My guess is he will struggle to find the difference between no mercy and no honor but also he will have trouble excepting mercy when necessary, rather than no mercy when necessary. if they make him learn mercy in season 4 it will ruin his character unless season 4 is the last season. It's the kind of thing that should be a final lesson for him at least in my opinion.
I don't understand why people are confused about hawks turn during the house fight the whole season has been building up to it. And when all his friends from cobra kai are replaced by kyler and theyre beating up all his friends he realizes hes on the wrong side not to mention Robby joins cobra kai someone robby cant stand
It happens in the span of like 30 seconds. He's beating on a kid, turns around and then because he sees Demitri, which he's seen all night, he has his big change of heart. It's really odd. It's really disappointing when everything else about him has been built really well. Like it could be made so much better if they played up Demitri's arm, like having the guy say something like "Hey Hawk, we broke one, why not the other?" or replay the audio of Demitri begging Hawk for mercy in laser tag and then Hawk can redeem himself.
They had built up to it in previous episoides, but in the actual moments before it happened he was being pretty brutal in attacking the non Cobra kai's. That's what then made it seem abrupt that in a few seconds he went from seemingly relishing beating up the others to then joining forces with them.
@@darkwoods1954 that's who Eli is his hawk persona is a front for his internal struggle throughout all the seasons when he feels vulnerable you see Eli come out and it scares him because he doesn't want to go back so the hawk persona punches it down like when demetri talks dr who hawk doesn't care at first but as the conversation Eli comes through hawk sees this as a weakness and shoves those feelings down and acts out... In beginning of fight he sees miyagi do as the enemy and his friends as traitors but when kyler high fives him and treats him like brucks he comes to the realization that hes on the wrong side he joined cobra kai to become an alpha not become like his old bullies
I notice it his changes from the beginning it was very easy to catch on but the other characters just accepting it so easily bothers me a lot honestly. They probably didn't have enough time for it or something but it's whatever honestly I still like either way.
I honestly believed Hawk needed Johnny’s guidance especially after getting punished for the tournament. Johnny told Miguel why he did it and left Hawk confused and angry. Also after they find out about Robbie being Johnny’s son. Johnny pulls Miguel aside and tells him his story. I believed Hawk needed the same guidance that Miguel had.
That's a very good point; that would've averted some things. I think the fact that Kreese swopped in on top of that also compounded things the way there were
100% agreed. That's johnnys main failure imo. He treated miguel as a "son" and that's why he stuck with him through and through. He didn't treat the others that way and they lost their path. It's almost as if he taught Miguel a completely different lesson than the others. If he'd showed them all that side of him they still would have respected him, and I don't think they would have fallen for kreese.
Yeah, a lot of actors in the 80s era when playing teenagers were actually in their 20s. In fact, when they filmed the first movie, William Zabka (Johnny) was the only one who was still a teenager (19). Everyone else that was a major character (Daniel, Ali, Bobby, etc) were in their 20s.
Tbh Daniel in karate kid looked younger than any of the kids now, and he was 23 he looked about 14 lol, Ali looked young as well and Johnny and his mates were the only ones who looked 18+ on a side note some of the off characters in cobra Kai look in their 20s (the ones who don’t have any lines)
@Brawl Boi I honestly think it showed a lot. The scene really highlighted all the pain the bullying had caused him, all the suffering he felt in silence he caved in on himself and changed due to all of the terrible feats he was put through it showed how someone so calm and collected can suffer in silence and break at the chance to release that anger, I loved the scene but felt hella bad that it happened.
the turning point wasn't Robby joining Cobra Kai, it was him breaking Demetri's arm. Hawk didn't want to do it but was pressured by the others. Also, the hold he had on Demetri was the same Miguel had on Robby. He knows what happened to Miguel and was scared something similar would happen to him, mixing with his insecurity from Demetri kicking him into the trophy case.
