- Entrevista del malogrado Jose Luis Uribarri, para el programa "Aplauso", realizada(desde Miami) a los míticos "Be Gees"; trío formado por los hermanos Gibb, con Barry y los desaparecidos, Maurice y Robin. Durante la charla, los hermanos presentan temas tan emblemáticos como "Staying Alive" "How Deep is Your Love"(ambos de la legendaria BSO, "Fiebre del Sábado Noche" 1978) asi como otro gran clásico, la preciosísima "Too Much Heaven"(también de 1978). También se habla del disco que estaba de actualidad en aquel entonces "Living Eyes"(1981). Y se presentan dos singles del mencionado album; "He's a Liar" y el tema que daba el título al LP. Sin duda, toda una joya de documento el que nos ha rescatado, hoy, el Archivo de RTVE...

Robin was living a "liberated lifestyle", was how he referred to it. Free to roam the streets or "cruise & watch", as him & Dwina called it.🫤🤮🫤

I agree. I never seen this one before and as always I was interested in what Robin had to say. Robin constantly changed his stage persona over the years and I liked him not getting settled in one look.
He really did know how to keep it moving !
This was a tough time for Robin----his divorce from Molly was finalized in Oct. 1982. A divorce they say, she wanted.

I liked that the interviewer made a point of directing an equal amount of questions to each. I love Barry and he represents the group well, but usually the other guys end up speaking far less when he takes the lead in interviews. I like hearing what they all had to say and see their interactions.
Never saw this before. It was nice to hear them trying to say something in Spanish. So cute.

Victoria Principal & Molly weren't evil so please stop defaming them. Remember Andy's 1st wife left him while pregnant & went back to Australia, due to his drug problem. And Molly filed for divorce after Robin cheated on her with 100+ women when they were married. What a terrible thing for a married father with 2 young children to do to his family.🙄😳

Before posting this you should gotten rid of the translators voice....it's so loud that you can't hear the gentleman answer the questions. I had to shut it off....it was disappointing.
That's all you heard was the interviewer's voice could not hear the Bee Gees talk at all very disappointing.
Did the Bee Gees have any hits into the 80's?? Barry was writing for others like Dionne Warwick "Heartbreaker" a real gem of a song but as a group no hit songs I recall.
Robin Gibb did three solo albums in the 80's. His song "Juliet" was a top ten hit in several European countries in 1983. "Boys Do Fall in Love" was #8 on the US Billboard Dance Disco top 80 in 1984. By the way, all brothers get credit for "Heartbreaker." Also the album "Guilty" for Barbara Streisand. Four of those songs were written by Barry and Robin, and the title track was written by all three brothers. I don't think they had any hit songs as a group though.
