If you are outside of the northeast, it can be really hard to find a decent deli, with quality cold cuts and good bread. Jersey Mikes has allowed me to go to Texas and still feel like I'm at an NJ deli. In terms of fast food, they are far and above the best sandwiches, period.

This man got a loan at 17 from his football coach for 177k in 1975 which is an equivalent to 780k today…….. he pretty much just got a free million at 17 did the bare minimum and opened up a fast food restaurant during the peak of the American dream.

Pricing is increasing as quality and quantity decreases. Many stores are filthy and run by lazy employees. Last time I went into one there was only one person in front of me and it took 20 minutes for the guy to make me a sandwich.
Because if this guy I will be going to JM’s even more than I do even at $2o of a giant sub, it’s worth it. There’s a young girl the works at the JM store by me, that if I had the money I would literally gift her a store. She is the sweetest girl, works NONstop and if someone from the company contacts me, I’ll tell them 2 stories, I personally witnessed that broke my heart and she kept on truckin…I hope one day she gets the recognition she deserves. What an asset to the company and one of the reason I continue to go.

Had my first sub 5 years ago and didn’t enjoy the cheese steak and wrote this brand off. Had a freshly sliced sandwich last year. I probably eat there once a week now.
I grew up in the 70's at the shore a 5 minute bike ride from the original place. Lots of great subs in the northeast but Mike's was always the best. A full 12" sub with roast beef, turkey & bacon was like $8. Now it's almost $20?
