Bee Gees ,the most successful bands for over 40 years.Their talent is amazing. They work hard and have produced quality music ,song after song. Can't get enough of them.
BeeGees are the best that walks this earth.. best songwriters and singers.. they stayed humble despite their success.. it's so sad that Rob, Mo and Andy were gone❤❤❤❤❤
The BeeGees were the best band in the world. I grew up listening to them. I'm just sorry I never got to attend a concert. All the other groups were jealous of them, that's why other producers were trying to break them apart. You can't break a bond that strong. I have always loved these guys and always will. I am a truck driver and I listen to them on RUclips while I'm driving. It brings love to my heart as soon as I hear them. Thank you Barry for carrying on the legacy.
The truth...truth..truth..all these fans are the reason the Beegees worked so hard to stay vital and their work is the result.. glorious..poetry.. alive and well in our BEEGEES. They're having as much fun as we are, that's what makes them great..it's contagious!!!! ❤❤❤
Sooo true..they love what they do..and they love pleasing us..all their fans.. I love those boys so much because they are so hard working and innocen...they are an enigma in the pop music world.❤❤❤❤
This is where I came in. The Bee Gees was before their time. They are the best group ever hands down. I am a African American woman I grew up as a teenager with them I am 58 years old now I am their number one fan. Love their music. RIP Maurice, Robin, Andy ❤️ you Barry stay strong you are in my prayers.
The disco backlash was so wrong. In Australia we always loved you, regardless of what you sang. Talent is talent and the BeeGees had it in spades❤️❤️❤️
The "rockers" were jealous that the BeeGees took the world by storm. They couldn't knock them off the charts for the longest time. What else could it be? The BeeGees were immensely important, and on top of their game throughout their career. Most people I talk to consider them the all-time best. Better than the Beatles. The Beatles lost me with their Sgt. Peppers album. The BeeGees produced far better.
Quite a few factors were involved in the brutal Disco backlash. One was as Barry stated " Over-saturation!" And Barry said they feared this would happen if they did not pull back somewhat. And Yes, Barry said this Before ANY Backlash started! That's why he and his brothers would turn down interviews at the Height of their Fever fame days. Over-exposure to that extent is never a good thing. So Barry knew this and he was right that the Bubble Had to Burst and of course, ....It Did, and in a Big Big Way!😨 But yeah, there were other factors involved as well.
The radio overplayed their music because they had 5 hits at once on the billboard top 10. Then the radio djs just stopped. And the American public ( me) missed a lot of the later hits because of that! Im just now discovering those later hits!
BeeGee’s songs are happened to be very good for dancing it is not meant to be for disco they are really so innocent and got hurt badly But they are so brave and so smart to find a way to get back to their feet really admire their persistence Barry. Is such a decent and responsible person give up smoking for the duty of being a good father and husband He worked so hard for all his life to achieve what he is today He still in great shape at the age of 77 Green Field is such a touching and beautiful album Barry Keep doing more beautiful music for your die hard fans May God bless you
These men just drive me crazy, I love them so much! They are manly, they are tender, they love their special woman! And, they express these feelings so tenderly!
My big brother is much older than me, 20 years older. When I told him I liked the Bee Gees he was like oh I didnt know you like funk, disco and soul. Then I told my father and he was surprised because for him The Bee Gees is the pop/rock of the 60s, like the Beatles. I started listening to Bee Gees in 1998 when they released the Still Waters-album. Little did I know my friends at the time also listened to them, and they probably didnt know it either. The HipHop-heads listened to them in sampled form, the girls listened to the boy bands like Boyzone and Take That that did covers of the Bee Gees. Bee Gees is more than a band. I cant come up with any other musical artist that has had this impact on popular music!
I am thankful that they stand up to the negativity. We do what makes us happy and that is all that matters. So thankful they stood their ground and kept making music!!
I’m 76 years old, a year older than Barry , and have been a devoted fan since I was 16 and they were very young boys in Australia. They are still my loves forever xxx
Always will love the Bee Gees, they were all so so talented. I absolutely loved Robin's beautiful voice. Wish Robin and Maurice were still here.. I honestly think the Bee Gees were most loved group of all time.
I know I will always love the BeeGees too and I wish they were still alive in this life I will always want them to be alive in this life and nobody can take that away from me because I will always love them and never get away from it 😢😩😭😔😉❤️💕
I so agree with you, and about Robin, I adored him and his ethereal voice. Followed them, grew up listening to them in the 60s 70s 80s 90s and 2000. Miss them but am so grateful to them for sharing their beautiful voices and songs, their music will forever be there, its great seeing different generations watching them today 2023
I love Barry's versatile vocals, the one who could sing absolutely anything & with anyone. Sorry, but Robin was stuck in a monotonous quivering vibrato. He needed one of his brothers for an accompaniment.
