Bee Gees sing the best love songs, hands down. Their songs are full of emotion and feelings which make them even more romantic and heartfelt. Love the Bee Gees so much.

Well now .... I just happen to turn to a radio station, in the Philadelphia, PA area, that I normally don't listen to. Beginning June 1st, there will be a 'Summer with the Bee Gees.'
I don't subscribe to SiriusXM, but recently read for those who do or are interested in them getting a Bee Gees channel....that there was a form or something subscribers could submit online & if enough interest, then Sirius would consider it.
That's so true, their interview on Parkinson in 2001 was really funny, I still don't understand this obsession with praising the Beatles so much, they were the first so what, Thee Bee Gees are far superior to the Beatles!
Sure, the Beatles were good (and in my honest opinion quite overrated) but I much prefer The Bee Gees! Amazing songwriters, perfect harmonies, totally lovable personalities and obviously very handsome, and were always able to reinvent themselves over and over as the decades rolled on (something the Beatles don’t have on them!). I’m always happy to brag about The Bee Gees being my favourite band!
Yep. Beatles overrated. Bee Gees were superb at reinventing themselves. But more than that, they did whatever music they did at any time and it was theirs.

It is quite unsettling to think that had Arif Mardin not asked for some high pitched screaming ad libs on the Nights on Broadway song The Bee Gees might have been a very different group, and only God knows what Saturday Night Fever would have been like.
@cybaker1982 They played in Sydney and I believe were the first to play at the new Sydney stadium, they also played at Wembley in England, Argentina and South Africa, I may of missed one or two but they are the ones I remember, there are some videos on You tube of performances from the Sydney concert.
Incredible!! Thank you so much for sharing this!!! In the US we were lucky to have this album earlier, I believe it came out late April/early May of '97. Their One Night Only concert in Las Vegas was during the summer of '97...did they play at any other venues then?
@@raymondnguyen5813 These brothers are too nice to do that. They only did that to Clive Owen because it seemed he was attacking them intentionally. Barry held his temper as long as he could, but got fed up when Clive wouldn't stop. Robin, and then Maurice followed. All you youngsters need to be reminded - it all began with the Beatles - a whole massive change in our society. Before that era people were referred to as Adults or Children. The word Teenager evolved around this time. It was liberating! The Bee Gees themselves tell us how influenced they were by them. You have know idea, the anticipation that would build, up waiting for the release of their upcoming albums. We would all pile in one car, and head to the coast, and wait to hear it on the radio.
To the person who said, "if I'm on my deathbed, I want to hear Bohemian Rhapsody and Words one last time": YES! I'm right there with ya, bro! Absolutely! I was just talking to my husband this evening about how overrated the Beatles are and we finally came to the conclusion that the teenagers who grew up on the Beatles' music have such an affinity for their songs because that was the time when teenagers started rebelling against their parents and authority figures and this was a fond memory for them, and the Beatles helped facilitate that societal change. Allmayful talks about how liberating it all felt - again, this was a positive emotion / positive experience that the teenagers of that era associate with this music so naturally they're going to have an affinity for the music because the music reminds them of a happy memory. I do the same thing with the music of the early 70's.
in the middle of the interview they talk about everyone competing to be the same. The plan worked, and now, music is terrible. Bring back those, (as the Bee Gee's were and their music still resonates) With exceptional musical prowess and lets get back to the spectacular fan fair of music. This new music is terrible.
