Hi Lisa I'm from Australia and seeing this made me remember not that I'd forgotten. I was a 13 year old girl at the time I went to the Bee Gees concert with my mum and Dad. I had a huge crush on Robin. After the concert we all went back stage to get their Autographs . I lined up to get Robins Autograph and someone at the back pushed forward and I fell over and I started to cry but I tried to hide it I didnt want Robin to see. Next thing I knew someone lifted me up and he asked if I was ok. I looked up to answer him and I couldn't believe it it was Robin, He got me to stand away and I thought I wasn;t going to get his autograph. Then I saw him say something to a security man. Then Robin Signed his Autograph on their new LP ONE and he gave it to me. He was so genuinely kind and caring. That was a night I would never forget and that was a night I wished I was 10 years older. He was so kind Any other group probably would leave me On the ground But not Robin.

This video shows what caring, humble, and goodhearted people the Bee Gees are. They gave so much personal touch to make one of their fans extremely surprised and unbelieavably happy. Not many famous or well known 'stars' would go out of their way to do something like this. They also gave so much to charities and to fight causes like diabetes. BEE GEES ARE THE BEST! (RIP: Andy, Maurice and Robin) Sing with the angels!
Mo & Barry are such Gentlemen. Each of them keeping a hand on Linda's back to keep her balanced & on her feet. SO SWEET!! Me, personally, I would have fainted, right then & there. OMG! Barry was SO CUTE the way he popped his head around that corner. Barry, Robin & Maurice are all such WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL Men! MIss Robin, Mo & Andy, Every Single Day.... Love them, now & Forever...
What a wonderful gift for your Mum. ! These men (The Bee Gees) are so kind, and loving. It would have been something to be part of their family, to have grown up with them. Can you imagine! Laughter all the time.

I agree with everything u say about the BeeGees.They are thorough gentlemen Barbara a d Hugh brought them up that way. They remained compassionate and caring throughout their lives and Barry Gibb is still that way.❤
How very LUCKY of your Mom, and how very THOUGHTFUL of you. I've LOVED the Bee Gees and still do, but I've never had the chance to go to any of their concerts.....one thing I'll always regret. I couldn't afford it then. They are the BEST group ever. RIP Maurice and Robin. Your songs will live forever.

I wrote to the show as mum & dad had had a few deaths in the family and also a burglary - in which among a lot of other things, my mum's whole beegees collection got stolen. They didn't tell me that the Bee Gee's would definately be there, but the researcher said they would do what they could. So until the actual show I didn't know for definate is they would show up or not. My mum thought I'd won a night's stay in London to see the recording of a television show and stay in a lovely hotel. :)
The Bee Gee's, a fabulous group, so talented to be able to produce all the songs they did, not only for themselves, but for other artists too! It was particularly nice of Barry to say to Linda "Thanks for caring, love" as he walked away to prepare to sing. That CD is very good, I'm learning to play the song 'Blue Island' on my Yamaha Keyboard, just love it. So good to watch this again after all these years.

The bee gees were really the best . I was forunate to see them live back in 1991 . in birmingham nec . All the shows ive seen over the years there show was amazing . They really do show compasion to there fans . I remember shouting i love uou maurice . He looked up from his keyboard & said i love you to . He melted my heart he really did bless him . You've done your Mum a "Solid", young lady. I don't know of anything any greater for her, from listening to the story about how much she and your Father love the Bee Gees.
