That relation is actually mutual - Megadeth hasn't recorded anything good since Marty's departure. What I'm saying is that the world's lost a hell of a good synergy and chemistry btwn musicians. World keeps on turning, I survived but I do miss a good heavy metal music. P.S. Megadeth allegedly WILL get reunited in 2023, although in Japan only, so except a few mentions we won't hear much of it. What happens in Japan stays in Japan, unfortunately.

It's B phrygian not the dominant
No 'phrygian dominant' is correct though it goes by many names. It's the 5th mode of the harmonic minor scale.

if I wanted the phrygian dominant sound I would look for Yngwie and not Friedman
2 different styles mate. Yngwie is power/neoclassical, Friedman is more Flamenco/Japanese.