The Bee Gees were right up there with All the greats. They were genius’ They stayed grounded, humble, never took their fame for granted. They had their very own sound and wrote all their own music and lyrics. Can’t say that about a lot of rock pop bands. The fact that they were family and had a tremendous love of family in my opinion made them great as well. Just 100% great people. I’m sad that we lost Maurice and Robin, but The Bee Gees music will live on forever. Thank God we still have Barry to keep on giving us more. ❤️❤️
Hervorragende Video! Danke. Danke Jungs! ❤️
These guys ooze talent, perfection and genius. I could listen to them endlessly. Not just singing but talking through their lives. They have overcome so much! Their critics are idiots eaten up with jealousy. My personal opinion is that I think they passed the Beatles long ago. I respect them for leaving the destructive behaviors behind and putting their responsibilities first. Their creativity and talent is a gift...they have taken it to a level never achieved by most. So down to earth. So sad that Two thirds of the group is gone. Barry does a great job of keeping their legacy alive!
I never thought they were anything like the Beatles. BeeGees were more classy, harmonic, and original - as Mo said, it was natural. It came from their brotherhood. Gosh! I wish we could bring them back!
Bee gees is the label and should have no other trash talk. This music is priceless and people should be honored to have such a unique and exciting music
I think during the late 70's The Bee Gees music was more important than The Beatles. Those 5 years or so were wonderful and the night clubs or discotheques if you like were packed out.Everyone wanted to dance to The Bee Gees music. There were even dozens of underage or under 18's disco that sprung up too.The Bee Gees owned all the Charts around the world.Total respect forever to The Bee Gees.
I agree. The Bee Gees were very relevant at the time. They wrote great songs and had hit after hit. Such wonderful memories and music that still stands today. Both bands were amazing song writers and are legends but that time belonged to the genius of the Gibb brothers.
True dat, 100. The disco scene was awesome, some were just getting mad cause they can't dance and groove with the fast disco beat. It was hella fun, too bad so sad for them.
QTUSA you hit the nail on the head. Anyone who couldn’t dance worth a shit, hated disco music and always said disco sucks. Disco was a style and new sound of dance music and dance music has and will always be around in various forms and styles.
@@georgemusic4all4seasons Yep, those didn't like disco because they look stupid glued to the floor with slow feet while the rest of us were shredding it up.
ddjdd wfgggb Bee gees owned the world chart at the time, that happened. deal with that. don"t be such a pathetic fan. even beattles said the bee gees is better
The BeeGees will always live in my heart. I have loved them since I first heard them at about twelve years of age. I'm now 62. It hurts me that more people don't love and respect them- they were truly a talented yet humble group. Their harmonies are phenonenal!
The Bee Gees are the ICONS, talented, authentic, humble, inspiring, generous, more. They have challenges along the way but they were persistent and motivated to keep on writing songs, producing...They have their own unique voices, talent, gift since they were kids. The Bee Gees have magnificent magical voices.
What a shame that the Bee Gees were judge because of the music from Saturday Night Fever. They sang Beautiful music before Fever and after fever. They were GREAT WRITERS and SINGERS. ALL OF THEM. Something that is lacking in today's music. Meaning, Lyrics, Rythem. They were the Best and I will continue listening to them today. They are GREAT MUSICIANS.. LOVE YOU BEE GEES NOW and forever...
Barry Gibb: I just want you to know that we loved all your music. We are the true fans. It is just the critics and who really listen's to them any way. I still love all your music and always will......
I loved them before and after but, the disco type music just didn’t move me at all. Cant dance so sour grapes? Maybe, maybe not. Their body of work is massive.
I enjoyed that period, as I was in college and going to the club was all the rage, but as far as the music goes, I like the periods before and after best because I love to sing and I love amazing harmonies and as a mezzo-soprano, I couldn't even touch that falsetto stuff.
I agree with you robin with your statement in the 1993 interview that yous deserve more respect you all do you were the greatest group to live on this earth god bless you robin for speaking up yourselves
True. They do deserve more respect than they've got. most of the time, people'd like to see you do good, but when becomes too good, they.... just dont like that. Sad. Stay healthy guys.
I still love Staying Alive and Night Fever, which was called DISCO music and I could never get enough of it. Totally brilliant songs! It was pure jealousy that caused the backlash and I wish it wouldn’t have affected the BeeGees that much. I love all their music. BeeGees forever!!!❤️❤️❤️
Can we just acknowledge Robins amazing vocals? Especially in his last three albums, he just kept getting better and his range was phenomenal. I loved Barry and Maurice too but Robin was the one who could always surprise me. On his last solo album is a song called “Solid” it’s amazing in its depth.
At 23:56 I love how Robin saw instantly that the creep of an interviewer was being patronizing and demeaning with his statements and form of questions!!..Robin ALMOST walks out..but instead stays.. and between him and Mo and Barry completely shuts the idiot down.. by simply flinging a few facts in his smirky ole face!!..Loved it!!..and Love Robin forever!!!
