Nicole's performance is wickedly dark and beautiful at the same time.
Just finished it. Very formulaic, but also entertaining. I especially liked the opening credit scenes where it’s clear the cast is all there line dancing and then again during the final credits where the woman who plays Amelia’s sick mom is laughing and dancing with her normal hair and not the wig.

It’s a vicious cycle for people who abuse fillers, and a mess all around! This local celebrity in Portugal just fell in disgrace financially, used to abuse fillers and now can’t afford them anymore, his skin looks so saggy that it makes him look older than he is, it’s sad. People who use too many fillers than either need to continue or get under the knife to remove the excess skin; could be Kidman’s story. She may have accumulated excess skin from using too many fillers, and then had to remove it, because she does look like she’s also been under the knife.
Please for the love of God don't let Nicole Kidman introduce Dakota to her plastic surgeon!

Starts out with quirky and bizarre filming; jumps around flashing unconnected scenes without any direction, no thanks, critics were right, it all style and no substance, good screenwriting is hard to find, couldn't get through the first 15 minutes.

@@shougokawada8491 we are focusing on her work, her facial impression (or lack of) impacts her performance (since you need to express your emotions when acting). Also is very distracting as a viewer as her appearance just looks too odd vs what she used to look like.

Exactly, her friend and fellow Aussie Naomi Watts seems to have avoided surgery (or if she did its minimal compared to Kidman) and although she's aged she still looks great and much better (and natural!) than Kidman

Nice series and beautifully shot. At last a director or DoP who isn't interested in showing off the low light capability of the camera. I like the grading too with slightly saturated colours. Good storyline, well acted, and cut. All in all a thoroughly professionally made and entertaining series.

Haven't seen the show yet but when Kidman says in the trailer "Even the best of liars gets very tired.....all gets too overwhelming, and they snap", I was hoping to her a response from the cop along the lines of "Just to be clear, are you speaking on behalf all liars, or only the Winbury's of Nantucket?".