It isn't just about revenge. Hawk brutalizes Brucks because he's afraid of the increasingly cutthroat nature of Kreese's Cobra Kai. He needs to 'lay down the law' with his former bullies, make sure they know he can't be messed with.
@@eliekazmouz8918 true but he was aware of what Cobra Kai does to people and he (Hawk) is a prime example. He went from a bullied nerd that got pushed around and beat up all the time to one of the best teenage karatemen (if that’s the word for it) in his state and literally beat the shit out of his bullies so he knew if Cobra Kai could turn a weakling into a warrior then just imagine what it could do to someone who wasn’t a weakling in the first place. Kind of like Robby.

Hawk is the true star of Cobra Kai in regards to the teens. As a nice surprise, I think he should win the tournament as not only would it be a shock but also well deserved.
@@StryfetheWarrior Robby beats Miguel in the semi finals by exploiting his back injury meanwhile Hawk beats Kyler to move in against Robby in the final and wins. Have Hawk about to go full death metal on Kyler like he did bricks but as he's about to get disqualified his new teachings allows him to show mercy. Writes itself I really hope Miguel doesn't win. I love him but if he does then there's nothing more for him to accomplish and it shits all over the other fighters, he just broke his back....
@@razzprince2877 while I can see where you're coming from I think Miguel needs to win the tournament in a fair and square match against Robby especially after what Robby did to him
@@milesmorales6305 My only issues with Miguel winning is that not only is it the obvious option but if they continue to make more seasons then where else can he grow? As a character, he'd of conquered everything whilst every other character couldn't beat a kid who just broke his back months earlier.... Shits on them a little bit just to make Miguel look like Super-man
At the house party it is easy to see that Hawk is still the same kid inside that he was before joining Cobra Kai. He was very interested in what Demetri was saying about the new Dr. Who season. But then he turns back to wanting to “be cool” and goes back to being a bully and dumps his drink on Demetri’s head.
i think that hawk having a hawk tattoo on his back also alludes to him being an eagle fang member the entire time when he was inspired to flip his script by Johnny he chose the hawk instead of a cobra to subtly imply that he was a truly student of Johnny and eagle fang instead of cobra kai, even though eagle fang dojo didn't exist, it was still johnny who taught the values of eagle hawk karate while he owned the cobra kai dojo. hopefully that made sense
@@lucaferrari3456 I think that proves even more that he is a student of Johnny and not cobra Kai because Johnny quite literally gave him his name when he first appeared in the dojo after his new cut and said hawk fall in
It's always fun watching Hawk's aggressive fighting style in action. I think he's gonna have a perfect balance of badassery and sympathy in Season 4. The fact that he's so loyal in every season is awesomely consistent.
Hawk is definitely one of my favorite characters in the show. And I wouldn't mind seeing a video on Tory and how the combo of her hair-trigger temper and Kreese's manipulation transformed her from troubled teen with temper issues that we could root for and sympathize with in S2 to the borderline psychotic villain who enjoys and revels in the pain, and suffering she causes that we saw in S3.
@@_spt-warwolf_4575 actually i could feel a bit sympathy for her at the beginning bc i could rely to her at some point, but the Finale Episode from s2 destroyed it.
Tori is a tragic character. Almost nobody is inherently evil and she's shown to be a redeemable character who is manipulated by Kreese. Someone who has always been an outsider, in trouble in a school full of rich kids...harassed by her landlord making sexual advances on her. Predestined to be tough and aggressive, not trusting anyone as part of her defense. She's always had people look down on her or try to get something out of her...Kreese included and she'll figure that out in a future show I'm sure.