Love them all. Sadly small minds were unfair to them often. I think it highlights the power of image. They were not style conscious like other bands and I think it affected how they were treated. However, their humility and honesty unlike any other band is what fans love. The media and music world is fickle that's why there is so much 'style' and no substance. Bee gees are all substance.
I LOVE IT TO GIRL THE BEE GEES WERE REAL TO BLACK WHITE MEXICAN WHO EVER HAD GOOD ENOUGH EARS TO KNOW WHAT REAL MUSIC WAS AND IS THEY ALLL GOT PISSED EVEN MAURICE STUPID MOTHERFUCKIN INTERVIEWS THEY HAD TO DO A LOT OF THEM DURING THE COURSE OF THEIR CAREERS BUT ROBIN IS A PERSON WHO DOESN'T TAKE SHIT WHEN PEOPLE PUT DOWN THEIR MUSIC HE ALWAYS SAID THEY DID R&B MUSIC PERIOD NOT DISCO BUT R&B 😡
@@user-xh9rw3wh3m In my belief, the Bee Gees had style. It just wasn't the style others wanted them to have. I love the Bee Gees for who they were. No pretense whatesoever.
You can never have another group that sounds like them the way they were brought up they were humble and I knew what they wanted from an early childhood they are amazing they're unbelievable number one they will never be duplicated nobody will ever take their place it is only them three I love the Bee Gees
BeeGees, the most successful and classic three brothers in the history of pop music. No one can surpass it so far. BeeGees' classic songs are always rumored.
i was a raver kid in the late 90's and the beegees were probably the most sampled and played band, easily. anywhere you went. i was in college in richmond, virginia, and the beegees were very much a part of my experience. they were just as relevant as they were in the late 70's. i used to listen to how deep is your love on constant repeat. and even today i listen to them non stop. and if i go to a dance club, without fail, someone spins or plays the beegess and the whole club goes nuts. you cant not dance when fever is played. you just cant.
The Beatles will be remembered (if we are still here) in 500 years along with Bach and Beethoven...and add to that illustrious list the Bee Gees. Every bit as good as the Beatles..........an amazing thing to say, but it is absolutely the truth. Go, Bee Gees..forever in our hearts.
Robin's. "I started a joke" belongs in the music hall of fame, along with robin. A true masterpiece! There's nothing like it. And robin's performance is masterful. Songs like this don't come around very often.
Some of their music is in the hall of fame. But Robin certainly isn't better than his brothers. Especially not Barry, who was their primary songwriter.
I loved this interview. The guys were all so relaxed and real! Maybe that’s because they were in their own studio, l don’t know. Whatever the reason, they were all too precious. I miss both the twins and hope Barry stays healthy.
Instagram. were simply the most amazing band ever in my mind. it seemed like the critics and journalists wanted to denigrate them at every turnm..They wrote and sang so many songs in different genres across 5 decades. Barry is still going strong after 64 years of creating amazing music. Their songs have become classics!
ADORABLES . !!!❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏8
Bee Gees are the legend, ICONS, humble, charming, talented, GIFTED...They will always be remembered forever. Unique voices and songs. I applaud them they never give up.
I absolutely love the Bee Gees...greatest band in the world..how could one family be so talented..gone to soon..gone but not forgotten...love u Barry..
What can ever be said about the Bee Gees that hasn't been said. They were talented & used their talent well. Best of the Best. Too bad Andy, Maurice & Robin were gone too soon. God bless Barry & keep performing
I am going to bed i have been up too late listening to BeeGee's music/interviews and wanted to scroll thru all the comments but I just wanted to say I love 💘 the BeeGee's they are one of a kind no one could match them...one thing i love about those brothers they never came off cocky even though they knew they were big they always seemed so humble and down to earth! Mad respect to Barry for having to outlive his brothers that must be so hard when you're the oldest!
43:26 my favorite part of this interview, they were all funny with their funny accents 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂especially Robin his english accent so really love to hear whenever he spoke😍😍😊😊😊
I still have my Bee Gees CD! God! Not only were they handsome as hell but they could really sing and if you close your eyes and listen to the words, they made you feel things you had never felt before. I still get chills when I listen to the words of songs... It takes you back in time to a very special place. I'll love them for that talent forever!
Louisa Ti What a liar you are. Both Barry and Rob wrote lyrics, but it’s fact, Barry has written more tracks than Rob! You continue to attempt to rewrite history but you can’t. Many long time fans are still around and we know their history!
Louisa Ti It is okay to like one Bee Gee better thsn another but i agree with KL , you must not create FAUX NEWS. Recognize it took all three to create these great songs. Sources for your remarks need to come directly from Mo, Barry or Robin from a real interview anyone can find on RUclips or direct quotes from a magazine or newspaper. What is YOUR SOURCE? You must not confuse your OPINION with what is FACT. Otherwise your opinions are just gossip. You may want to listen to our Bee Gees when they sing "Jive Talkin" because it is wrong to be spreading lies. As fans, we owe it to the Bee Gees to preserve their reputations.
