Makes the channel perfect.
JustDrive4Life yea it’s a king
White gums is coho and no spots on the back. Springs have black gums spots on there back and are generally alot thicker🤘

Peric: “we’re kickin it old school style” Also Peric: sitting in front of a full blown barbecue
LMFAO! Came down here to say the same thing...TY.
Hahahaha
doesn’t know that “smoking” fish isn’t cooking fish
Alix, that was one awesome video series ! I am from Michigan and you did our state proud ! Thank-you for having the fortitude to circumnavigate Lake Michigan in a Bass Boat !! Two thumbs up !
The small salmon you caught was a small chinook”king” salmon not coho. You can tell by the mouth/gum colour
Ya that’s what I said
We call them black mouths here in the pnw boys
Do you guys have steelies back east?
Yuppppp
James Tobin yep
Nice! Michigan in a bass boat! You’re a crazy nut! But hella adventure to show and tell for a lifetime!
Well done enjoyed the series,Next LAKE SUPERIOR TO LAKE ONTARIO....
I wouldn’t have the balls to take a bass boat on superior been there lots but that’s just me.
@@foxacresfarm7595 conditions would have to be perfect.
Mama sup would swallow peric an his boat whole. That’s big time scary.
NO Lake Erie.
St.Clair Eric yeah perfect conditions don’t happen on superior, at least for very long.
Peric - “well the winds died down to a steady 20, and the swells are only 5 feet. Ummmm, let’s get some lines in the water!!!”
Weird cause I always slayed smallies In Charlevoix, it’s always been fire for me
Wife and I did the circle tour couple yrs ago and this was by far my favorite city. Could move there in a heartbeat
Got to see some of this country I would never have been able to. Awesome videos!
I stumbled across this channel and I have to say that this is something that absolutely i would love to do with life. I'm an average fisherman usually just hook and bobber. Slowly learning more methods of fishing. You guys are awesome.
Lmfao “that’s a coho see because of the black mouth” no peric it’s the other way around son that’s a king
I can't believe that you skipped my beautiful hometown of Grand Haven, Michigan!
Epic accomplishment.Well done sir!
Also don't eat the bellies of salmon that came from the great lakes, they have a lot of mercury in them.
And pcbs
Indiana has some really great smallmouth fishing!!!
Him camping on that island looks so enjoyable especially with fresh salmon, a campfire, and a boat. I would be sleeping in the tent tho lol.
If there’s no mosquitos or gnats... Why not?
Maybe the “weather” comes a different direction there but I usually anchor the bow out and run a line from stern to shore.
This has been my favorite series from you! Congrats on accomplishing a goal of yours. If you're ever in the Indy area, I'd be happy to host you.
King Salmon have black mouthes and gums, you caught a little king
Hunt Hill it’s a king
It was a little king black gums
King all the way...
Hunt Hill YOU don’t know what you’re talking about.
@@hunthill2493 imagine telling someone they don't know what they're talking about when you have no idea yourself
Been waiting for this video for a week! Keep it up man
One of my favorite series! Well done! Can’t wait for some more!
So it will take some thinking to top this adventure. What are you doing with your man Friday mr. Crusoe? I hope you don't just throw him away. This was a real nice bunch of vids taking us along on your trip. Good for you and your man there. Peace.
It’s hard to travel that many miles in any boat let alone a bass boat. Props, great series
“Got one dad caught it on the worm”- Alex Peric
Enjoyed the video my dude. Got the gears spinning in my head now.

Pdmo8 yeah it’s great, tight lines!

Great fishing series really cool lake to explore. Well done guys.
Trip of a lifetime
His FISHING is incredible, this place only has beautiful fish, CONGRATULATIONS fisherman!
Hug and good fishing always.👍🎣🐠🐟
I saw the same comment on Jonb’s vid
I'm in southern Indiana. Been bass fishing Indiana for almost 30 years. In my opinion, a "nice" bass is around 5lbs. There are some public sweet spots in S. Indiana that hold some big 'uns. Up to 8 lbs. isn't uncommon. Bigger than that is pretty rare, but not out of the question. I'm sure there will be disagreements on this, but as I stated, it's my opinion.
I really enjoyed the series Alex! Thanks for all the hard work filming and editing, we all appreciate it!!!
This was a great series keep up the great work
Great series AP, really enjoyed it would love to see you do another Great lake!
Dude, what an adventure!!! Cool AF! 🤙🇺🇸😎
Peric - the first person to ever fish in Indiana
Indianas low key got the spots...there is some good fishing there!
Lake salamonie in Indiana has lots of bass and catfish, there’s walleye and pike there as well but not a vast amount
Peric next time you in Michigan stop at Muskegon and I'll put you on some big salmon, steelhead, and lakers

Charlevoix is one of my favorite smallmouth destinations.

Yooo I live in Ludington and when I saw that you live here it was so cool
It’s definitely a king
"Let's get it" as the bass boat bow takes a Lake Michigan 4 footer off camera ;)
Finally! He’s BACK!
I would walk 500 miles. And I would fish 500 more.
I am familiar with trolling but on lake erie for walleye and i just love when you troll for these salmon, so in the future summers definitely go around lake Ontario or lake erie. enjoyed the series a lot
Gotta watch out for those rocks exploding when you have fires in them it happens lol
When the border opens up you should do a circumnavigating south and north basin lake Winnipeg.
What’s the next Great Lake you have to hit all of them now loved this ideal!
I love watching al fish my home state!! The great northern mitten never fails
What city are you from I’m from grand rapids
Mdjl06 I was born in GR, from Walker, but now I live in Saint Clair Bay Area

Freaking epic series in my home state!!
I live l15 minutes away from that Marina in Michigan city and me and my dad go fish for perch just outside that break wall
Michigan city where you’re at is LOADED with steelhead and perch. Lots and lots of summer steelhead and drum
Small king but still tastes great
Awesome fishing. What type of line are you using on your bait caster for the largemouth?
That's a Chinook (King) salmon. The full black mouth can help you easily ID it
that was a baby KING salmon bro!! AKA CHINOOK!! AKA BLACKMOUTH!
Nice leaving food out over night for predators I’m so proud 😂😂😂 nah I’m jk
Northern Michigan is incredible! we've had some great weather lately; glad to see you enjoying Northern MI

Waited so long for the last episode 😂
So did anyone get a hold of you about those tagged fish? My fishing partner caught a tagged large mouth out of Lake Tarpon Florida....... Worth $100 FWC sent him his check like 3 weeks after the catch
Gibraltar Michigan, to Buffalo New York. On lake Erie
!i enjoyed the mini series - now to erie and ontario. easy! oh and do the thousand islands some time, might be able to hook you up with a place in carnegie bay.
I only caught one smallie in Michigan City.
You should have put the goby in the googan tank
Muskegon is like my back yard I’m 30 mins south of there in holland, mi you shoulda stopped out we would have taken you out on our 35’ salmon boat!
Great vid
That's a jack king salmon. Hold on a minute did you just throw a gobie back in the water? Invasive species bud.....
Smallmouth thrive on gobys bud.
@@treybrafford3493 they're still an invasive species bud
I live by a creek off the grand river in Grand Rapids Michigan and it used to be full of snallmouth till the gobys came in now I haven't caught a smallmouth in 5 years there
Chirpy Mike that one goby is definitely gonna ruin the ecosystem right bud?
@@spencercarter5999 No but if everyone threw back that one or two gobys it could
Man I could have got you on some nice River Browns on them blow days.
Never shut the boat off when fighting a fish.
You should have made an inuksuk on the island
