I was 5 years of chronic illness! I was Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation.

The English version has many verses missing or words in bracket. Just do not understand the concept of writing in brackets. Why a holy book need words in brackets to make you understand. It should have been self explanatory.Good work brothers. The work you are doing Muslims today can't answer even one challenge you have put forward. @Felsimore Gumtang Why are there no coins? Why are there no rock inscriptions? Lack of paper doesn't remotely get you out of the hot water you're in. Where are the references to Muhammad, the Qur'an, Mecca? Nowhere!
Jesus is attested to as the Son of God and God in the flesh, definitively as far back as the 2nd century AD, in our earliest fragments of John. Historical analysis of further manuscripts and literature trace the deity of Christ to no later than 50AD. When did the corruption happen? Before even the writing of the gospels? Why then does your Qur'an say to judge according to the gospels? You cannot escape the truth, you have no facts on your side.

    • @Draezeth
      @Draezeth 3 года назад

@Felsimore Gumtang You've got no idea what you're talking about.
*Coins-* I'm pretty sure your response has been debunked by other evidence CIRA has talked about, but I'm not well versed enough in it to respond, so on to the things I can.
*Stone inscriptions-* First off, why did you even mention the scarcity of paper if they're illiterate to begin with? Second, isn't it the standard narrative that the Qur'an was compiled from its writing on skins, bone, stone, etc. that was collected during and around Muhammad's lifetime? Third, I'm not even talking about Muhammad's time in specific, there are no inscriptions until the dome of the rock, where is your entire history up until then?
*Mecca-* Yeah, Mecca wasn't a popular place, that's kind of the point here. It wasn't the holy city of Islam until much later. It's out of the way, not on any major trade routes, not particularly fertile either, and recent digs have turned up no artifacts to corroborate the claims the Qur'an makes about it.
*The Gospel-* Yeah, there is only one gospel, the 'gospels' are simply slight variations in its telling. Emphasis on slight. The message is unanimous, and has been since the 2nd century at the latest. Were there really these Nazarenes in Arabia, or is that just an ad hoc explanation? Why are there no remains of their version of the gospel? Why didn't Allah preserve that, if they apparently were allies of Muhammad?
      *Corruption-*
      - *Of the New Testament* And we still have those Greek manuscripts today, to verify the message is true. Rome definitely DID corrupt the truth, but we've since recovered all of it.
      - *Of the Old Testament* If this corruption of considering the 10 tribes as gentiles happened when Israel and Judea split, then why is this not found IN the Old Testament? Where was the Word corrupted? Why are they still considered Israel throughout the books? I'll tell you why- because no matter how much they resented their northern neighbors, Israel reveres the Torah above all else, and would not dare to edit it. And because God *does* preserve His Word.
      - *Catholic Bible* What are you even talking about here? The Catholic Bible contains absolutely nothing about the saints. It just has a few additional history books, which Protestants like myself don't consider to be divinely inspired. The Bible was compiled *700 years* before the first crusade, Old Testament included. Your version of events is pure fever dream fantasy with no basis in fact!

This is how Islam started, Some of the successful tribal leaders started claiming that their appointment was from God, a singular diety stolen from Jewish tradition. The appointment itself stolen from Persian pagan and jewish beliefs. That is why they were so successful in it's initial period, they were not considered outsiders of different religion but one among the people themselves. The Caliphs were not called Caliphs till the mid 8th or 9th century, mohammad did not appear on the scene till mid 7th century. People who have tried to find proof about mohammad have come up with nothing till date.
Allah, Muhammad, Islam are generic terms applicable to anybody. Even Muslim courts have affirmed that.

The earliest socalled Caliphs were not even called Caliphs.Quran itself came from contemprory plagiarism from differrent people and at different times. The earliest versions were destroyed by Muslims themselves bcoz they raised more questions than they answered. In the big picture this makes no difference to the character of Islam but in a focused study it changes everything.

