I've never understood the modern mainstream acceptance of Islam by Judeo/Christians. The historical evidence points to the origins of Islam to be political / cultural. It is paramount that non muslims remember that Islam 'hijacked' (no pun intended) the stories and teachings of the Biblical prophets including Jesus and manipulated them for their own 'arab' identity. Islam = Christian Heresy. Islam is not an Abrahamic religion no matter how much muslims tell us it is.

Some how it is now making sense. My question has been all this time that, How can Allah send the best prophet by the name of Jesus, Then later after 600 years send a bad prophet by the name of Muhammad and expect the people to believe in Muhammad. It doesn't make sense.
I have felt similarly. it is completely anti-climactic. The usual islamic narrative feels like Jesus is the pinnacle of revelation and then Muhammad is an after-thought or even unexpected or unnecessary.
How was Jesus the best and Muhammad bad when they brought the same message? Why doesn't it make sense? The definition of Islam is to submit to Allah by worshipping Him alone; and to surrender to Him in obedience; and to keep away from idolatry. This was the way of all the prophets. God has always sent the news or tidings to humans by way of prophets and messengers. From the first prophet, the father of mankind, people were upon the worship of God alone. Then after ten generations idolatry entered the world and God sent Noah to bring the people back to worshipping God alone (Islam). Throughout time, he continued to do so prophet after prophet, Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Jacob, Isaac, Lot, Jonah, Jesus and all those in between until Muhammad ﷺ. God also aided the prophets and messengers with miracles, to help prove (or make sense) that they are God. Which is why Muhammad ﷺ was also sent miracles alongside the many predictions and all that is contained in the Quran to prove it is from God and not a man. People who believed in Jesus, who knew the scripture, also believed in Muhammad ﷺ from the earliest days of Islam until today. That is why those who seek the truth and what to follow Jesus in truth, when they learn about Muhammad and Islam, they become Muslim. Jesus' message is Muhammad's message.

But if ur perspective of God is that He sent His Son to die for the sins of the world to save us from the Hellfire because He understands we could not obey His laws perfectly, then that's something else. I think I understand what happened. The Arab world was fragmented and fighting against each other. Mohamed understood an important human principle in which people unite when they have a common enemy. Mohamed started piecing fragments from other religions and put principles together to try to reunite the Arabs. Creating a common enemy and creating a high deity for fear was a perfect formula to unite the Arabs.

In one of the pre islamic coins, the images are of Rama, Sita & Lakshmana. Such coins & paintings are also there in Italy ( pre Christian era). The Quran mentions that Moses was in the the valley of Tuwa / the valley of twice sacred before he spotted a fire on the side of Mount Tur. al masjid al haram means the sacred place of worship, al masjid al aqsa means the furthest place of worship. So al masjid al haram would be the valley of Tuwa and al aqsa would be the fire on top of Mount Tur. Then 17:2 literally says AND We gave Moses the law..., so the narrative fits. If you read 27:8 you'll notice how it shares the blessed surroundings terminology like in 17:1. Makes sense since the valley Moses was in is described as twice sacred and he is told to take off his shoes. Regarding showing the servant signs, the Quran repeats how Moses' staff was turned into a serpent at the burning bush.

Very interesting. The big Petra earthquake was 713, but Caliph Abd al-Malik died in 705 and Ibn Zubayr died in 692. So some work on the timelines needs to be done. I have no doubt Islam's narrative about its origins are mostly fiction and false, but we really need to nail down the timeline of events when worship moved from Petra to Mecca.The Qarmations also seized the Black Stone idol of Islam and moved it in 930 AD.

I have felt similarly. it is completely anti-climactic. The usual islamic narrative feels like Jesus is the pinnacle of revelation and then Muhammad is an after-thought or even unexpected or unnecessary.
How was Jesus the best and Muhammad bad when they brought the same message? Why doesn't it make sense?
The definition of Islam is to submit to Allah by worshipping Him alone; and to surrender to Him in obedience; and to keep away from idolatry. This was the way of all the prophets. God has always sent the news or tidings to humans by way of prophets and messengers. From the first prophet, the father of mankind, people were upon the worship of God alone. Then after ten generations idolatry entered the world and God sent Noah to bring the people back to worshipping God alone (Islam). Throughout time, he continued to do so prophet after prophet, Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Jacob, Isaac, Lot, Jonah, Jesus and all those in between until Muhammad ﷺ.
God also aided the prophets and messengers with miracles, to help prove (or make sense) that they are God. Which is why Muhammad ﷺ was also sent miracles alongside the many predictions and all that is contained in the Quran to prove it is from God and not a man.
People who believed in Jesus, who knew the scripture, also believed in Muhammad ﷺ from the earliest days of Islam until today. That is why those who seek the truth and what to follow Jesus in truth, when they learn about Muhammad and Islam, they become Muslim. Jesus' message is Muhammad's message.

Believe one such place/reality is heaven. It's beautiful with lovely mansions and many children. The saints that have died live there and heaven is where the trinity of God is; father, son and spirit. Jesus is the son. It is a great comfort from this horrible existence and Christians hope to go there some day.

The reason Allah ascended Prophet Muhammad to Jerussalam is to mock the Jews of that time who even when many prophets were send to them (from among themselves) still going astray and keep doing evil. The Quran mentions that Moses was in the the valley of Tuwa / the valley of twice sacred before he spotted a fire on the side of Mount Tur. al masjid al haram means the sacred place of worship, al masjid al aqsa means the furthest place of worship. So al masjid al haram would be the valley of Tuwa and al aqsa would be the fire on top of Mount Tur. Then 17:2 literally says AND We gave Moses the law..., so the narrative fits.
If you read 27:8 you'll notice how it shares the blessed surroundings terminology like in 17:1. Makes sense since the valley Moses was in is described as twice sacred and he is told to take off his shoes. Regarding showing the servant signs, the Quran repeats how Moses' staff was turned into a serpent at the burning bush.

Very interesting. The big Petra earthquake was 713, but Caliph Abd al-Malik died in 705 and Ibn Zubayr died in 692. So some work on the timelines needs to be done. I have no doubt Islam's narrative about its origins are mostly fiction and false, but we really need to nail down the timeline of events when worship moved from Petra to Mecca.The Qarmations also seized the Black Stone idol of Islam and moved it in 930 AD.