@@KMFDM781 Exactly in fact Tori had the same backstory/origin as Julie from The Next Karate Kid that being a troubled teenage girl who has anger issues due to the world seemingly screwing her over for Julie it was losing both parents in a car accident, and for Tori it was being forced to grow up way to fast her dad leaves her, her little brother, and her mom, her mom gets fired from the diner due to her a-hole boss flipping out over her mom taking her and her little brother some burger patties that were going to be thrown away in two days just so Tori, and her little brother would have lunch, and supper for a couple of weeks, then her mom gets sick forcing Tori to get to 2 to 3 jobs to pay for rent, and her mom's dialysis treatments all while having to deal with a landlord who is probably a child predator. But where they differ is how karate impacts their lives Julie when learning Miyagi-Do Karate from family friend and her "sworn grandfather" Mr. Miyagi learns that it's alright to feel angry over the fact it seems like the world is deliberately trying to screw her over due to her losing both parents in that car wreck but it's not alright to give into said anger and become a hateful, distrustful, bully, whereas Johnny tried to help Tori reign her hair-trigger temper in, but it was ultimately a futile effort as Tori's hair-trigger temper got worse leading her to ultimately wrongfully accuse Sam of knowingly kissing Miguel when in reality Sam was drunk to the point where she couldn't think straight when she kissed Miguel during Moon's party, and then attack Sam at school starting the riot that results in her and Robbie getting expelled, her getting arrested and put on probation, Miguel getting sent into a comatose state, and paralyzed for the first half of Season 3, Aisha being forced by her parents to quit Cobra Kai, and get transferred into a private school, and Stingray getting arrested, and put on probation. Ultimately resulting in the combo of her hair-trigger temper, and Kreese's manipulating her turning her into the borderline psychotic villain we see in Season 3. But Season 2 proves Tori does have three redeemable qualities those being her loyalty to her friends, and family, her willingness to admit when she screws up, and her willingness to admit she has temper issues along with how said temper issues can cause her to misread situations like wrongfully accusing the clearly ultra-drunk Sam of knowingly kissing Miguel when it's clear Sam due to being ultra-drunk wasn't even aware that she was kissing Miguel, and make stupid decisions like starting the school riot. So yeah it's possible for Tori to get a redemption arc midway through Season 4 or at the end of Season 4 due to the combo of knowing Tori has redeemable personality traits, and Tori spending all of Season 3 as a villain.
I feel like hawk is one of the characters I personally relate to most. In school I was picked on a lot. I was the short, poverish, wimpy kid. I got bullied in and out of school. My father abused me, and this was life. I had had enough and decided to "flip the script". I started working out, fighting, and a few years down the road I realized I was the bully, I did not like the person I became and changed again. I always rooted for hawk, Even when I seen him going down the wrong path. I always felt he would eventually realize he was overcompensating. I love that this show is not so black and white. It shows the good guy is not always the good guy, the bad guy is not always what it seams, and people change all the time.
I can relate to tbh in 8th grade I became a bully, and become what I hated and I realised that I’m going through the wrong path then to 9th to 11th grade ( now ) I’m more like Miguel now and rather stay loyal to people and learn from my mistakes it’s not good to be a bully and no one wants to go down that path rn I’m getting bullied by a year 12 who intimidates me and taunts me although I’m never going down the bully path again it’s wrong and it corrupted me I’m glad I’m rooting for Hawk now since he’s good now and Miguel my favourite character
@@Darri_VasquezRNP I think the majority of people want to root for miguel. The thing is that he represents what we want to see in ourselves and have a hard time seeing our own flaws. I think hawk truly represents most of us. "The worst things in the world have been done with the best of intentions ". No one is prefect. We tend to get tunnel vision and miss all the harm we cause trying to do what we think is right.
When you're on one side of the extreme, sometimes you have to go to the other side of the extreme and know you went too far in order to find balance in the middle.
13:20 its also important to note that when kylers gains the respect of hawk by dapping him up he realizes that he has become a jerk just like kyler the same guy who bullied him back then.