For example, try to find one archological evidence to the famous battle of khyber, apart from stories of dubious antecedents, there is none. I wonder if the mosque now known as the "Dome of the Rock" was completed before Mecca was rebuilt. Abd al-Malik is said to have built that mosque in 691 to 692. I presume that after the death of Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr in late 692, Abd al-Malik decided not to return the black rock to its original location, but to start a long process of making the current location of Mecca suitable for pilgrimages.

The footnote to Mecca is similar to the footprint in Sri Lanka. The symbol is that of the Buddha. The author of the Quran wanted the Muslims to seek refuge in the Buddha again. The thipitakaya words match the some words of the Qur'an. Muslims today do not know that past.

Lots of analysis and arguments over God and Allah when no one in this world has ever seen any of them!! Neither has anybody seen or come back from "heaven" or " hell" to tell us what lies there. Still we continue to " believe" in these things and fight/ kill each other to prove one's superiority over the other. Isn't it tragic to fight over something we have no first hand experience of? We would be far better off if only we became good decent human beings ourselves and help each other as long as we live on this planet.

It should be noted that Dan Gibson does not agree with Jay, that Mohammad didn't exist. I think a fair description of Dan Gibson's understanding of the history of Islam is that the standard narrative is generally correct with a number of misunderstandings creeping into the modern interpretation. The real Mecca being Petra probably being the largest. If you look on Dan's channel and watch a video he put out recently called "Which Approach to Islam?", he explains his view on the matter thoroughly.

Al Fadi and Jay: Can you help us see any connection of the coins, both pre- and after Islam begins, with the early writings, especially the ones that were carbon dated (in your earlier videos). I am assuming that early Islam would be Nabatean, and verses in the “Meccan” Koran were respectful toward both Jews and Christians. If these Nabatean were referred to (or referred to themselves) as Hagarites, Ishmaelites, and other names, would it make sense to say that they deferred to Jews and Christians because they FULLY UNDERSTOOD that they were not a part of the Abraham and Sarah Covenant with God that became Issac, etc. I think many people think that Ishmael’s birth was valid because he was a son of Abram. However, the story exists because Abram/Sarai had no children/legacy to pass on, so Sarai volunteered Hagar. However, Ishmael was 13 years old when the Covenant was made/names changed to Abraham/Sarah. (Abraham and Sarah were actually 1/2 brother/sister with a common father, which is why the Covenant is actually to THEM, and not to simply Abraham. Ishmael was never a part of it.) So the Nabateans understood their place….but the coins tell the story of the split between Judaism/Christianity and the new religion, Islam. This all makes sense to me…..what do the two of you think?

@@gilbertjones9157 I can only speak from a historical context. Sadly for some religious scholars with a doctorate in Islamic Studies would be no different getting a doctorate in Greek Mythology and believing its real while being unaware of themselves as scholars of historical fabrication bestowed upon them by lords of greed and power. The unspoken truth is the Abrahamic religion along where Zoroastrian, and whatever middle Eastern and central Asian religions in the 7th century into the 8th and 9th century were highjacked to form an as an offshoot religion disguised as a rooted Abrahamic religion with its sole purpose to gain legitimacy by delegitimizing the authenticity of Christianity and Judaism, and all non adherents believers, and yet assumes itself in a narcissistic nature of superiority and supremacy over the inhabitants in order to govern, rule, canonize laws by a book from God through a messenger, but in reality was meant to expand territory to gain riches and power its rulers wanted. What really gave rise to the inception of early Islam is the lack of separation of state and religion. This was originally created when Christianity and Philosophy was adopted by “Roman Empire”. When we look at the early inception of Christianity and its struggle to become the official religion of the Roman Empire and how it became the protector of the Trinitarian dogma by giving the emperor a vested power of the church, this gave the emperor the power to stumble all the opposing of non Trinitarian Christian parties indiscriminately. Those who opposed, were the creators of early Islam. Unfortunately those who never accepted the Trinitarian philosophy were driven out towards the opposing Roman might, the Persians, this led them to re-establish themselves as a fighting force against the Roman Empire and sought a major opportunity to rise when Persian empire was defeated by the Roman/Byzantines. The creation of early Islam (known as a Non Trinitarian Christianity and Talmudic Judaism sect) did exactly and as when Roman state shared power with the Church, therefore uniting their religion and state as one, resulted in a successful conquests of Roman controlled territory by these early Muslims . Later on this gain of power and territory gave rise to factional power grab among the early Muslims. The winner were the Abbasids who also had re-wrote history to legitimize themselves as Gods power on earth and created Modern Islam to rival the Roman version of Christianity. Simply put, if all the believers of Christ just listened to what he said “give Cesar what is to Cesar and what is to God to God” we would not be in these religious debacles. Hopefully 🙏 one day the modern world would find peace by at least listening to the key messages from our Holy Lord Jesus Christ, and re-examine history with an open mind.

