From just what I've searched and what you told me, it seems like this controller is key to long-lasting gear boxes with variable throttle. That allows for the power to come in better
You’re 100% right! There’s other ways to go fast for sure but we prefer this way, any other way we have occasional carnage, ever since we went this route we have never broke a gear box or gear, running plastic gears , we have burned up some motors but only due to really overvolting motors that aren’t rated for what we put at them lol
No problem! Every car we have is running this setup, our friend Ava in the pink mustang, ev and jax in the jeeps, it’s the fastest SAFEST way we have found so far, we have played with a solenoid setup but can’t seem to keep the gears together for more than a few runs, with this ESC, we never broke any gears , do this setup with the 1st gear delete 🤫 and it’ll run 2.80-3.2 depending how many volts , identical to little man’s lambo and race car

@TrevorsFastLife i get that. Either way you go, it's only going to last for so long.
@@MrMckenzie2403 this is definitely the most reliable/fast way we have found!
Thank you!
You’re welcome!
Thanks Alex for all your information. Do you run this controller in most of your setups? Can't wait to hear the news for next year.

By default without setting up, the wheels spin about 1 revolution in 5 seconds on 36v. I'm guessing it's because it's a new Kelly controller?
Figured it out. Had the negative of motors hooked to the B-