His Mohawk has also been both red and blue (the colors hat represent Cobra Kai and Miyagi Do) so it shows he changes and is split. I am curious to see what color his hair is in season 4
I think that Hawk is going to be Miyagi Do's main enforcer. He'll take on the Arn Anderson role in full. He's going to be the ultimate protector of those in the group, especially those like Burt and Nathan who are smaller and weaker than him because he'll see who he was in them. He will also be the one that's right there when the leaders Miguel and Sam need a second, or third. Hawk, in a lot of ways, is my favorite character because he has this protective and loyal nature. Great video. You've got a new subscriber out of me.
I agree. Whichever team Hawk is on is definitely the stronger one simply because of his dead set sense of loyalty. He would - unironically - die for Miguel.
I feel like people don’t fully get hawks story in season 3 he never embraced cobra Kai when he brutalized brucks he was only showing them that he wasn’t a scared nerd anymore that he has grown into something beyond that but through everything when he realizes that he has turned into what he had feared that leads to his turn in the house fight.
I feel like Hawk is more like Johnny. Hawk was all in until he realized Kreese didn't care for his students, just like Johnny in the movie. I'd say Dutch's equivalent to modern Cobra Kai's would be Kyler. Kyler doesn't seem to have any amount of empathy. Unlike Hawk, who didn't even want to injure Demetri. Similarly to how Johnny didn't want to hurt Daniel and cheat the tournament.
Some of the teens In the show are hybrids of OG KK Characters. Miguel is a Hybrid Of Daniel & Johnny Robby is a Hybrid Of Daniel & Chozen Hawk Is a Hybrid Of Johnny & Dutch Tory is a Hybrid of Julie & Mike Barnes
Dutch seems psychopathic....which would mean he was, more or less, born that way. It was completely natural for him to act with no conscience. Hawk, on the other hand, had to *learn* how to become so brutal, and even then he still had that lingering conscience.
Yeah its the battle between two personas, one of the past and one of the potential future. I think both personas reconciled in season three at the house, and he realized he didnt have to be a jerk to be badass (like Johnny taught). He snapped out of Kreese influence, and realized finally that even though Miguel almost died for showing mercy, it is still better than losing your soul or corrupting who you are.
Hawk's journey is one of the reasons that got me hooked on that show WARNING Spoilers for season 4 ahead I was so happy for him when he beat Robby and got all Valley Champion in the season 4 finale. Hawk really deserved it after coming that long way.
I think Johnny's failure in building a meaningful relationship with Hawk has been one of his biggest mistakes yet. Miguel is his star pupil, his first pupil and the sole reason for becoming a sensei, that much is undeniable. But there is no student who listened to Johnny more than Hawk. Hawk is also lacking a father figure in his life like Miguel and might very well be hoping for the same connection with Johnny. In the same way Johnny rather than Daniel was the real karate kid in the original movie, Hawk is the real karate kid in Cobra Kai.
Wow! Well done. That does rhyme. If it's rhyme time, I will add: "Hawk rocks. If you try to punch, then Hawk blocks. Hawk knocks the socks off big jocks! So never mock when Hawk talks."
I could see an all out brawl with Hawk & Robbie as well as Hawk fighting Shawn from Robbie's Juvie. I see Robbie recruiting Shawn in S4. I do still see Hawk being loyal to Miguel & Demetri. The in your face approach w/ Johnny got thru to Hawk. He will also remain loyal to Bert & Mitch. Hawk deep down is Not a bully, but had became one due to being victimized. He will be on a better path & like Miguel is a born leader with smarts & a conscious.
Hawk turned to the dark side so to speak because he was embarrassed by his nerd like qualities and being apart of Cobra Kai brought out the other side of him, every bad quality he lost his way but I think with the training of Daniel and Johnny he'll find balance in himself and learn more about his abilities it'll be amazing to see. Once he starts to learn more he'll be like Miguel another amazing fighter embracing every part of who they are and I think they will help Dimitri to learn more along the way as well, their friendship will teach Johnny and Daniel to I think they are very different but at the end of the day they learn from each other and are there for each other.
