stray kids is "self-made" that is rare to a k-pop band. they have producing team named 3racha which includes 3 members(bang chan, changbin and han). they wrote whole! stray kids discography and produced like 90%. now bang chan is improving even more in arranging songs (he arranged 6/7 songs from oddinary album). sometimes other members also take part in writing lyrics and composing music.

Was waiting for someone to say this! I think it’s so unfortunate when someone instantly connects something to gender… kinda upsetting when you think about how open StrayKids are and how much they cater to all kinds of humans

19 members!?! 😵💫 there's only 8 of them😭😭 however there is a group with 23 members name NCT and they have, i believe, 3 subgroups.
They basically have an entire football team at that point 😩😂

The high ad lib vocals at the end were by Chan, the leader--he has blue hair in this video and sang the opening, he also did ad libs throughout the track. The 3 member production unit of Chan, Changbin, and Han, called 3Racha, has credits or co-credits for writing, composing, producing and/or arranging almost all (these days, probably all) their releases. They are extraordinarily prolific, Chan for instance has well over 100 Korean copyrights, (most of them co-credited with 3Racha, other Stray Kids members, and/or other producers and artists). Han and Changbin are not far behind. They are the kinds of artists who love collaboration. Han raps in the pink sweater and furry hat, Changbin raps in the green sweater with green hair highlights. Chan and deep voice Felix are both Australian.
For another rap heavy track from this album, try Muddy Water. Muddy Water does not have a video, it is by the rap line sub-unit of Changbin, Hyunjin, Han and Felix, written by the four of them. It's best to use a color coded lyrics video, the main company "video" has a static image and no lyrics. The color coded lyrics videos are fan-made, but give a fairly good sense of the meaning, they highlight the name and photo of each member as they sing/rap, and often include explanations of obscure cultural references. Muddy Water is my personal favorite from this album by a hair, it's just personal taste though.
If you would like to hear more gorgeous falsettos from them, check out the First Take version of Slump--4 of the 8 members sing in falsetto. (So if you don't actually like falsetto, avoid it like the plague). It's fast paced, has some rap but feels more focused on vocals.

Stray Kids is all self written self produced, to answer your question. There are 3 members of the group specifically who write and produce the majority of their music. You would probably also like God’s Menu, and Thunderous. There is also a song featuring only 2 of the members called Red Lights, and a Christmas song called Christmas Evel with a hilarious Music Video
Beside the music and sound production, they're so good with lyrics, their lyrics are so relatable
The top 3 songs of skz that boost their popularity are gods menu, back door and thunderous. They are sooo good (thunderous actually made me a stay - their fandom name) so I highly recommend them as well as miroh (it's like a turning point for the group but there are 9 members in the mv bcoz it was filmed in 2019). It would be also great for you to see them actually performing songs on stage bcoz they are naturally good at it so kingdom stages (Korean show) are also worth watching (especially ill be your man and god's du du du) 🥺

They are actually "only" 8 members but I get that it can be very confusing in the begining. I also had problems telling them apart.
And the line distribution in this song is pretty even. It's not always like this. Sometimes some members have more lines, just because they fit the song better. The high note at the end was actually the blue haired guy from the begining. His name is Chan and he's the leader of the group. He often does these kind of adlibs.

Hyunjin is the red hair), Felix (deep voice maniac) Han (white fluffy hat), Changbin (green highlight hair and green sweater), IN (the youngest in the café with mop and had shadows of his self separate from him in the café diner), Lee Know had first high note on 1 word in the beginning in the café diner. Suengmin cut the first string of a rag doll. 3Racha is the one that writes the lyrics, compose the sound and music, beats, arranges the members lines and lyrics, and produces the tracks or songs. 3Rach is a sub rap unit within stray kids that not only has their own unit rap songs or solo rap songs on their channel under skz record or skz player. The 3 members of 3Racha are BangChan, Han & Chanbin.

I really enjoyed your insight. These talented young men compose almost everything they record, Bang Chan the leader composed this beat over a year ago. They write their own lyrics and usually are leads in the production. They are amazing. They have created their own genre of music, incorporating those sounds that you mentioned. I have seen recommendations for their First Take recordings. First Take is a Japanese recording Studio that asks artists to record songs in one take. They were the first non-Japanese artists asked to record, the first to record more than once (3 songs) and the first artists to record a non-Japanese song. There’s 8 members, the big end song was leader Chris who has just posted a vlive video on day saying he’s seen your reactions and how your getting their influences right, there’s lyrics your interpreting as they intended. He was so happy to watch your reactions. Oh and they are fully self made and self produced. They ARE stray kids! And their fan are “STAY”. They write everything and produce it all. Leader Chris (bangchan) produces most and finishes the songs. He hand picked these members and created his own group. The two other main rappers and him a sub group 3racha and we’re a group before, they write and produce most but all members are involved in the creating. Get to there uk concert you’ll love it

their album is itself called ODDINARY - which is a mix of Odd and Ordinary, the group came up with the name. and you were very correct to catch the meaning - as Chan (the leader) said, there is something odd in each and every one, and it's completely ordinary, so don't hide or fear your inner Maniac, it's ok
I think it's their charm as a group - not only they write their whole discography themselves, they talk about real shit, their own emotions, problems, Dreams, and it's very relatable
