Well done Kieu, from the information provided it would appear the pigs averaged 120 Kg per animal after deduction of cage weight, which is excellent given the age of the pig's ( any thing over 100 Kg is well done.) No criticism only two things I would have done or do.
1. Select a level piece of concrete/ground on which to weight the pigs. Even if you find an area in your garage and level it with timber on which you place your weighing machines. I know sloping ground can perhaps go either way but traders prefer sloping ground and you are a clever lady so I'll leave it up to you.
2. Very good to clean out the vacant barn with high pressure hoses before allowing adjacent stock/or new stock into the recently vacated barns, but also due to recent experienced disease's or just prudence, spray the vacated barns with disinfectant prior to adding stock. The sold animal's had been in the barns for several months.
I had to laugh at your difficulty in getting the pig out of the green space but look at from its point of view, I am lucky to fight the other 9 animals in my barn for a mouthful of these bean/green leaves every day and now I have a whole acre of it for myself, no way I am going to be chased out.
Very happy that you have a very positive video to post in view of your recent difficult times. Oh next time, YOU sit on the tailgate of the vehicle and let the man in the green tea shirt lift the animals up onto the truck. If he was a gentleman we would not have to ask him.
Hello dear friend, a scale only reads 150 kg, when the pig and the pen weigh more than 150 kg. I have to use another scale that reads 120 kg, but the low scale of 120 kg will not weigh accurately, I have to use a wooden board to weigh, the weight of the two scales is accurate.