I loved when Miguel pulled hawk down, because even though they were not at the vocal point of the screen they still made it look real and even kinda off screen they still well, act.
Fair comparison made here, though I would argue that Hawk is a lot more like Johnny than any other character, especially with the back story for Johnny that was given. Watch the original, or that tournament again, you can see where Johnny starts questioning Cobra Kai there.
@Brawl Boi I think that shawn would be somone who could bring more offense and muscle because shawn has more muscle then other characters and is maybe rivaled by robby but I think that hawk would be a good match for him because they are both very offensive characters and it would be nice to see hawk wailing on somone else other then brucks or other miyagi do students
@Brawl Boi Robby didn't destroy hawk tho, remember that hawk threw Robby and Robby stumbled on the table which stopped him from dropping to the ground, so let's say the table saved Robby that fight plus the only reason why hawk lost was because of the stupid superman Punch he tried to pull...
It’ll be great if they bring back Terry Silver, however I would’ve liked to have seen Hawk and Terry Silver training together to see how vicious Hawk would’ve become
I admit I would have liked Hawk to be in the cobra kai side a little more for more tough conflicts but realistically speaking it makes sense why he decided to leave in the end as someone like him could in the end realize the decisions they picked is wrong and immediately change it to get back what they lost. Abandoning your friends especially at a young age is not easy unless the reason is legitimate enough to do so. In hawks case, it wasn't worth it. He would be alone. Stuck with the very people he despised. Making him a hypocrite and he knows it. (Moon being his warning that would catch on eventually.)
Tory: “You better watch your back.” I get the feeling Tory is going to get revenge on Hawk. She’s either going to give him another scar, or possibly shave off his Mohawk, seen as that’s what makes him confident.
When u think about it it’s not all on hawk Dimitri is also in the wrong he aggravates him as well and pushes him until he snaps it always has a reason don’t make it any more right tho haha
Yeah, they both did some mistakes. Neither of em are truly innocent, but at the very least Demitri was always loyal to Hawk, even when they were at odds
Dimitri was reactionary though. Hawk was always on offensive and distant while Dimitri was passive and snippy. Dimitri knew Hawks pressure points and pushed them when Hawk cornered him.
@@foxcharin not entirely true. Dimitri did provoke Hawk and challenged his transformation as a person, indicating a little bit of jealousy throughout the first and early second season.
@@alexanderhayward8505 I disagree, but that just my interpretation. Like Demetri gave him a hard time over karate like he did with Miguel. That being said, he stood by Hawk as he changed and called him out on being a dick. Like the first thing that comes to mind is the opening of season 2 at the restaurant when Demetri talked about their computer camp and Hawk aggressively told him to “chill out with the nerd shit” and Demetri gave him a look, but was quiet. I agree that he was jealous, but I also think he didn’t understand the drastic change of his friend.
Hawk's season 4 arc will be him atoning for the things he did, much like season 3 focused on his increasing unhappiness with where Cobra Kai was going leading up to his changing sides.
Honestly, I love Kobra Kai. Even for a newbie like me who hasn't watched a single film, can get invested with all it's story telling and characters. No flashback feels out of place, every actor blends into thier role, and surprisingly no one feels like the bad guy. I even pitied Johnny's master, during his time at Vietnam which sparked his cruel teaching methods, as well as inspired the name for Kobra Kai. Can't wait for Season 4, it's gonna be awesome.
I’m hawks defense he was always was bullied when he finally got respect Demetri exposed him and was back to being a laughing stock. It’s not right for him to be a douche but he just wanted respect.
Yeah Demetri isn't innocent, he had his moments of being a douche as well mostly due to his lack of EQ (superimposed on a high IQ). Granted he did things in response, but the bed wetting part is messed up.
@@tjester4842 I dont think hes trying to be toxic, that's just how he feels and believes its worked for me and others, however wrong he is. It might be a toxic belief but that doesnt make him a toxic person. In fact the show and development of his character shows his attitude can change, but regardless he cares about his friends regardless of his issues and will defend them at the expense of attention. That being said, I agree that saying Hawk is a dick without acknowledging that Dem wasn't without faults is very black and white, both characters are complex.