"Saturday Night Fever" is PHENOMENAL music. These men were PHENOMENAL songwriters, phenomenal vocalists, phenomenal live performers. Disco is music, and it was great music. I don't understand why Disco is put down.
I loved the Bee Gees, I'm 77 and been listening to them for ever years and years and I still love the music and I'm playing it right now even though it's only Barry so proud of you all and everything you accomplished and your brothers are standing there we just don't see them🙏🏼
Phew!..whooh!! This is 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I'm so blown! Don't need the drug at all.. BeeGees is some of the enough to satisfy me.. interviews, songs, performances..the lot. Hey..even just a picture...❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
wow I don't know how I missed this compilation of exquisite Bee Gees, they are so authentic, genuine, genius, dignified, and so hip to what is going on around them ... at around 29.2 Robin talks about his mortality, little did he know. They seem to be very harmonious here and respectful of their work and each other. Can I say one more time I ah-dore them!!! They are my portal to joy, somehow they are my friends!
There should have never been any backlash...period! Disco was a music phase EVERYBODY went through. And at it's height, people loved it. I don't understand why the Bee Gees, alone, suffered for their role at the time. Why did people hone in on Fever? They had so many hits before - why peg them for something EVERYONE was doing?? I'm glad that had the fortitude to make it through without quitting! I, for one, will always revere those late 70's early 80's tunes! They are a staple of my childhood.
+tgreer72 tgreer, It was the fault of the radio stations back at that time. They would play those talented guys to death because they had so many songs in the top 10 at the time. Even though folks (like me) still loved them very much the radio was killing them and lots of other folks were growing tired of them, which in turn was what created the backlash. They were right that a lot of other artists were also doing the disco thing, but since they had the biggest fame from it they were the ones that suffered the heat for it. Now today I like to listen to stations that play 70's, 80's, and some 90's songs, but they only seem to be able to come up with about 10 to 15 songs or so and they play them over, and over, and over again. Really?? Come on I KNOW that there were a lot more good songs around than that, so where are they? The BeeGees have sort of gotten left out of the mix and passed over. Of course radio has always had it's own agenda, which is mostly about it's ratings. But the BeeGees were a group that proved that they were survivors. Oh yeah tgreer, I revere the 70's and early 80's also. Had some memorable times back then, and the music was such a part of our lives.
+Rose Barnes I agree with you completely here...especially about them really being passed over now. I listen to various "80's" stations and I rarely hear a bee gee tune. I did actually hear Nights on Broadway a few nights ago...but, yes, it's RARE, unfortunately!! I guess it will depend on us to spread the word to the younger generations! :)
As I recall, there was a DJ (in Chicago?) who started the whole backlash thing, organizing people to destroy their Bee Gees records. In an interview (years afterward) he said it was jealousy. He was not a dancer and felt he (and men like him) couldn't get the girls, plus he was tired of playing the Bee Gees... who totally dominated the charts. Bottom line, it was the insane popularity of the Bee Gees that created a desire to destroy them by those filled with neurotic insecurities.
It may have been because disco music represented the possibility of racial harmony. Many people of different races enjoyed playing, singing and dancing to that style of music. And some forces in the world were not happy with that. Look at the film 'Saturday Night Fever' and all the different races of people dancing in the nightclub scenes.
everyone who reaches a certain level of public consumption or popularity gets ripped to pieces by the media. it happened to elvis. it happened to michael jackson. it happened to sinatra. it happened to the beatles. i remember it vividly in the early 90's people joking on the beatles. it happens when people want a new sound. and since the beegees encompassed nearly the entirety of the current sound, there was only one way to go. but the true test of a musicians historical impact happens once people return to the sound... and the beegees have passed that test with flying colors. where as in the mid 80's people would pick them apart, now its a ridiculous notion to insult the beegees and regard them as anything less than legends. i feel bad that they didnt understand that trend as they were living through it. it must have hurt. they didnt deserve it. but it didnt last. and they are, once again, regarded as the amazing artists theyve always been. and i love that. and i hope barry knows that.
Barry Gibb, thank you you so much for all the amazing songs through the years. You are an amazing songwriter and singer performer. We all miss your brothers 💔
You can't survive in the entertainment world for very long without a pretty thick skin and especially with the ups and downs the Bee Gees had. Robin never quite managed to ignore criticism as well as Barry and Maurice did. Although it's easy enough to see why when you consider how mean a lot of the comments he got on his physical appearance and unusual voice. I think it made him very defensive. I just read somewhere in the RUclips's vast desert that Pa Gibb was kind of funny-mean to Robin and compared his voice to bleating sheep. Meant as a joke but probably not received as one. . That can't have helped build confidence in a painfully shy person, as Robin has described himself I'm being an armchair psychiatrist here which I'm quick to point fingers when anyone else does it. In the words of Oscar Wilde "I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself."
