Yep. It is. The fast inhale exhale is his. The official video of him performing inward drag for the first time is on RUclips. Search Reeps One inward drag
I hate it how on youtube people can get millions of views with out showing any sign of talent and get hundreds of thousands of likes reeps deserves all that shit cause he actually has talent! :D
Beardyman did use to battle, In 2006 Beardyman battled to become UK Beatbox Champion and retained his title in 2007 making him the first beatboxer in UK history to win two championships in a row. He was on the 2008 judging panel.
i leaerned to do this edited to my own beatbox style !! The feeling when you do it correctly .... dat feel !!! thank you reeps one for innovating beatbox for us ! i promise to show it to you one day !
its because crowe is a street performer and all you see on yt of him is basically the act he does on the street, im sure crowe is able to do way more then that single routine. they are both really good
Someone should add the subtitles. :D I love it! Its nice that nowadays beatbox has evolved so much and it has become more popular because is more "free"-field to make new sounds and styles etc. Everyone can come up with something new and special again and again.
He isn't holding his breath! He is doing the ''Inward Drag''. You can see the tutorials of ''Inward Drag'' and you will see he isn't holding his breath :)
In fact, Reeps did not make mistakes,, he used 2 beats twice... due to the fact he had a serious lack of sleeping the past 2-3 days before the battles.
The power of organic dubstep compels us all! Maximum respect to my guy Reeps One form the US! Keep the beatbox scene alive till the end of time and space and beyond.
Lol I've already seen that video and even then you still hear no sign of "t" in "ultimate"... The only it would be "ultimate" is if his accent masks the "t" sound and makes it an "n"... And just because the routine is called "Ultimate drop" it doesn't necessarily mean that he says "ultimate drop". Try reading his lips on 720p and turn the volume to Max...
just close your lips like how it would be when you ate something sour, and just use your tongue to push out the air, but fast, hope that answers your question XD
Pure amazement bro. I need to learn that fart sound it's awesome I got one variant of it but some of the higher pitch are hard. And my throat bass doesn't sound artificial enough. Someone wanna help me out with beatbox techniques I'm a fast learner learned throat bass in less than three days. No lie throat bass is simple it's just like the death metal scream but one sound instead of two clashing
Banging beat boxing in this one. The comments below are really stupid and meaningless, but one thing, his accent isn't distinctive enough to be hard to tell whether it is 'ultimate drop' or 'owe them a drop' he is saying. It's adorable to notice people try to explain something that doesn't define anything. Like an English teacher.
In the second round of the battle, Reeps makes a mistake at the beginning of the inward drag beat also used in this video. Although Reeps has some sick beats, lots of technical skill and precision, Skiller just killed him with his clock beat, that was just insane. In my opinion, I prefer Reeps beats rather than Skiller beats, but Skiller was just better in that battle and deserved to win the Championship.
i remember i used to get in trouble in class for making sounds with my mouth and i had the same sound effects he had. I just wish i remember how i did it :'(
Dave crowe actually competed in the 2011 uk vauxhall beatbox championships (search 2011 vauxhall beatbox championships grand final video edit) and he doesnt even get past quarter finals, he gets beat by contrix who is a DUBSTEP beatboxer later in the competition reeps one beats contrix. I know dave crowe is good but cmon, Reeps one is at a different level.
fair play to you for making proper beatbox - in opposite to doing a mash up of all possible beats together, that is more like showing off. its all about the groove ;)
Just a lip oscillation I think, its the same as the sound at 1:37, but instead of pulsing the amount of air that comes out your mouth just keep it at a constant and put your top lip slightly forward. That's how I do it anyway.
Why would you even bother comparing them? There style's are completely different anyway. So you can't even say he's better when they do different things.
Not really. He has gone 2 times to the Vauxhall Beatbox Championship. In 2012 he first got to finals in the first part of the championship (It's two parts: first one is regional and the second one is national) and lost against Ball-Zee. He got to the nationals (since he got second place) and lost in the first battle against Contrix who was later defeated by Reeps One who later lost against Ball Zee. Crow used only his rutine some new beats here and there. He is not able to do "way more" at all.
Of course that Reeps speed is nothing compared to Skiller's and his READY GO! would send Skiller to Bulgaria, but what it counts in the battles it's what the beatboxer can bring better beats, better musicality in a way of making his opponent look like shit. Reep's mistake in the first round was trying to step up with Skiller speed. In the second round Reeps fails to deliver Inward Drag successfully as you can hear in the video. Reeps is better in musicality, but Skiller killed him with his clock
There are several types of beatboxers, technicallity showoffs beatboxers, Musical beatboxers, Entertaining beatboxers, and reeps one has them all , but his technicallity what is at a high level is not used enough in his battle against skiller. Skiller is purely technical, so on that aspect he ruled that match and for reeps he didnt do bad at all, but he made more mistakes then skiller what gives the result of him losing.
dude u dont know wat technicality is then lol n that video was july 2011 dat was a year ago. the most impressive part of this video is 2:06 which im sure u will disagree since it seems like u lack knowledge in wats actually difficult to do see technicality will take years of practice to achieve n b4 anything let me explain to u wat it is its ur kick snare drum n hats n tks how complex of a drum pattern can u make sharply at a sick rhythm n speed which is why alem and skiller were in the finals
dude if i can do this skiller can do this u know nothing bout beatboxing if u think skiller cant do this lol thats why u would never be a beatbox battle judge because u would chose the wrong winner lol this is a slow simple pattern idk if u havent realized but technicality is way harder to do then a simple slow routine
the thing is that he can lol no1 was born beatboxing extremely techincal fast n sharp everyone started as a beginner do u honestly believe if car can go 250 miles per hour it would be imposible for it to go 50 miles per hour? fuck of course not skiller can choose to slow down n do simpler beats if he wanted to lol
Yeah, im another 19 year old beatboxer looking to be as famous and as good as he is, i lack confidence and, quite a few techniques but if anyone can just give the beatbox on my page that i made a look and some feedback i would appreciate it, thank you so much
I know this is an old routine, but I wanna listen to it now, properly.
True fan shit
His breathing technique is like no other.
Special and Unique.
REEPS ONE!
RubikRem but not like Reeps one
RubikRem he pioneered the inward drag my friend. It's an official Reeps One sound.
Yep. It is. The fast inhale exhale is his. The official video of him performing inward drag for the first time is on RUclips. Search Reeps One inward drag
RubikRem everybody started it after him because he made the breathing aspect musical.
RubikRem its accualy is i learned not that hard and im only 14 so if can do it anyone can cause ive been practicing off reeps one sence i was 6 lol
His shirt sleeve is bothering me