@@soakedbearrd Demetri wouldn’t have ever brought up the bed wetting thing if hawk didn’t pour beer upon his head. If he wanted respect he shouldn’t have gone about it by being a dickhead to his closest friend
Bro Hawk is a bad ass, and this video ages extremely well into Season 4! Especially when you said that Hawk might even be able to go toe to toe with Robbie :)
Just finished this series, and am so glad I found your videos. They are so detailed, and I love the parallels you have picked up with the new and old characters!
I think if Hawk can control his emotions, he‘ll be a better fighter than Robby and even with Miguel, but the way the plot set up, Robby still prob gonna be better. Switching to Cobra Kai, and Hawk going to Miyagi-do, who knows what’ll happen
Eli/Hawk reminds me of what Jordan Peterson calls the monster you need to become FIRST in order to learn how to control it - leading to your full potential.
He has the most powerful because he got the most teaching out of everyone on the show, he was taught by Johnny Johnny and Kreese Kreese Johnny and Daniel
I'd say Hawk is a great asset, he is crazy but motivated by loyalty. It backfires when that loyalty is misguided to Kobra Kai or Kreese, but when it's corrected to loyalty to his friends directly than it's great. If I had to make a tier list for the characters it terms of relative strength in the show its this: S-tier: Miguel and Robby A-tier: Hawk, Sam, and Tori. B-tier: Kyler, Dmitri, and the other bullies. C-tier: All the background dojo students. D-tier: Normal school students.
I think Hawk is probably the best fighter second to only Miguel and a lot of his losses are due to plot armor and the writers trying to build drama or tensity.
I think the reason Hawk loses a lot is because he’s too angry to actually fight. Every fight he’s lost has been because he’s acted irrationally and aggressive. I think once he trains with Daniel, he’ll become a better fighter.
I think they should have separate tournament brackets for guys and girls. Definitely wanna see Sam vs Tory. But as for the male championship, Robby vs Miguel would be good. Definitely need Hawk vs Kyler or something though.
Terry Silver coming back this season he’s gonna get the Cobra Kai students to go after Hawk hard. They’ll probably shave his head and he’ll have to accept himself as Eli again... just my thoughts
I knew he was gonna turn because the look he made when snap demtri and how he was pretty much getting peer pressured Edit: Also Shawn might be top 5 if trained right
I just noticed that in Kirby Buckets, the show where he plays the main character, he has a friend named Eli. Now in Cobra Kai, he plays a character named Eli…
His character arch was actually laxative. Its started slow and as it finally started moving its flushed out so fast. He literally just showed johnny zero loyalty and broke his best friends arm. Hawk was a great story but they really dropped the ball at the end of season 3 for him imo
Not really people think that people cant just change their mind on the spot it happens all time. I had this friend that went to pontiac with two of his friends. They beat his ass and stole all his money and left him there. They were friends for a while. People have killed their wives out of no where. All his friend got kicked put. I had a friend once try to talk me into robbing a party store and first I was like Im going to do so he would think I was cool. I ended up chickening out and didn't go through with it. He later went to prison
I love the movies and the show, but this breakdown analysis shows how much the creators respect the movies and keep the consistency. It really makes me appreciate the show even more by how loyal it is to its source. Just wow!
Thank you Stryfe The Warrior for explaining why Hawk's turn to the right path was well done. Before this video, I always Hawk's turn came from out of nowhere, until you made great analysis.
The only reason that Demitri's win made sense is because he was trained to anticipate and block attacks, while Hawk was taught offense and not much defense. Demitri won with the patented "Miyagi Muscle Memory," but I agree I wish they would've gave him more Ws than Ls

The fact that he's so loyal in every season is awesomely consistent.