I just LOVE seeing these boys striding abreast ... like THEY’RE GOING SOMEWHERE!!! They certainly did do exactly that!! Love these creative geniuses who shared their hearts with us and have given us beautiful music!
First time I have seen this interview!! Absolutely great, I enjoyed every minute of it. The Bee Gee's harmonic voices, their inspiring stories, their sense of humor!, etc, etc. Fabulous. Thanks you!!!
The best disco fever ever in my life. I experienced it and it’s so great and I didn’t even know that there is a backlash. I love it and went disco dancing with my friends,
Ich auch, liebe Bee Gees seit 1967. Zu Zeit brauche die Videos und Musik jeden Tag. Bin dankbar, dass ich ihre Musik so lange genießen darf. Wunderbare Zeit ist hinter mir. Danke Jungs! ❤️🙏🌷
I would have gone anywhere with Maurice❤️❤️I never thought Mo got his deserved recognition, but towards the end of his life he seemed to be more of himself. When he stepped to the front he was just pure sex appeal. The Brothers Gibb will be loved and missed forever❤️❤️❤️
Jessie Myrle Once Maurice had dealt with his demons and had support for it, we saw the real man. Wonderful. Look at the BBC show Fighting Back to understand his change. It was great.
Glenys Barratt yes I have watched the doc so many times , and every time I do I come away in total awe of the man. I also feel all problems hav a solution, but it takes work and determination. The man was special, there was so much wrapped up in one person. He was hard as nails and gentle as a kitten. And he is missed by so many more than his beautiful wife and kids and family💔💔🌹
Ohne Grund trinkt kein Mensch Grenzlos Alkohol. Noch nie! Seit 1967 bin Maurice Fan. Habe immer wieder das Gefühl gehabt, dass er Seine große Potenzial im Band nicht vollständig ausleben könnte. Er war eine große artige Musiker und liebte seine Familie. RIP Mo 🙏❤️🌹
A most interesting interview, which gladly goes beyond the 60's and 70's... The Bee Gees were extraordinary, and they kept on writing memorable (unrated) gems. It is nice to see their post disco story as well.. Great job rescuing this material. Bee Gees, artists of the millenium.
How I wish I could have seen these talented brothers in a live concert. I saw several famous acts, but would have traded all of them for the Bee Gees. I am just a couple years younger than the twins would have been today. This ol' gal gets teary at times knowing that Maurice and Robin are gone from us. I appreciate the videos that I can watch as if I were right there. Thank you Berry. You are loved by so many of us. God bless you always. DEME in BAMA
Loved this, and especially the humour re romancing the wives. "How long you gonna be in that bathroom?" from Robin had me in fits! These guys are always a joy to listen to.
Robin Setty There is another callex Keppel Road part one and two even better than this one . I love the Bee Gees ...keep looking for more videos on RUclips.
Love watching the interviews with the brother Gibbs...so down to earth and so funny...absolutely beautiful men...as individual singer they were great but together they were a group like no other...I grew up listening to the Bee Gees and still do today...no other group had 4 decades of hit song and if I'm not mistaken Barry as a solo carried that to 5 decades...the most talented extraordinary amazing group in history...they wrote every song and the melody even wrote hit songs for other artists...gorgeous compassionate loving men...I love you Bee Gees your music will live on forever...❤
I love them forever. They were rock n roll. Robin was awesome he didnt take no crap. They deserve more respect they were the best then now and forever in my eyes. There music gave me so much happiness. Love them all. Just so sad Barry's all that's left.... Bee Gees fan till I die 😘
I know what interview clip you are referring to. Yup, Robin had had enough! Notice how cool, calm and collected his twin, Mo, stayed though? That seemed to calm Robin down as well, and he decided to stay instead of walking off.😜😎
Love their humor and banter back and forth at 42 minutes. Im so sad they aren’t all here now. I never got to see a live concert, yet have been a fan since the first moment i heard them . Thank you guys.
I guess there was something wrong with me because I didn't love the Beatles... I DO LOVE THE BEE GEES FOREVER!!! The Beatles are OKAY. But the Bee Gees are HOT AND THEIR MUSIC IS GREAT,,,
I felt the same way. I liked many of the Beatles' songs but IMO, the Bee Gees were much more interesting, and I Ioved their different styles. Their 60s and early 70s songs were great!!!.I was just a kid. As a teenager, I went wild for their blue eyed soul and R&B style beginning in 1974..I fell completely in love with Barry in 1977. I never looked back after that. I have been hooked ever since..I spent alot of time in used record stores and managed to acquire all of their recordings from their years in Australia until today! I purchased all the magazines with articles, pictures and/or interviews .
Beetles Musik berührte mich nicht. The Bee Gees nach 54 Jahre immer noch! - bis heute! Jungs, ich liebe euch! Herzlichen Dank für die große artige Musik. Die größte Geschenk für meine Seele. Danke ! RIP Mo, Ro und Andy. Gott segne Berry ❤️🙏🌹
23:53 Disco clubs of the 70's were amazing! So was the rock, pop, and metal of the 80's. The Bee Gees were an important part of that whole era with almost 300 million albums sold. Respect.

