This turned out so pretty! I remember having stuff like this (pressboard) in the house growing up. Mom upgraded to solid wood items over time, but most of our stuff was like this until I was about high school age. I love that you were able to give it some more life!
Thank you so much for watching!
I’m all about recycling furniture especially these days. Everything is so expensive. Great tips and it turned out looking really cool.
Thanks so much! 😊
Gotta love a cat who can fetch ! Way to go Nacho 🎉! This is a great tutorial for anyone who wants to rescue / rehab any piece of furniture ! I’ll save this one for sure , to recommend to people who say “ where do I start ?” Thanks Angie !
That's exactly what I was aiming for Charlotte so thank you! Thank you so much for watching!
Slow and careful is exactly the right way to go Shelley! You can do it. Thanks so much for watching!
I love transformations like this, where a humble piece that is quite literally trashed can become a usable, attractive piece anyone would be happy to own and use. 👍
Thanks for watching!
Absolutely adorable. I would definitely put that in my guest room. Thank you for showing beginner's an inexpensive way to start flipping or creating something for their own home.
You're so welcome! Thanks for watching!
You're so welcome, I'm really glad I could help! Best of luck with your projects!
Nacho is so smart! I wish I could teach my cat to bring back the toys I throw but instead I have to chase her around haha. What a cutie
I think it's like anything with cats. They're very definitive on who they are as beings. Some will fetch, some won't. Thanks so much for watching!
I love your appreciation for the situations people find themselves in. For someone who needs to really cut corners, and who is also handy, this can fill a need and also be a point of pride. I think it's absolutely lovely and the design on the back really elevates it.
Thanks so much for watching Janice!
I'm so happy to hear that! Thanks for watching!! 😊
Absolutely love this. It’s a good reminder that we can refinish things that aren’t real wood too. Gorgeous!
Thanks so much!
It’s almost ridiculous how good that turned out! It’s a beautiful little cabinet and so happy you donated it.
Thank you so much for watching!
You took something inexpensive and made it into a project that's pleasing to the eye. Green being one of my favorite colors, I love it.
Thanks so much for watching!
I appreciate your approach - thinking about what your audience might be able to do, as well as giving us videos where we can enjoy watching your skill on quality furniture
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
You're very welcome. Thanks for watching!
Hi Angie you have turned a very tired piece of middle of the road furniture into a little gem .
as always you care in producing any item shines through , you do the best you can. The result is there for all to see.
Thank you so much!
It's very nice. What you did to the inside back is great. I know that many people would really love to have it. So many of you fix and donate pieces similar to this to charitable cases. It is so generous and much needed. Thank you! 💖
You're very welcome! Thank YOU for watching!
Super cute and useful little shelf unit. So helpful to get your quick fix tips -- things someone without a full workshop could do relatively easily. Very encouraging.
I'm so happy to hear that Susan! Thank you so much for watching!
You have shown here that even the most humble piece of "cheap" furniture can be made into something beautiful!
Thanks so much for watching!
Ahh...what a good boi he is! Nice of you to save this piece from the trash and donate it to a charity. Win-win-win.
Thanks so much for watching!
Great upgrade for this piece. Also, as a novice refinisher, it’s always great to see the possibilities without breaking the bank! Bravo 👏🏽 👏🏽
Thanks! 👍
Thanks, Angie. There is value in a lot of things, whether it’s high in monetary value or not. I love that you show the reality - and I still enjoyed the makeover as much as any others!
I'm very glad to hear that! Thanks so much for watching!
You are one excellent and thoughtful teacher. I love the care and attention you gave this ugly duckling. You're so right not everyone can afford or have access to full wood furniture. This a new lease on life to these pieces.
Thanks so much Peggy!
Everything I watch, I get ideas. I have some flat pack shelves that I was going to toss. I have ideas that will save them and make people jealous. Thank you for sharing this project.
You're so welcome! Thanks for watching!
You're very welcome Susan! It's Eucalyptus a gorgeous color? Thanks so much for watching!
Wow, you did such a great job of repurposing this piece. Love it.
I'm so glad, thanks for watching!
Thanks for the nail in the bondo tip. I’ll be using that tip this week . 💕✌️
Thanks for watching!
Wow! Amazing transformation! And how great that you can show us how to refurbish and reuse even cheap pieces. Your creativity inspires me!
Thanks so much! 😊
I wish there was a love button. Angie, you are an Angel indeed, saving the lives of these little pieces, even though most would deem them unworthy.
Thank you very much!! 😊
Thank you for your practical advice. You made a piece of junk useful again.
We have a cat who will catch tiny balls, but he won’t bring them back.
I’ve never seen a cat bring back what was thrown. He’s adorable!
You are welcome! He's something isn't he? His fur sister Willow also enjoys a good game of fetch. Thanks so much for watching!