I think he definitely would make a great asset. I wouldn't mind seeing him win the tournament
@@StryfetheWarrior i think he will. Hes becoming the good guy like johnny is.
I mean... He wasn't very loyal to Demetri in S2
What are you talking about, Tory is a monster and she always has been. She's been cruel from the beginning, Kreese just made her worse.
Tory will definitely get her video made. And Kreese definitely had something to do with that.

Well said. Same, I had a very similar background with bullying and whatnot, so I understand.

He's going to be the ultimate protector of those in the group, especially those like Burt and Nathan who are smaller and weaker than him because he'll see who he was in them.
I agree with you

Some of the teens In the show are hybrids of OG KK Characters.
Miguel is a Hybrid Of Daniel & Johnny
Robby is a Hybrid Of Daniel & Chozen
Hawk Is a Hybrid Of Johnny & Dutch
Tory is a Hybrid of Julie & Mike Barnes
"Hawk might even be able to beat Robby" - well that aged well
Dutch seems psychopathic....which would mean he was, more or less, born that way.

I think if Hawk can control his emotions, he‘ll be a better fighter than Robby and even with Miguel, but the way the plot set up, Robby still prob gonna be better. Switching to Cobra Kai, and Hawk going to Miyagi-do, who knows what’ll happen
Hawk also lacks defense, and I think Miyagi-Do can definitely help him be a more balanced fighter
@@StryfetheWarrior I agree
Eli/Hawk reminds me of what Jordan Peterson calls the monster you need to become FIRST in order to learn how to control it - leading to your full potential.
I was so sad when they cut off his hair 😭😭😭
He has the most powerful because he got the most teaching out of everyone on the show, he was taught by
Johnny
Johnny and Kreese
Kreese
Johnny and Daniel
That's a very true statement. Miguel never really trained directly under Kreese for an extended period of time, compared to Hawk
Bruh he got clapped by miguel
@@blb961yt season 3 hawk could have beaten miguel
@@itsthelegitdude7352 no shit miguel was injured
@@blb961yt i meant season 3 hawk could have a change againts non injured miguel
Season 1: Eli becomes hawk
Season 2: Hawk consumes Eli
Season 3:Eli Consumes hawk
Sam, Hawk, and Miguel are gonna be the ace of season 4 i just know it
So that means Tory, Kyler, and Robby for the Cobra Kais
Yes tho kyler is in last
@@krono0177 like kreese said they're natural athletes, so I think he will learn fast
I agree
I bet Kyle is gonna turn into a monster like hawk was
This went from Eli to hawk to Eli and hawk in perfect sync and leading to a good path
Demetri’s Arm: *Exists*
Hawk: It’s Free Real Estate
*crack*
Got em
I'd say Hawk is a great asset, he is crazy but motivated by loyalty. It backfires when that loyalty is misguided to Kobra Kai or Kreese, but when it's corrected to loyalty to his friends directly than it's great. If I had to make a tier list for the characters it terms of relative strength in the show its this:
S-tier: Miguel and Robby
A-tier: Hawk, Sam, and Tori.
B-tier: Kyler, Dmitri, and the other bullies.
C-tier: All the background dojo students.
D-tier: Normal school students.
Good list!
It is cobra kai not kobra Kai. U idiot
They made him a bitch in Season 4 and only redeemed him at the very end, which he DID deserve to win and i was happy he did.
I have one question Hawk could have saved Miguel and Demetri he was the best fighter in the room.
I was expecting that too tbh
I think Hawk is probably the best fighter second to only Miguel and a lot of his losses are due to plot armor and the writers trying to build drama or tensity.
@@jobolds6146 yeah but not Miguel currently
I think the reason Hawk loses a lot is because he’s too angry to actually fight.
Every fight he’s lost has been because he’s acted irrationally and aggressive. I think once he trains with Daniel, he’ll become a better fighter.