Love all of them including Andy. God bless the souls of the 3 bros and their father. Not sure if their mother is still alive, may God take good care of her.

I do my own thinking and don't just follow a trend because someone tells me what I should be listening to or what is in or out. I am able to listen and learn so much more about them and there music thanks to the internet.

Yay!
Well said ❣️
Quite a few factors were involved in the brutal Disco backlash.
BeeGee’s songs are happened to be very good for dancing it is not meant to be for disco they are really so innocent and got hurt badly
But they are so brave and so smart to find a way to get back to their feet really admire their persistence
Barry. Is such a decent and responsible person give up smoking for the duty of being a good father and husband
He worked so hard for all his life to achieve what he is today
He still in great shape at the age of 77
Green Field is such a touching and beautiful album
Barry Keep doing more beautiful music for your die hard fans
May God bless you
The greatest live band ever, they sounded even better in concert than their recordings. I feel so lucky to have seen them perform. God bless them
These men just drive me crazy, I love them so much!
How great that you have good taste in music.

I absolutely love this group. They were always there to help me enjoy my teenage years. I was so sad to see them have to
the ignorance of a few!!!
After 5 decades of award winning music I don’t know how anyone can question their choice of recordings?
They wrote their songs in in minutes.
They're the best, no one's better, including Beatles. Bee Gees is G.O.A.T.
I am thankful that they stand up to the negativity. We do what makes us happy and that is all that matters. So thankful they stood their ground and kept making music!!
❤❤❤❤❤
I’m 76 years old, a year older than Barry , and have been a devoted fan since I was 16 and they were very young boys in Australia. They are still my loves forever xxx
I’m a die hard Bee Gees fan since I was 8 years old AND I’m 52 years old! Their songwriting is pure poetry and the music puts their poetry in motion.
Totally agree 🎶 ♥️
Они талантише!!!❤
Always will love the Bee Gees, they were all so so talented. I absolutely loved Robin's beautiful voice. Wish Robin and Maurice were still here.. I honestly think the Bee Gees were most loved group of all time.
Yes! Sie wahren die aller Beste! ❤️❤️❤️
no no give the Beatles their due
I danced to thier music in the 1960,s and Robin grave me his autograph on top of the pops with Sir Jimmy Saville playing the fool.

