Jeffrey Schwanke Skiller is awesome, he wasn't that great in this battle though. He was a little bit sloppy, and if you're sloppy against Ball-zee you get smoked.

That was my favorite part of the whole thing.
That was such a close battle. Can't express how awesome skiller was in his last round. Loved how he used the stuff had used in his candy shop routine
what skiller does that's impressive is he has a really great structure to his beats and they flow together with nice transitions really well. even if they are beats he's used before, he structures them really well, and that's what a lot of beatboxers do. i'm pretty sure (not speaking from experience) but it's really hard to make up really sick beats on the fly in a battle under pressure face to face, so having a slew of beats to do and using the appropriate ones is how the game goes.

Wow Ball-Zee from now is much better from this video. I like his progress, it's amazing. From dirty technical to almost the cleanest beatboxer.

yea Skiller for me's one of the finest veteran b-boxers in the world out there. he may tend to repeat beats and his previous mixes but I highly respect it, because always practicing with the freshest music beats that keep evolving is somehow a twisty thing to keep up.
Ball-Zee is such a good beatboxer and his beats are very very clean :D

you have to look at the grand scale of how well spread his beats are throughout the competition, he has crisp sounds but the psychology of ball-zee is what usually gets him the wins

If someone can replicate your beats, you should change it up.But the point is, No one can do his ultra speed and techniques beats that keeps him winning
people who say ball-zee isnt technical, bullshit. he's also one of the cleanest beatboxers out there.

Jeez why you all hating on skiller man he's one of the best in the world for a reason. other than his speed he sucks that's bull. In order to have that much speed the technicality and precision has to be there so obviously because he can go that fast he doesn't suck at all. And yeah just about every single Beatboxer uses routines more than once, because a good routine works. It's like comedy, even if Louis CK did a skit and you saw it online and than you went and actually watched him perform it, just because he did it more than once does not take away from the fact its really funny and original. Same idea here if the routine is good and you are in the finals why wouldn't you take your own routine that you came up and use it again, seriously like you'd be stupid not too. And the sparkles thing was funny, like seriously if you're going to comment or give your opinion show some fricken respect, it's all love. Stop hating.

Ball Zee will always be considered the cleanest beatboxer in my opinion...and skiller, prob the most hated beatboxer, and not just cause he's the world champ, because he doesn't just beatbox..he uses his hands and hair to get extra attention, but he's still better then most...but 'i think Alem, Ballzee, Reeps are over him.There should be rules in these championships, at 11:30 he takes out his hairtie and starts headbanging? Does that make him better then ballzee at beatboxing and 11:45 he does the loser sound....There should be no bad manners in beatboxing competitions and none of that bullshit
& I understand that Ballzee won this battle, I'm just referencing these things to the other battles he has.

I agree with Feet n Gun. When Skiller does the headbang thing, he always expect the crowd to cheer loudly for him, and it works! He's one of the most popular beatboxers so the crowd must be like "oh it has to be good since he's headbanging" but really it's just a simple beat with a lot of movements. Skiller is always using the same routines with maybe a slight amount of different noises or different orders. He doesn't deserve to make it any farther if he keeps doing the same thing. That's just my opinion though.

i know, everyone's interest is on the battle, but i have to say: Steff la Chef did a great job! So many people are hating her down because of her pronunciation or some like that. I don't understand why. I hope Steff la Chef will hosting more battles in future.

Are you seriously trying to say Ball-Zee had more musicality? What about 3:24 and 3:50 and 7:18 and 10:48. Musicality doesn't mean covering songs. It means making your own music and Skiller demonstrates way more of that.

Ok yea I've seen enough videos to know that skiller does the exact routine every battle he is in. And the confetti thing? he did that exact thing on beasty at the world champion. same beats same tricks. Not that its bad but you cant be called a world champion if you don't show any innovation or new material. Eminem didn't spit the same rhymes in 8 mile. Michael Jackson didn't sing the same songs over and over. weird examples but you know what I mean
I think your right man , if u want to be a artist its important to stick to ones own style but coming up with new Material to show is also important and skiller doesnt lack skills but creativity. He needs to sit down with some people and bring up ideas on how he can use hes skills to come up with new shit.

...What??? That's not the reason why Reeps One couldn't go and he didn't lose the UK Championship on purpose. Reeps One lost to Ball-Zee fair and square in that battle at least to the judges. Where did you hear you can't go to the Grand Beatbox Battle if you win your COUNTRY championship 3 times? Skiller has been the Bulgarian Champion since 2007. Reeps One couldn't go because he was on tour in Spain and the World Championship was the next weekend, he's busy and can't take that much time off.

Skiller has all the time the same style of beatboxing and cuz of that are reeps one,alem, ball-zee,tom thum,beardyman,..over then him, beatbox is another language and cuz of that u need real tehnical skill with a many tehnical sounds not only fast rythm

even though the bearded one is very skilled and i my self am a big fan of him for that matter, he wouldnt what makes beardyman so good and unique is his stage performance and his use of kaosspads and that sort of stuff. try to listen closely to beardymans solo beatboxing and the solo stuf from these guys... way different level of skills and with that i mean mostly technique because like i said before beardyman is amazing on stage but this is something completely different

well skiller does same stuff still because his techniques are so hard no one can replicate because its just too damn fast and technical. You realize this because if you watch alot of beatboxing battles 2nd person on 2nd 1:30 usually will incorporate part of the beat of the other guys(1st guys) set to prove they can do the other guys set(either better or the same). But, watch skillers videos no one can replicate his signature set even close.
In my opinion Ball Zee is way more cleaner, but the way these things work. Is you try and get a standing ovation which skiller is good at, he's very hyper on the stage, which exagerates his performance. Just saying lol, he makes a cool beatbox and just goes crazy with his hands and shit LOL then everyone cheers. :I BOO
i wana see ball-zee mix his beats with reeps-one!! that would be sick. skiller is still great but he needs new material. someone has to do more dupstep beatboxing like dave crow. btw dave crow is sick like legit the top 3 beatboxers of the world. check out neymoonshaker-london-part2 (9;30 minute version)
But there is no musicality in that,and as i am taught beatbox is about the power of the music not just doing sounds with your mouth..people admire skiller because of the fast beats..i haven't seen anybody enjoying his music like they are enjoying Reeps One's..they will scream when he will do a fast beat and then everybody is quiet..
You're not getting the point. If Reeps One won 3 years in a row in the UK Championships, he wouldn't be able to participate in any of these competitions next year. You could see in the 2011 UK vid, Reeps One isn't putting in his best. Get ready for him this upcoming year. He's gonna have a really strong comeback with the style he's came up with this time.

Skiller didn't want to show his face after that last 90 secs of not so good performance. Awwww. He even shook his head in shame at 11:52 through 11:56. I blame the judges for that.

Why in every beat box video some american as too mention soclosetotoast ?? He is not as good as anyone that are in this tournament. You americans really do over rate him just because he beat boxes why playing call of duty.
lol state champ is not a condition for entering GBB, everyone can sign in the competition...
and he said that he went in that battle from a musical side and gave his best but maybe he did wanted to lose....only one person knows...
No offense to Skiller, great beatboxer, but even the mosh and "you lose sound" - ending are getting old + sloppy last 90 second round gave it pretty much easily to Ball-Zee who did something creative and fresh.
Its an inhaled vocal fry at a really high pitch. Think death metal high screams, same technique just without "grit". I am a metal vocalist and in my early days used to find that sound occuring at the end of my screams.

I think that in most circumstances, Skiller would have won but Ball-Zee was sick in the last round and Skiller was a little dry for ideas. They didn't really care who won anyway though haha