Honestly, I think the finals in the tournament is gonna be Tori vs Sam. I would definitely prefer Miguel or Hawk to win
I'd definitely cool with Hawk winning
I think it’s gonna be Sam and Robby honestly.
I think they should have separate tournament brackets for guys and girls. Definitely wanna see Sam vs Tory. But as for the male championship, Robby vs Miguel would be good. Definitely need Hawk vs Kyler or something though.
Imagine if Hawk wins the All Valley! What a twist that would be and I would love it.
Did you catch up to the new season?
@@iamdanyboy1 yes sir I binged it in one day and I called it, let’s goo!
@@jinxed7969 haha. Did not want to spoil. So just confirmed. You were spot on.
Terry Silver coming back this season he’s gonna get the Cobra Kai students to go after Hawk hard. They’ll probably shave his head and he’ll have to accept himself as Eli again... just my thoughts
I see this happening as well. Terry Silver is a phenomenal villain
"history does not repeat itself" kenny: are u sure abt that?
I knew he was gonna turn because the look he made when snap demtri and how he was pretty much getting peer pressured
Edit: Also Shawn might be top 5 if trained right
That would be interesting to see Shawn in Cobra Kai
He could’ve just knocked Demetri out instead of breaking his arm.
@@StryfetheWarrior imagine he wants to become better after getting his ass popped by Robby, so he joins MD/EF.
@@z3nith_fgc Duuude that would be dope!
I have a bad feeling Hawk will have a tragic ending early on in season 4, Cobra kai will target Hawk, to be made an example off as a "traitor"
I hear that theory, but I also think back when he scared Tory and Kyler when he brutalized Brucks. Hard to say.
I feel like at first Hawk will not like the more less badass dojo of Johnny and Daniels but he will get used to it at the end
He needs to learn proper defense so he can be unstoppable
@@StryfetheWarrior ya I think Hawk will like defense eventually he will balance it and also he has to tell Daniel what he did to Miyagi do
I just noticed that in Kirby Buckets, the show where he plays the main character, he has a friend named Eli.
I think that Robby will have a redemption scene where Johnny is about to be seriously injured or die then Robby saves him.
YES!!
That could happen
I see Miguel winning the next tournament, and out of anger Kreese attacks Johnny, only to be stopped by Robby
@@j.jonahjameson5729 OMG THAT WOULD BE PERFECT
I believe that Miguel's dream when he was in the como will become true
a year later and hawk wins agaisnt robbie, lets goooo
"Look, im sorry man...wanna help me to win this?"
You right im the best!!
I love the movies and the show, but this breakdown analysis shows how much the creators respect the movies and keep the consistency. It really makes me appreciate the show even more by how loyal it is to its source. Just wow!
Imagine if hawk put his hair on white so it matches with the white miyagi do ge
That would be awesome!
Yeeahh will instantly gain the wisdom of mr miyagi
There is no bad student, there is only a bad sensei
Technically Daniel proves because he didn't take the values of Miyagi-Do to heart, he was a bad student AND a bad teacher
Although it's not a perfect comparison, I see miguel as the new Daniel and hawk as the new johnny
You're not too far off, there are definitely some similarities with Miguel being a modern day Daniel
Thank you Stryfe The Warrior for explaining why Hawk's turn to the right path was well done. Before this video, I always Hawk's turn came from out of nowhere, until you made great analysis.
Mannn...just imagining Hawk learning the art of actual defense from Daniel in Season-4 is gonna be interesting.
I can't wait to see it either!
"I'm the guy whos gonna win this whole fucking thing"
HELL YES
the mistake the show made in season 2 is making hawk lose every fight he was in. it was so annoying
Excattley he shouldn't have lost ro demettri and he should of beat robby Bs
The only reason that Demitri's win made sense is because he was trained to anticipate and block attacks, while Hawk was taught offense and not much defense. Demitri won with the patented "Miyagi Muscle Memory," but I agree I wish they would've gave him more Ws than Ls