Reba Byrd well saying!!!
All was jealousy 🙏
Great
You nailed it man !!

Reba, Great comment
..thanks !!!
I never thought they were anything like the Beatles. BeeGees were more classy, harmonic, and original - as Mo said, it was natural. It came from their brotherhood.
Gosh! I wish we could bring them back!
I do too x
YOU WERE SENT TO US AND YOU TOUCHED EVERYONES HEART
I made an immediate connection to the tenderness and beauty of their music
Very well said Ellen
Me too. RIP Andy, Maurice (my favourite) and Robin. Robin and Maurice would have been 71 on Dec 22/2020.
To me, the greatest band..... the best in songwriting and performing.... and so humble!!
We are still enjoying their music and always will.
Always x
Bee gees is the label and should have no other trash talk. This music is priceless and people should be honored to have such a unique and exciting music

As singers,as persons im a die hard fan of the beegees...very down to earth...very humble ...bee gees forever
I have been listening to the BeeGees since the 60’s. I am now 82 and still fall in love with them. Their songs and music were and are the best ever.
Legends! The Bee Gees were naturally talented but worked very hard for decades. All their rewards were deserved.

One of the most outstanding songwriting teams ever! They rival the Beatles in their appeal and genius.
Mo had the most infectious smile. Love them all.
I am from trinadad and we all love the bee gees
Maurice had a sexy voice when he sang the Closer than close, Middle men....
I agree that Mo had such a seductive smile and a big smile .
They were so funny too.
I love the bee gees. I wish they were still here singing together. What special guys!
You go Robin! The best voices on earth! we love the Bee Gees!❤️❤️❤️❤️
It's too bad they had to defend their music. I loved them even after the disco era.
@@wendieking4184 I loved the disco era
@@Sam-cg6rv I liked the disco era as well. I love just about every kind of music!

I agree with you robin with your statement in the 1993 interview that yous deserve more respect you all do you were the greatest group to live on this earth god bless you robin for speaking up yourselves
Amen Robin Gibb
KarBen 2020 - Plus "Days of Wine and Roses", "Don't Cry Alone" and a couple others.

