Wow! Another powerful film with Richard Gere. I love his work in his later years. It is so meaningful. If a script doesn't speak to him on a soul level, he rejects it. So amazing to see him still doing what he loves at his own pace now. Just read that he is moving to Spain with his wife and children. I hope they have an amazing life there. Namaste.
Yes, Richard, Alejandra and their children are moving to Spain. I have just read an interview in Hola Magazine where Richard speaks about his Spanish wife living with him in America for 6 years and he thinks it is only fair that he returns the favour and they all move to Spain to be near her parents and her friends who she misses very much. Also Richard speaks about how he loves Spain, the culture and the food and the way of life.

Richard gere makes some of the best movies purely based on on story and acting and he doesn't make movies often.

In the movie he explains that he didn’t want a child and wouldn’t have wanted it. that’s why she didn’t tell him. Movie was not worth watching, waist of my time

The film describes his love interest as being from a small town. And the scenes from Cambridge, Ontario fit that quite well. But the scenes shot in the high school are in a city of around 580,000 people. We're not exactly Mayberry.

Ha. The school scenes were shot at my old high school. It has been closed for years and has been getting work for movie shoots. The new Derry (IT) film has scenes shot there too. I go past that cemetery almost every day too.
I read where it played in select theaters in early June and then will be available on networks. Why? It looked like an awesome movie??!! I hope what I read was wrong and it will be in the theaters soon. Has anyone heard anything?

This was quite possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. How is it possible that Richard Gere, one of the best actors of my generation, ends up in this??? I am no movie snob but I was excited to see him in this and ended up turning it off. The story is so ridiculous that it actually makes you uncomfortable to watch. Very disappointed.