"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me" does Jesus sound like a God ? The maps that Jay shows at 18:07 are not what he says they are. Al Fadi, please hold Jay to account on these things.
The first map Jay shows, labeled as "TABVLA ASIAE VI", was created by Sebastian Munster and based on the work of Claudius Ptolemy. The map was part of the 1540 publication, 'Geographia Universalis'. You can search for "swaen munster1540" and find photographs of its maps. This is #22. So, not 6/7th century.
The second and third maps Jay shows, labeled as "ARABIAE Veteris", are actually the same map but cropped differently. This map was created by Christoph Weigel in 1720 with the city names also coming from Ptolemy. So again, not 6/7th century.
The fourth map, labeled as "The KINGDOMS of ARMENIA, PONTUS, CAPPADOCIA, MEDIA &c.", was created by Isaac Bazire in the mid 1700s. The source for his cities also seems to be Ptolemy, but regardless, not 6/7th century.
If Jay wants to argue that Claudius Ptolemy was unaware of any city named Mecca in the 2nd century when he recorded this information then fine, but these maps add nothing to his argument and in fact take away from it when people understand that these maps were not created when he said they were. I don't care if it was Jay or Patricia Crone that dug up these maps, they're not from the 6th or 7th centuries. Unless someone can give an answer to this information I've presented, please stop spreading these maps!

Have you read Patricia Crone’s book on this? Does she use the right historical maps in her writing?

@@rowanparchi5199 I have not read her book. But if she used these maps, the answer would be no. If she used others, they would have to be evaluated on their own merit.

    Daniel 3
4 The herald shouted, “You people of all nations, races, and languages, 5 when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, harp, and other instruments, kneel down and worship the golden statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had erected. 6 Anyone who does not worship will be immediately thrown into a burning fiery furnace. ” 7 So when they heard the sound of the instruments, they knelt down and worshiped the image

For by his own body Jesus Christ saved all flesh [and restored it to life], so that he might show forth the temple of righteousness in his body, in whom [or whereby] we are saved [, in whom if we believe we are set free].
    ..
And as for that which they say, that there is no resurrection of the flesh, they indeed shall have no resurrection [to life, but to judgment] because they do not believe in him that is risen from the dead, [not believing nor understanding]. For they do not know, O Corinthians, the seeds of wheat or of other seeds, how they are cast bare into the earth and are corrupted and rise again by the will of God with bodies and clothed. And not only that [body] which is cast in rises again, but many times more blessing itself.
    ...
How much more, [oh you of little faith], shall he raise you that have believed in Christ Jesus, just as he himself arose. In the same way, a dead man also was cast upon the bones of the prophet Elisha by the children of Israel, and he arose, both body and soul and bones and spirit [or arose in his body]. How much more shall you who have been cast upon the body and bones and spirit of the Lord [or How much more, oh you of little faith, shall you which have been cast on him] rise again in that day having your flesh whole, [just as he rose]?
    ...
If, then, you receive any other doctrine, [God shall be a witness against you]. Let no man trouble me, for I bear these bonds that I may win Christ. I therefore bear his marks in my body so that I may attain to the resurrection of the dead. Whoever receives [or abides in] the rule which he has received by the blessed prophets and the holy Gospel shall receive a reward from the Lord, [and when he rises from the dead shall obtain eternal life]. But whoever transgresses these things, with him is the fire, and with those that walk in the same way, which are a generation of vipers [or who are men without God], whom you must reject in the power of the Lord, and peace, [grace, and love] shall be with you.