Can anybody match them???? NO.XX
I’ve always liked Barry and Robin and Maurice and Andy and always will 😔😉😩😭😢❤️💝💕💗❤️🩹
Music legends but no ego. Love the BeeGees and always will!

The BEE GEES did something to your heart just when you needed it the most.
So true. Thanks for sharing this
Thats interesting. Glad people still listen to them. They could sing (and write)

Dannette. Robin wrote the lyrics ever since they got back to England in 1967, most of them are amazing!

It is okay to like one Bee Gee better thsn another but i agree with KL , you must not create FAUX NEWS.

Sources for your remarks need to come directly from Mo, Barry or Robin from a real interview anyone can find on RUclips or direct quotes from a magazine or newspaper.

Ivy Vines d
It may have been because disco music represented the possibility of racial harmony. Many people of different races enjoyed playing, singing and dancing to that style of music. And some forces in the world were not happy with that. Look at the film 'Saturday Night Fever' and all the different races of people dancing in the nightclub scenes.
Best group ever and you can hear every word they sing ❤❤
everyone who reaches a certain level of public consumption or popularity gets ripped to pieces by the media. it happened to elvis. it happened to michael jackson. it happened to sinatra. it happened to the beatles. i remember it vividly in the early 90's people joking on the beatles. it happens when people want a new sound. and since the beegees encompassed nearly the entirety of the current sound, there was only one way to go. but the true test of a musicians historical impact happens once people return to the sound... and the beegees have passed that test with flying colors. where as in the mid 80's people would pick them apart, now its a ridiculous notion to insult the beegees and regard them as anything less than legends. i feel bad that they didnt understand that trend as they were living through it. it must have hurt. they didnt deserve it. but it didnt last. and they are, once again, regarded as the amazing artists theyve always been. and i love that. and i hope barry knows that.

Loved watching this, as I’m a huge Bee Gees fan and can never get enough of their music and style and sexy looks!
I love them forever. They were rock n roll. Robin was awesome he didnt take no crap. They deserve more respect they were the best then now and forever in my eyes. There music gave me so much happiness. Love them all. Just so sad Barry's all that's left.... Bee Gees fan till I die 😘
The moral of the story is this. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE ROBIN HUGH GIBB. He'll cut you down in second if he has to.
I dont care if they sound like the beatles or be classed as a disco group, will always love them x
NO BODY can compete with the bee gees. They will always be. No.1
I grew up hearing their songs all the time....they will never die and so close to my heart.
I guess there was something wrong with me because I didn't love the Beatles... I DO LOVE THE BEE GEES FOREVER!!! The Beatles are OKAY. But the Bee Gees are HOT AND THEIR MUSIC IS GREAT,,,
Me too
I felt the same way. I purchased all the magazines with articles, pictures and/or interviews
.
Beetles Musik berührte mich nicht. The Bee Gees nach 54 Jahre immer noch! - bis heute! Jungs, ich liebe euch! Herzlichen Dank für die große artige Musik. Die größte Geschenk für meine Seele. Danke ! RIP Mo, Ro und Andy. Gott segne Berry ❤️🙏🌹
Nothing wrong, that's your taste,I like them both but prefer the Beatles.

23:53 Disco clubs of the 70's were amazing! So was the rock, pop, and metal of the 80's. The Bee Gees were an important part of that whole era with almost 300 million albums sold. Respect.

I like Kepple Road parts one and two better!
I wish Mo and Robbin still around👁👁
Sie beide haben ihre Seele/ Energie für uns da gelassen. Sie sind unter uns !
Awesome interview. Could listen to them all day! Genuine and genius brothers!
I laughed when Barry was asked 😅if it was hard to get into his tight pants and his answer was that it was harder to take them off

I have all ways loved there music regardless of what others may or may not like. I do my own thinking and don't just follow a trend because someone tells me what I should be listening to or what is in or out. I am able to listen and learn so much more about them and there music thanks to the internet.
Me too.I listen too BeeGees ,Eurythmics ,Eros Ramazzotti and Smokie. My favourite is BeeGees.I also have some clothes from the 80 s that i use.I dont care about what other think.
@@maybrittrnningen580 For geniuses, they were treated so badly. I hope they knew how loved they truly were. Especially Robin and Mo. I'm sure Barry feels the love the world has for him.
