  • Hopia is a popular Filipino filled pastry. Great for snacks! This version uses the Mung Bean filling, but you can use any filling you like. It's really a simple recipe.. Give it a try !!!
Oops !!! we put the wrong image at the 5.04 minutes mark... It is a pic of Pan de Coco, not Hopia.. Check it out......
    Ingredients:
    Filling:
1 pk 340 grams Split Mung Bean
1 cup White Sugar (You can put less if you want)
    1/2 stick of Butter
    1 can Condensed Milk
    1 tsp Vanilla
    Dough 2
    1 cup All Purpose Flour
    1/2 cup Canola Oil
    Dough 1
    2 cups All Purpose Flour
    2 tbs Sugar
    1 tsp Salt
    1/2 cup Canola Oil
    1/2 cup Water
Bake at 400 degrees F for 30 min. or until golden brown
Tip: You can use a butter knife to spread the dough 2 on to dough 1. It works a lot better! 😀

You probably put too much filling or your filling was too wet. Thanks for wstching!

Another thing you can do is make sure the ends are sealed tight and should be facing down on the cookie sheet. Good luck on your next try and let me know how it turns out. Thanks!

No, you always have left over. You can put it in a container and it will be good for months. No need to refrigerate. Thanks for watching!

Try cracking the eggs in the flat surface. In that way ma minimize ang lalim nang pag dent na maka cause nang small pcs. of shell ma punta sa laman nang egg . At least maiwasan mo ito.