Superb recording and superb performance. Respect to Reeps One :)
I hate it how on youtube people can get millions of views with out showing any sign of talent and get hundreds of thousands of likes reeps deserves all that shit cause he actually has talent! :D
2015!
big up Reeps from Czech. rep.

Reeps one's style is just Magic ....
i leaerned to do this edited to my own beatbox style !! The feeling when you do it correctly .... dat feel !!! thank you reeps one for innovating beatbox for us ! i promise to show it to you one day !
its because crowe is a street performer and all you see on yt of him is basically the act he does on the street, im sure crowe is able to do way more then that single routine. they are both really good
superbly done reeps
So bad ass! I could watch this countless times and still be entertained by it! Can't wait for numbers 2 & 3! :) Reeps One owns this shit! Haha
You know your an influential beat-boxer when you have beats that people consider classic. Gotta love Reeps One.
hes the best ive seen so far
Someone should add the subtitles. :D I love it! Its nice that nowadays beatbox has evolved so much and it has become more popular because is more "free"-field to make new sounds and styles etc. Everyone can come up with something new and special again and again.
London grime grove B t b wub k t b wub B t b wub k t b wub 8 times,then get low,then mix it,if u mean by that.

+Vasco Silverio nope man, just good. Alem is god ;)
Владислав Жердицкий Alem is no where reeps, reeps is in a league of his own
Real sht, without loop, one shot!😮 👏🌟
It isn't hard to be better than Crowe. . . He only has ONE routine, and he never breaks is childlike beat during ANY of it.
All of what he is doing is perfection :)
ReepsOne v Beardy ; D That I would like to see.
Reeps gets better by time to time
omg every time is better with this guy mate how do u keep it up damn:)
I always jam out into a beatbox session, think it's really good, then come here and have my dreams crushed.
he used this beat against skiller in the beatbox world champs 2012 that battle was the sickest battle ever
Your not Human... amazing
Sick beatboxing, sick ivideo, sick audio!
Amazing, I love it!

This isn't talent , my friend . It's a fucking gift , given by the gods ! :)
yeah he actually does hes very technical in all his battles
yeah man -reeps one awesome sound :D
Who else thinks this guy could make the best fart sounds ever?
He isn't holding his breath! He is doing the ''Inward Drag''. You can see the tutorials of ''Inward Drag'' and you will see he isn't holding his breath :)
one word =.= awesome ..
2:06 classic build up and combo
In fact, Reeps did not make mistakes,, he used 2 beats twice... due to the fact he had a serious lack of sleeping the past 2-3 days before the battles.
The power of organic dubstep compels us all! Maximum respect to my guy Reeps One form the US! Keep the beatbox scene alive till the end of time and space and beyond.

Man he's so damn awesome! 🔥🔥🦀🔥🔥🦀🔥🦀🔥🦀🦀🦀

Check out our latest video with Reeps One in our BHTB Featurette series. We also have a beautiful 7 minute documentary film with MC Xander.
just try mimicking it, I tried it, just had to tweak it by outwards or an inwards growl I guess, and it worked XD
Reeps one the one & the only
7 people thought that the dislike button was the download button !!! :D
@bazanji i found our next instrumental.
Pure amazement bro. I need to learn that fart sound it's awesome I got one variant of it but some of the higher pitch are hard. And my throat bass doesn't sound artificial enough. this goes hard enough to be relevant still, my man was 10 years ahead of us😂
Banging beat boxing in this one. So sick.
sick drop

Nope. I'm just a young American citizen who has a lot of respect for a beatboxer from the UK.
someone who attempted his routine and failed miserably would have pressed dislike.
Reeps One / Ultimate Drop (Muck Session #1)
this is so fkin good. I wish one day i will be half good as reeps is now :) his beats are crazy
Fuck me that snare sounds clean.
i remember i used to get in trouble in class for making sounds with my mouth and i had the same sound effects he had. I just wish i remember how i did it :'(
Thanks :D
Also, completely random but does anybody know the name of the font that is used throughout this video? Cheers. :)
Anyone knows if it is an ordinary inward K-snare? its so sharp
this shit is sick bro

I want this as an mp3 x.x
Anyone knows the name of the sound he does @ :30 or so,between the k snares, kick drums and hi-hats?
fair play to you for making proper beatbox - in opposite to doing a mash up of all possible beats together, that is more like showing off.

i just cant help but to clap at the end of every beat this guy does! SUperly amazing
